Claims (24)
- 3次元部品をプリントするための付加的製造システムであって、
部品材料の層を形成するように構成された電子写真イメージングエンジンと、
前記部品材料の層がビルドローラの円筒状ベース上で円筒形スクロール状に形成されるように前記部品材料を受け入れながら回転する前記ビルドローラと、
を含み、
前記部品材料の隣接する層の前記部品材料が前記ビルドローラ上で互いに結合され、前記3次元部品が非円筒形であり得ることを特徴とする、付加的製造システム。 - 前記ビルドローラは構造サポート材料の層も受け入れ、前記円筒形スクロールが、前記部品材料および前記構造サポート材料の連続した層を含み、前記構造サポート材料が、前記ビルドローラ上の前記3次元部品の周りに円筒状構造サポートを形成することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の付加的製造システム。
- 前記ビルドローラが、前記部品材料および前記構造サポート材料を含む材料の連続ウェブを受領することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の付加的製造システム。
- 前記構造サポート材料が、前記3次元部品に影響を与えない溶液において溶解可能であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の付加的製造システム。
- 追加部品材料の受領を更に含み、前記3次元部品が形成されている間に第2の3次元部品が形成されるように、前記追加部品材料の円筒形層が前記ビルドローラ上に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の付加的製造システム。
- 前記部品材料が複数材料を含むことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の付加的製造システム。
- コンピュータによって実施されるコンピュータ実装方法であって、
円筒状の構築空間内で部品表面を配向するステップと、
前記部品表面と円筒状螺旋との間の交差を識別するステップと、
前記交差が存在する前記円筒状螺旋に沿った離散的な角度のセットの各々に対して、少なくとも1つのプリントポイントをメモリに記憶するステップであって、プリントポイントがプリントされるのと同じ順序でプリントポイントが決定されて前記メモリに記憶されるステップと、
を含んでなることを特徴とするコンピュータ実装方法。 - 部品表面を配向する前記ステップが、複数の部品表面を有する部品を配向するステップを含み、交差を識別する前記ステップが、前記複数の部品表面と前記円筒状螺旋との間のすべての交差を識別するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のコンピュータ実装方法。
- プリントポイントをプリントする順序で記憶する前記ステップが、単一の離散的な角度に対して、前記複数の部品表面のプリントポイントを記憶することを含むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のコンピュータ実装方法。
- 前記円筒状螺旋が、前記角度の変化と共に連続的に増加する半径を有する連続スクロールの一部を形成し、当該方法が、前記部品表面と前記連続スクロールとの間の複数の交差を識別するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のコンピュータ実装方法。
- プリントポイントをプリントする順序で記憶する前記ステップが、前記連続スクロールとの交差に対してプリントポイントを記憶することを含み、前記連続スクロールのより小さな半径に関するプリントポイントが、前記連続スクロールのより大きな半径に関連するプリントポイントの前に記憶されることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のコンピュータ実装方法。
- 前記部品表面が、第1の部品の一部を形成し、当該方法は、
前記円筒状の構築空間内で第2の部品の部品表面を配向するステップと、
前記第2の部品の部品表面と前記円筒状螺旋との間の交差を識別するステップと、
前記第2の部品の前記部品表面と前記円筒状螺旋との間の前記交差が存在する前記円筒状螺旋に沿った離散的な角度のセットの各々に対して、少なくとも1つのプリントポイントを前記メモリに記憶するステップであって、前記プリントポイントがプリントされるのと同じ順序で前記プリントポイントが前記メモリに記憶されるステップと、を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のコンピュータ実装方法。 - 少なくとも1つの離散的な角度に対して、前記第1の部品のプリントポイントと前記第2の部品のプリントポイントが前記メモリに記憶されることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載のコンピュータ実装方法。
- プリントポイントを記憶する前記ステップが、前記プリントポイントのx、y平面上の座標を記憶するステップを含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のコンピュータ実装方法。
- プリントポイントを記憶する前記ステップが、単一の材料のプリントポイント専用のファイルに前記プリントポイントの座標を記憶するステップを含むことを特徴とする、請求項14に記載のコンピュータ実装方法。
- 付加的製造システムであって、
コンベアアセンブリ上に材料をプリントする電子写真プリントエンジンプリンタと、
前記コンベアアセンブリから前記材料を受領する転写媒体であって、一つ以上の3D部品を層的な方法で円筒形スクロール状に構築するために、円筒形スクロール状のビルドシリンダ上に前記材料を転写する転写媒体と、
を含んでなることを特徴とする付加的製造システム。 - 前記転写媒体が転写ドラムを含み、前記転写媒体が前記転写ドラム上に前記材料を解放し、前記転写ドラムが前記材料を前記ビルドシリンダ上に転写することを特徴とする、請求項16に記載の付加的製造システム。
- 前記転写ドラム上の前記材料に熱及び圧力を加えて前記転写ドラム上に凝縮層を形成する焼結ローラをさらに含み、前記ビルドシリンダ上に解放された前記材料が前記凝縮層を含むことを特徴とする、請求項17に記載の付加的製造システム。
- 前記凝縮層が前記ビルドシリンダ上に解放されて転写層を形成した後に、前記凝縮層を前記ビルドシリンダ内に押圧する加圧ローラをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の付加的製造システム。
- 前記凝縮層が前記ビルドシリンダ上に解放される前に、前記凝縮層に電荷を印加するように構成された帯電デバイスをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の付加的製造システム。
- 前記ビルドシリンダ上の前記円筒形スクロールを冷却する冷却ローラをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の付加的製造システム。
- 前記ビルドシリンダが、前記ビルドシリンダの各回転とともに減速する角速度で回転することを特徴とする、請求項17に記載の付加的製造システム。
- 前記転写ドラムが実質的に一定の速度で回転することを特徴とする、請求項22に記載の付加的製造システム。
- 前記ビルドシリンダがトルク制限モータによって駆動されることを特徴とする、請求項22に記載の付加的製造システム。
