そして、前記のようにコネクタ本体1の回動軸14に接続されたクランプレバー3を、回動軸14を軸として回動して、クランプレバー3を開いた状態から閉じた状態にすることで、クランプレバー3の押圧部32に押圧された接触部26が軸方向に可動して、コネクタキャップ2の内筒21を押し下げ、コネクタ本体1の締め付けリング留め部16との間で締め付けリング4が押し潰され、結果、カテーテルが締め付けリング4に締め付けられて固定される。尚、カテーテルの接続を解除するときは、クランプレバー3を閉じた状態から開いた状態にすることで、コネクタキャップ2全体が遠位側にスライドし、結果、締め付けリング4への押圧が解除され貫通孔41が広がることで接続が解除される。

該締め付けリングを内腔に収容する筒部を備えるコネクタ本体と、
該コネクタ本体と共に前記締め付けリングを挟み込む態様でコネクタ本体に組み付けるコネクタキャップと、
前記コネクタ本体に対してコネクタキャップを軸方向に相対的にスライドし、締め付けリングへの押圧、及び、その解除をするスライド手段により構成し、
前記コネクタ本体の筒部内腔の一部壁面には軸方向に並列する複数の凹条溝を備えることを特徴とするカテーテルコネクタ。
