Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a spark plug, and more particularly to a spark plug incorporating a magnetic material.
In order to suppress radio noise generated during discharge, a spark plug is known in which a conductor is disposed in the shaft hole of the insulator held by the metal shell, and a magnetic material is disposed around the conductor and inside the shaft hole. (Patent Document 1). In the technique disclosed in Patent Document 2, the magnetic body contains a plurality of different magnetic materials.
However, in the above-described conventional technique, sufficient ingenuity has not been made with respect to insulation when a magnetic body is interposed between the metal shell and the conductor.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a spark plug that can ensure insulation between the metal shell and the conductor.
To achieve this object, a spark plug of the present invention comprises an insulator having an axial hole extending in the axial direction from the front end side to the rear end side, a cylindrical metal shell for holding the insulator from the outer peripheral side, a shaft A conductor disposed in the hole and a magnetic body disposed around the conductor and inside the shaft hole are provided. The magnetic body is composed of a plurality of magnetic members respectively formed of magnetic materials having different magnetic permeability frequency characteristics, and a part of the magnetic body is disposed on the front end side with respect to the rear end of the metal shell, Among the members having the lowest volume resistivity, the entire member is disposed on the rear end side with respect to the rear end of the metal shell.
According to the spark plug of
According to the spark plug of claim 2, the magnetic body includes three or more magnetic members each formed of three or more kinds of magnetic materials having different magnetic permeability frequency characteristics. Thereby, the frequency band which can suppress noise can be expanded. In addition, a member of which at least a part is disposed on the front side of the rear end of the metal shell among the magnetic members is a member having the highest volume resistivity among the magnetic members. As a result, since members other than the member having the highest volume resistivity can be prevented from being disposed between the metal shell and the conductor, in addition to the effect of
According to the spark plug of claim 3, the volume of the plurality of magnetic members having the highest frequency indicating the maximum peak of the magnetic permeability of the magnetic material among the plurality of magnetic members with respect to the entire volume of the plurality of magnetic members. Is the largest percentage. Here, it is known that a magnetic material having a higher frequency showing the maximum peak of magnetic permeability (that is, a magnetic material having a function of suppressing high frequency components of noise) has a lower maximum peak. Therefore, by increasing the volume of the member having a relatively low noise high-frequency component suppression effect, in addition to the effect of
According to the spark plug of the fourth aspect, the plurality of magnetic members have contact surfaces that are in contact with each other in the axial direction, and the plurality of magnetic members are formed on the contact surface so as to be uneven. It can be difficult. As a result, in addition to the effects of any one of
According to the spark plug of the fifth aspect, since the plurality of magnetic members are fixed to each other through the fixing member, in addition to the effect of any one of the first to fourth aspects, the breakage of the magnetic member due to vibration or the like is suppressed. it can.
According to the spark plug of the sixth aspect, the magnetic material contains Mn—Zn ferrite and Ni—Zn ferrite. Mn—Zn ferrite easily suppresses low frequency components of noise, and Ni—Zn ferrite easily suppresses high frequency components of noise. Furthermore, Ni—Zn ferrite has a higher volume resistivity than Mn—Zn ferrite. Therefore, by these combinations, in addition to the effect of any one of

The
The

The
The fixing
The
Next, the
Next, the raw material powder of the
Next, the second member 42, the

FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of the frequency characteristics of the magnetic materials constituting the
The frequency showing the maximum peak of magnetic permeability is the highest in the magnetic material (Ni-Zn ferrite) constituting the
Of the
In the
In the

A second embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. In the first embodiment, on the front end side of the
The
The
The frequency showing the maximum peak of magnetic permeability is the highest in the magnetic material (Ni—Zn ferrite) constituting the
In the
Further, since the ratio of the volume of the
The third to fifth embodiments will be described with reference to FIG. In the first and second embodiments, the case where the surfaces of the

The
The
