Abstract

To provide a sheet-like puzzle toy in which the combination of multiple puzzle pieces is not separated even by the twist bending force, and an assembly containing a curved surface and being complex and full of variation can be made freely.SOLUTION: In a shape of a puzzle piece, knob-shaped tabs 8 are arranged in an outer circumference of a substantially polygonal body portion 7. In a place where the tab 8 comes in contact with a substantial polygon 7, a cut 9 of the length assuming 1/4 W as a guide is made from both sides of the tab 8 to the center direction of the tab along the side of the substantial polygon 7. The position of the tab is shifted by 1/2 W from the center of a substantially polygonal side, and thereby the shape is made so that the vertex between body substantial polygons may come in contact in connecting multiple puzzle pieces. In connecting means, puzzle pieces are strongly connected to the twist bending force and are connected removably by the tabs 8 and the cuts 9 being fitted alternately. In the raw material of the puzzle piece, a flexible sheet-like material is adopted, and thereby the use by bending the puzzle piece and the use by bending a flat surface and a solid made of multiple puzzle pieces are made possible.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

Description

The present invention relates to a sheet-like puzzle toy that is made of a foldable sheet and that can be assembled into a solid body having a plane, a polyhedron, and a curved surface by combining a plurality of puzzle pieces having tab-like tabs.

Various lithographic puzzles have been proposed in which a large number of parts are combined to create a shaped object. Conventional paper three-dimensional craft puzzles are prepared in advance and assembled as described. In addition, as a method of joining the puzzle pieces of the conventional puzzle toy, there are a method of fitting a convex portion into the concave portion and a method of hooking a claw-shaped protruding portion.

Conventional puzzle toys using plastic materials are often hard materials, and there is a risk of injury if an infant hits or steps on them. In addition, puzzle toys using conventional plastics materials are thick due to their thickness and difficult to store as the number increases.

Sheet-shaped puzzles made of paper and other materials are light and flexible, so there is no risk of injury from being hit by an infant, and they are not bulky when stored. The parts of the finished product are prepared and assembled as described, so there is little room for the ingenuity of the creator.

As for puzzle pieces, general puzzle toys cannot be made by bending a puzzle piece freely because the puzzle piece is made of a hard material.
Therefore, as shown in Patent Document 1, Patent Document 2, Patent Document 3, and Patent Document 4, if the polygon puzzle piece is a material that cannot be folded, the solid to be assembled is an abstract polyhedron that is a set of polygons. Therefore, a concrete three-dimensional expression having a curved surface is difficult.

The puzzle toys found in Patent Document 1, Patent Document 2, Patent Document 3, and Patent Document 4 need to be dismantled almost completely to remove one puzzle piece after assembling. It is difficult to carry out trial and error, such as repeatedly detaching and detaching puzzle pieces at arbitrary locations after assembly.

In the method of joining puzzle pieces, the method of fitting the concave and convex parts represented by Patent Document 2 and jigsaw puzzles is easy to disengage the puzzle pieces when a force is applied to the plane made by the combination of the puzzle pieces in the vertical direction. End up. For this reason, complicated modeling such as twisting a plane formed by a combination of puzzle pieces is impossible, and there are limits to variations in modeling production.

As in Patent Document 3, the method of hooking the puzzle pieces together with the claw-like protrusions is difficult to come off even if a force is applied to the plane formed by the combination of the puzzle pieces in the vertical direction, but the claw-like protrusions mesh with each other. It is easy to come off when the opposite force is applied.

The sheet-like puzzle toy of the present invention is a sheet-like puzzle toy comprising a plurality of detachable puzzle pieces, wherein the puzzle pieces can be bent and deformed, and the puzzle pieces have a substantially polygonal main body portion and substantially many pieces. Consists of tab-like tabs protruding from the sides of the square. The tabs are continuous with the polygonal sides adjacent to each other, and the points where the tabs connect to the polygonal body part are the sides of the body polygon. A plurality of puzzle pieces are joined together by alternately fitting tab-like tabs and cuts. In addition, the substantially polygon in this invention includes polygons, such as a triangle and a rectangle, a circle | round | yen, an ellipse, etc.

The present invention provides a sheet-like puzzle toy that is excellent in storability because it is a lithographic sheet, and is safe because it is lightweight and flexible, so that an infant can play with peace of mind.

According to the present invention, it is difficult to come off even if a force pulling a plane formed by a combination of a plurality of joined puzzle pieces is applied, and it is difficult to come off even if a vertical force is applied to a plane formed by a combination of puzzle pieces. It is possible to provide a sheet-like puzzle toy capable of producing a three-dimensional structure having a curved surface to which a twisting bending force is applied.

According to the present invention, it is possible to combine a plurality of puzzle pieces by a simple operation of fitting tabs and cut portions alternately, and it is also possible to remove only a part of an arbitrary puzzle piece of a work after the work is assembled. Therefore, it is possible to provide a sheet-like puzzle toy that can be creatively devised through trial and error.

Since the material of the puzzle piece is a flexible and foldable sheet-like material, the present invention can be used by folding the puzzle piece, or by folding a plane or solid created by a plurality of puzzle pieces, It is possible to provide a sheet-like puzzle toy that can produce complex and varied works.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In each figure, the same number indicates the same content. The embodiment of the present invention is not limited to this example.

The puzzle piece is made of a flexible sheet-like material that can be folded, and is composed of a substantially polygonal main body part and a tab-like tab lined up continuously on the substantially polygonal side. FIG. 1 illustrates the mechanism of puzzle piece joining.

In FIG. 1 (a), 1 is a substantially polygonal portion of the main body, and 2 is a tab-like tab arranged continuously on the side of the main body. When the dimension of the width 3 of the tab is W, a cut 4 having a length of 1/4 W is provided from both sides of the tab toward the center of the tab along the side of the main body portion where the tab is connected to the main body portion. In this embodiment, the length of the cut is set to 1/4 W. However, the length is not limited to this, and the length of the cut is in the range of 25% to 35% with respect to W. If the notch is too long, the strength of the tab is reduced, and in addition, deviation is likely to occur at the time of joining.

When the length of the tab shown in FIG. 5 is L, since the material is a flexible sheet, in this example, L = W was set to ensure the strength of the tab. In this embodiment, L = W, but the length of L is not limited to this and is arbitrarily set. If L is too short, the strength of the tab will be reduced and it will be difficult to join the puzzle pieces.

As shown in Fig. 1 (b), the two puzzle pieces can be joined by a distance of 6W, that is, a distance indicated by 6 along the substantially polygonal side where the tabs are continuous. If they are stacked so that they deviate, the tab position of one puzzle piece and the notch position of the other puzzle piece are aligned, so the tabs of one puzzle piece fit together as if turning the paper into the notch of the other puzzle piece. To go. As shown in FIG. 1C, the two puzzle sides are joined together by the above joining method.

FIG. 1D is a diagram showing a state in which the joined puzzle pieces are opened. In this case, if the surface where the overlapping tabs are visible is the front surface, the joined part on the back surface will be finished as if the tabs were not visible as shown in Fig. 1 (e).

Based on the contents of Figure 1, the puzzle pieces in Figure 2, Figure 3, and Figure 4 were created. In the embodiment of Fig. 2, Fig. 3, Fig. 4, the tabs 8, 11 and 14 are circular because it is easy to pinch with the fingers when fitting the tabs into the notches, and other tab shapes depending on the design Is also possible.

In each of the embodiments shown in FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, the shape of the tab is a circle whose diameter is the width W of the tab, and the circular tab and the main body polygon substantially intersect the side of the main body polygon at a right angle. It is connected with a width of 1 / 2W around the diameter of the circular tab.
In addition, by shifting the position of successive tabs by 1/2 W from the center of the side of the main body polygon, the apexes of the main body polygons are in contact with each other when a plurality of puzzle pieces are combined.

FIG. 2 (a) is a diagram showing a planar shape of a square type puzzle piece. The square type puzzle pieces have tabs 8 arranged on the sides of the main body square 7, and on both sides of the place where the tabs 8 are connected to the main body square 7, along the sides of the main body square 7, from both sides of the tab 8 toward the center of the tab. Configures a notch 9 of 1 / 4W length. In this embodiment, the number of tabs on each side is three, but the shape of the square puzzle piece is not limited to this. FIG. 2 (b) is a photograph showing the combination of two square puzzle pieces.

FIG. 3 (a) is a diagram showing the planar shape of a rectangular puzzle piece. In the rectangular puzzle pieces, tabs 11 are arranged on the sides of the main body rectangle 10, and on both sides of the place where the tabs 11 connect to the main body rectangle 10, along the sides of the main body rectangle 10, from both sides of the tab 11 to the center of the tab A notch 12 having a length of 1/4 W is formed. In this embodiment, the number of tabs on two sides is three and the number of tabs on the remaining two sides is four. However, the shape of a rectangular puzzle piece is not limited to this. FIG. 3 (b) is a photograph showing the combination of two rectangular puzzle pieces.

FIG. 4 (a) is a diagram showing the planar shape of an equilateral triangle type puzzle piece. An equilateral triangle type puzzle piece has tabs 14 arranged on the side of the main body regular triangle 13 and tabs on both sides of the portion where the tab 14 is connected to the main body regular triangle 13 along the side of the main body regular triangle 13 from both sides of the tab 14. A notch 15 having a length of 1/4 W is formed in the direction of the center. In this embodiment, the number of tabs on each side is four, but the shape of an equilateral triangle type puzzle piece is not limited to this. FIG. 4 (b) is a photograph showing the combination of two regular triangle puzzle pieces.

FIG. 5 is a photograph showing a plurality of examples of joining puzzle pieces according to the example.
Fig. 5 (a) shows an example of connection where tabs can be seen, and Fig. 5 (b) shows an example of connection where tabs using the same puzzle pieces as in Fig. 5 (a) are not shown. The choice of whether or not to show such a tab-like tab can be considered according to the design of the object to be assembled.

FIG. 6 is a photograph showing an example of detaching the puzzle piece according to the example. FIG. 6 (a) shows that an arbitrary puzzle piece has been removed from the connection example of FIG. 5 (a). FIG. 6 (b) shows that another puzzle piece is fitted in the blank after the puzzle piece is removed. Thus, since the present invention can remove only a part without disassembling the whole after the modeling is assembled, trial and error at the time of modeling is easy.

FIG. 7 is a photograph showing a modification of the puzzle piece by bending the puzzle piece according to the example. Because the puzzle piece is a flexible and foldable sheet material, the shape of the puzzle piece can be changed by folding a part of the puzzle piece and overlaying the tabs. FIG. 7 shows a combination in which the main body portion is changed to a trapezoid by folding the rectangular and square puzzle pieces of the embodiment, and the substantial number of tabs on one side is reduced. In this way, by combining puzzle pieces whose shapes have been changed, three-dimensional modeling with various angles becomes possible.

FIG. 8 is a photograph showing a modification by bending a puzzle piece according to the example. Because puzzle pieces are flexible and foldable sheet materials, puzzle pieces can be folded like origami to create different shapes. This increases the degree of freedom of modeling variations.

FIG. 9 is a photograph showing an example of polyhedrons using puzzle pieces according to the example. Although the puzzle piece is a flexible sheet material, the joint portion overlaps a plurality of puzzle pieces, so that the strength of the side forming the joint portion is increased. In other words, the shape of the three-dimensional model is maintained because the joint portion plays a role like a framework in the three-dimensional model. Thus, various polyhedrons can be easily assembled by simply combining the puzzle pieces of the embodiment.

FIG. 10 is a photograph showing an example of solid modeling having a curved surface by the puzzle pieces according to the example. Since the puzzle piece is a flexible sheet material and the joint part can withstand the bending force, it is a feasible model.

FIG. 11 is a photograph showing an example of a bird made up of puzzle pieces according to the example. The overlapping method of the wings is expressed by the combination method that shows the tabs, and the sharpness of the beak is expressed by combining the combination method of hiding the tabs and the bending of the puzzle pieces.

FIG. 12 is a photograph showing an example of a monster by a puzzle piece according to the example. The texture of the monster is expressed using a combination method that shows the tabs and a combination method that hides the tabs. In addition, a large number of puzzle pieces that have been folded and deformed are used to create a model in which the tail is gradually narrowed.

FIG. 13 is a photograph showing an example of a dog animal character using the puzzle pieces according to the example. This example is a textured object that is created by stitching cloth together by adopting a coupling method that hides tabs.

FIG. 14 is a photograph showing an example of a cushion made of puzzle pieces according to the example. Since the puzzle pieces are flexible sheet materials, they can be used as cloth substitutes. As in the example, it is possible to create a work that sews cloth.
In the examples, we used non-woven fabric paper that is hard to tear and flexible as the puzzle piece material. However, other paper materials such as Japanese paper and synthetic paper, cloth materials such as felt, and synthetic materials such as vinyl sheets are also used. Various materials such as a resin material, a plastic plate, and a metal thin plate can be considered.

As described above, by using the sheet-like puzzle toy according to the present invention, it is possible to create various works that could not be considered with conventional puzzle toys. And since all the examples can be disassembled and returned to the state of the puzzle pieces before assembly, they are excellent in storage and carrying and can be played over and over again.
