一般に毛髪がダメージを受けると、内部のメデュラ細胞に空洞が発生して、ツヤ感が低下することが知られている(光学;39巻11号(2010)P518)。ツヤ指標としてメデュラの空洞率を測定した。
(1)化学処理を受けていない日本人女性の直毛を使い、長さ20cm、乾燥時重量3gのトレスを作製した。
(2)ゴールドウェルジャパン社製の「Glodwell Bleach」と「Topchic Lotion(6%)」とを1:1.5の質量比で混合した混合物を、上記のトレスに浴比(混合物質量:トレス質量)=1:2で塗布し、25℃で20分間放置した。次いで、シャンプー処理とリンス処理をした後、ドライヤーで乾燥してブリーチ毛を得た。
(3)(2)を繰り返し、2回ブリーチ毛とした。
(4)更にシャンプー処理、リンス処理、ドライヤー乾燥を10回繰り返して、強ダメージ毛とした。
(5)表1に示す毛髪化粧料を、(4)で得た強ダメージ毛トレスに浴比1:2(毛髪質量:剤質量)で塗布し、ラップで覆う。室温で15分間静置した後、水分をタオルでふき取った(ただし、比較例3については、室温で15分間静置した後、剤を流水中で1分間すすぎ流し、水分をタオルでふき取った)。
(6)このトレスを下向きに設置し、ドライヤー(Tescom社製、Nobby NB3000)の吹き出し口からトレスの毛髪中心部までの距離が45cmになるようにドライヤー(弱温風モード:600W)を固定した。次いで、4秒に1回ずつ指を通しながらドライヤー乾燥を行った。
(7)乾燥したトレスの表面、裏面のそれぞれについて、根元、中間、毛先部位の計6箇所を光学顕微鏡で観察し、特異な画像を除外した4箇所の光学顕微鏡観察像についてデジタルカメラで3008×2000ピクセルの画像として入手した。図1に実施例1及び比較例1の画像を示す。
(8)画像処理ソフトImageJを用いて、メデュラ部位のピクセル数をカウントし、以下のようにメデュラ率を算出した。
メデュラ率(%)=メデュラ部位のピクセル数/(3008×2000)×100
(9)算出された4箇所分のメデュラ率(%)から平均値を求めた。ツヤ指標は、得られたメデュラ率(平均値)を用いて、以下のように評価した。スコアは小さいほど、ツヤ感に優れる。
<Glossy index evaluation>
In general, it is known that when the hair is damaged, a cavity is generated in the inner Medulla cells to reduce glossiness (Optics; Vol. 39, No. 11 (2010) P518). The void rate of Medula was measured as a gloss index.
(1) Using straight hair of a Japanese woman who has not undergone chemical treatment, a 20 cm long, dry weight 3 g of tres was prepared.
(2) A mixture of "Glodwell Bleach" and "Topchic Lotion (6%)" manufactured by Goldwell Japan Co., Ltd. in a mass ratio of 1: 1.5 is added to the above tress in bath ratio (mixture mass: tres mass) = The coating was applied 1: 2 and left at 25 ° C. for 20 minutes. Next, after shampooing and rinsing, it was dried with a dryer to obtain bleached hair.
(3) Repeat (2), and let it be bleached twice.
(4) Shampoo treatment, rinse treatment, and dryer drying were repeated 10 times to make strong damaged hair.
(5) The hair cosmetic composition shown in Table 1 is applied to the strongly damaged hair tress obtained in (4) at a bath ratio of 1: 2 (hair mass: agent mass) and covered with a wrap. After standing for 15 minutes at room temperature, the moisture was wiped with a towel (however, for Comparative Example 3, after standing for 15 minutes at room temperature, the agent was rinsed in running water for 1 minute and the moisture was wiped off with a towel) .
(6) The tress were installed downward, and the drier (light warm wind mode: 600 W) was fixed so that the distance from the outlet of the drier (Tescom, Nobby NB3000) to the center of the hair of the tres was 45 cm. . Next, dryer drying was performed while passing the finger once every 4 seconds.
(7) For each of the surface and the back of the dried tress, a total of six places of the root, middle, and hair tips are observed with an optical microscope, and the optical microscope observation images of four places excluding the peculiar image are 3008 by a digital camera. Obtained as an image of × 2000 pixels. Images of Example 1 and Comparative Example 1 are shown in FIG.
(8) The image processing software ImageJ was used to count the number of pixels of the meduran site, and the Medula rate was calculated as follows.
Medula rate (%) = number of pixels of Medula site / (3008 × 2000) × 100
(9) The average value was calculated from the calculated Medula rates (%) for four places. The gloss index was evaluated as follows using the obtained Medula rate (average value). The smaller the score, the better the gloss.
