Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a packaging material. More particularly, the present invention relates to a packaging material capable of easily opening a package in which food, medicine and the like are packaged.
Plastic film packaging materials are used for filling and packaging foods such as cheese, ham, sausages, kamaboko, sheep rattan and jelly, and for packaging pharmaceuticals such as powders. For example, sliced cheese obtained by forming processed cheese into a sheet of several mm thick and 10 cm square is directly and individually packaged with a plastic film, and a plurality of individual packages are used. They are piled up and are sold in the form stored in packing bags, such as pillow shape.
Such individual packages of food are described by way of example of sliced cheese packaging. One example of a conventional sliced cheese packaging material is a laminated plastic film with a sealing layer on one side of the substrate.
An example of the process of packaging sliced cheese continuously with a filling machine using a sliced cheese packaging material is demonstrated. A long slice cheese packaging material is set in the feeding section of the filling machine, pulled out in the longitudinal direction, and while moving continuously at a predetermined line speed, both ends in the width direction of the slice cheese packaging material are drawn to overlap Align and center seal the overlapped part to make it cylindrical. After pouring melted processed cheese into the cylindrical internal space, the processed cheese is pressed by a roll so as to have a predetermined cheese thickness to form a flat shape. The processed cheese is sealed in the package by sandwiching the openings at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the film and bringing the seal layers located on the inner surface into close contact with each other and heat sealing (side seal). After sealing, it is passed through water to cool and solidify the contents processed cheese. After cooling and solidification, the moisture on the packaging surface is removed using air and a brush. Thereafter, it is cut into a predetermined size to form individual packages, and a plurality of individual packages are stacked and packaged in an outer packaging bag.
In the process of removing moisture on the packaging surface, in order to avoid problems due to moisture in the process of stacking a plurality of individual packagings performed thereafter and to perform high-speed filling of the outer packaging bag, the efficiency of the packaging process is improved. It is desirable to reliably remove the moisture on the packaging surface in a shorter time.
Therefore, regarding a cheese packaging material that focuses on the water repellency of the surface, a propylene resin water repellent agent is applied entirely on the outer surface side of the film substrate, and from the propylene-ethylene copolymer etc. on the inner surface side of the film substrate.
However, the cheese package described in
The present invention advantageously solves the above-mentioned problems, and has both high sealability and easy openability, as well as a water-repellent surface and excellent packaging productivity at the time of packaging. The purpose is to provide materials.
As a result of intensive studies on packaging materials suitable for individually packaging thin foods such as sliced cheese and pharmaceuticals such as powders, the present inventors have found that a water repellent coating layer is formed on one side of a substrate layer. And a heat seal layer in parallel on one side, and the anchor coat agent layer, the delamination layer and the seal layer are provided on the other side of the substrate layer, and between the delamination layer and the substrate layer In addition, it has been found that by forming an anchor coating agent layer, a packaging material having both high shelf life sealability and easy openability, and further having water repellency on the surface can be obtained, and further from this, a seal is obtained. The layer comprises linear low density polyethylene and at least one selected from low density polyethylene, medium density polyethylene and high density polyethylene (HDPE), and said linear low density polyethylene and said low density polyethylene A seal layer having both high sealability and high openability is obtained by setting the compounding ratio with at least one selected from medium density polyethylene and high density polyethylene in a predetermined range, and the water repellent coating layer is made of polyamide It was found that a water repellent coating layer excellent in water repellency and heat resistance can be obtained by containing a resin and a nitrocellulose resin, and setting the blending ratio of the polyamide resin to the nitrocellulose resin within a predetermined range.

In the packaging material of the present invention, the heat seal layer preferably contains an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, and the anchor coating agent layer is an application layer of an aqueous dispersion containing a polyolefin resin, and the polyolefin resin Is a copolymer of a polyolefin component and an unsaturated carboxylic acid component, and the polyolefin component is preferably polypropylene, and the interlayer release layer is preferably polypropylene.
Furthermore, the packaging material of the present invention is suitable as a packaging material for cheese.
According to the packaging material of the present invention, it is possible to obtain a packaging material excellent in water repellency, having both high sealability and easy openability.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the packaging material of the present invention will be specifically described using an example of packaging cheese, using the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows a schematic cross-sectional view of an embodiment of the packaging material of the present invention. In FIG. 1, the
Further, on the other surface side of the substrate layer, in other words, on the surface side of the
In addition, in the
FIG. 2 shows a schematic cross-sectional view of the seal portion of the package using the
Further, as shown in FIG. 2, the outer surface of the package obtained by overlapping and overlapping the seal layers 5 of the

These resin films may be non-oriented films, but from the viewpoint of transparency and the like, uniaxially oriented films or biaxially oriented films are preferably used. The thickness of the film is not particularly limited, but is about 5 to 500 μm, preferably 5 to 300 μm, and more preferably 10 to 100 μm.

The barrier layer may be, for example, a metal foil made of aluminum foil or the like, a deposited film of an inorganic substance or an inorganic oxide, a deposited film having the deposited film on a resin film, or an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, polyvinylidene chloride, polyvinyl The layer may be made of alcohol, a gas barrier resin such as MXD6, or a combination thereof.
In order to ensure the visibility of food, the barrier layer is preferably transparent, and a vapor-deposited film of an inorganic oxide or an inorganic oxide vapor-deposited film formed by providing the vapor-deposited film on a plastic film is particularly preferably used Be done. The inorganic oxide for forming the vapor deposition film may be any inorganic oxide having transparency and gas barrier properties such as oxygen and water vapor. For example, aluminum oxide, silicon oxide, magnesium oxide, calcium oxide, oxide The oxides are zirconium, titanium oxide, boron oxide, hafnium oxide, barium oxide, etc. In particular, aluminum oxide and silicon oxide are preferably used in view of gas barrier properties, production efficiency and the like.

[Anchor coat agent layer]
The anchor
The effects of the
In the case of a packaging material comprising a multilayer film, when the polypropylene layer and the polyethylene layer are laminated, the adhesive strength between the polypropylene layer and the polyethylene layer becomes lower than the adhesive strength between similar layers. It is considered that easy openability of the packaging material can be obtained by utilizing this low interlayer adhesion strength. However, the polypropylene layer has poor adhesion to the base material layer generally used for the packaging material, and even if the conventionally known urethane anchor coating agent is formed on the surface of the base material layer, the polypropylene layer is extruded and laminated With the base material layer, the interlayer adhesion strength required for the packaging material was not obtained.
Bonding the polypropylene layer and the base layer with an adhesive, so-called dry lamination, is possible, but the cost is high, and a certain thickness of the polypropylene layer is necessary to bond with the adhesive. Specifically, a thickness of 20 μm or more is required. The polypropylene layer of such a thickness has a problem in packaging processing such as bending of a packaging material made of a multilayer film.
Therefore, instead of the polypropylene layer, the polyethylene layer is extrusion laminated directly or through the anchor coating agent layer to the substrate layer, and the polypropylene layer is superimposed on the side opposite to the substrate layer as viewed from the polyethylene layer. A packaging material of a multilayer film provided with a layer structure which is laminated and formed as the outermost layer can be considered. Since the polyethylene layer has high adhesion to the base layer, the interlayer adhesion strength required for the packaging material can be obtained between the polyethylene layer and the base layer. However, in such a layer configuration, the heat seal layer of the outermost layer of the laminated film becomes a polypropylene layer, and the polyethylene layer is disposed on the inner layer side. A package having a polypropylene layer as a heat seal layer has a melting point of polypropylene higher than that of polyethylene, so depending on the heating conditions at the time of heat sealing, the polyethylene layer on the inner layer may be melted first to make delamination difficult. In some cases, it may be difficult to obtain sufficient bonding strength between layers. Therefore, at the time of manufacture of a package, the suitable condition range of the heating temperature at the time of heat sealing and heating time was narrow, and it was difficult to raise the line speed of a packaging machine.
In contrast, the packaging material of the present invention comprises an anchor coating agent layer using a specific anchor coating agent containing a copolymer of polypropylene and an unsaturated carboxylic acid component, and the polypropylene component of this anchor coating agent layer The polypropylene of the extrusion-laminated delamination layer is compatible and can be firmly adhered. Therefore, the extrusion-laminated polypropylene layer and the base material layer provide the interlayer adhesion strength required for the packaging material. In addition, by adhering a polypropylene layer having a layer thickness of less than 20 μm, which was difficult in dry lamination, to the base material layer via the anchor coating agent layer, packaging processability such as bending of the packaging material can be improved. Since a polyethylene layer can be used for the outermost seal layer, the suitable condition range of heating temperature at the time of heat sealing and heating time is wide at the time of manufacture of the package. Furthermore, since it can be made to delaminate between a polypropylene layer and the outermost layer, for example, a polyethylene layer, stable opening strength can be obtained without depending on heating temperature and heating time, and it is excellent in easy opening property. ing.
Polypropylene of the polyolefin component can be roughly classified into homopolypropylene consisting of homopolymer, random polypropylene consisting of random copolymer, and block polypropylene consisting of block copolymer, and adhesion between the
Examples of unsaturated carboxylic acid components include acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, maleic acid and maleic anhydride.

Moreover, it is preferable that the density of at least 1 type chosen from low density polyethylene, medium density polyethylene, and high density polyethylene is 0.925-0.970 g / cm < 3 >.

In the present invention, since the delamination between the

In the

Derivatives of unsaturated carboxylic acids include, for example, maleic anhydride, maleic acid monoester, maleic acid diester, itaconic acid monoester Itaconic acid diesters, itaconic anhydride, fumaric acid monoesters, fumaric acid diesters and the like. Among these, maleic anhydride is preferable because the heat resistance of the resulting ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin composition is improved.
The amount of unsaturated carboxylic acid and / or derivative thereof in the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is preferably 0.01 to 2.0% by mass because heat resistance is improved.
Further, the heat seal agent of the heat seal layer 7 preferably contains a polyamide resin in order to prevent blocking. The polyamide resin is a thermoplastic polyamide which can be obtained by polycondensation of an amine and an acid. As the amine, for example, hexamethylenediamine can be used, and as the acid, for example, adipic acid, sebacic acid And trimellitic anhydride, dimer acid and the like can be used, and further, as those having both an amine and an acid, there are 11-aminoundecanoic acid, 12-aminododecanoic acid and the like, and a polyamide resin combining these It can be used.
[Method of manufacturing packaging material]
Next, the manufacturing method of the packaging material of this invention is demonstrated. One example of the method for producing the package of the present invention is an aqueous dispersion containing a polyolefin resin on one surface of a substrate, wherein the polyolefin resin is a copolymer of a polyolefin component and an unsaturated carboxylic acid component. And after the polyolefin component is coated with an anchor coating agent which is propylene and dried to form an anchor coating agent layer, the release coating layer is formed by melt coextrusion on the surface of the anchor coating agent layer. , And the seal layer are formed by laminating one on another in that order. In addition, a water repellent coating agent and a heat sealing agent are separately coated on another surface of the substrate to form a water repellent coating layer and a heat seal layer, respectively.
As the method for applying the anchor coating agent described above as the anchor coating agent layer, a known application method can be performed. After application, the aqueous medium is evaporated by a drying treatment to obtain an anchor coating agent layer. The drying conditions are not particularly limited, but may be appropriately selected as a heating temperature of 40 to 200 ° C. and a heating time of 1 to 600 seconds.
The application amount of the anchor coating agent is preferably 0.001 to 5 g / m 2 in terms of the dry weight of the anchor coating agent with respect to the application surface. Sufficient adhesion can be economically obtained when the amount of the anchor coating agent is in the range of 0.001 to 5 g / m 2 .
The delamination layer can be formed on the anchor coating agent layer by extrusion lamination. The seal layer can also be formed on the delamination layer by extrusion lamination. In particular, it is preferable to simultaneously form the delamination layer and the seal layer on the anchor coating agent layer by melt co-extrusion. Thereby, the packaging material of the present invention can be manufactured with high productivity, and the layer thickness can be made thinner than the method of bringing the interlayer peeling layer and the sealing layer into close contact by dry lamination. The thin layer thickness of the delamination layer and the sealing layer can improve the bending processability when the content is sealed in the packaging material to manufacture the package.
The water repellent coating layer is formed by applying a varnish containing the above-mentioned resin or one obtained by adding polyethylene tetrafluoroethylene particles to the varnish to the surface of the substrate layer by an appropriate coating method such as gravure printing or silk screen printing. be able to. Before coating, the surface of the base material layer is preferably subjected to surface treatment such as corona treatment, ozone treatment, or flame treatment.
The heat seal layer can be formed by applying a varnish containing the above heat seal agent to the surface of the substrate layer by an appropriate coating method such as gravure printing or silk screen printing. Before coating, the surface of the base material layer is preferably subjected to surface treatment such as corona treatment, ozone treatment, or flame treatment.
The heat seal layer is partially formed on the surface of the base material layer in the area to be heat sealed in the package. Such partial formation can be performed by an appropriate coating method such as gravure printing or silk screen printing described above. On the surface of the base layer, the above-described water repellent coating layer is formed in the region other than the heat seal layer. Such separate application of the heat seal layer and the water repellent coating layer on the surface of the base material layer can also be performed by an appropriate application method such as the above-described gravure printing or silk screen printing.

<Water repellant evaluation>
The water repellency of each package after packaging and filling was evaluated by two test methods. First, it measured by the contact angle method based on JISR3257. Next, a 0.1 ml water droplet was dropped on a friction angle measuring device according to JIS P8147, and the angle at which the water droplet slipped was measured when the water droplet was inclined. The results are shown in Table 1.
In the paired comparison of Table 1 to Example 1 and Comparative Example 1, no difference was found in the contact angle, but in the inclination method, a difference in water repellency was observed, and Comparative Example 1 in which the composition was 5: 5 The aqueous was found to be inferior.
<Seal strength measurement>
In order to measure the seal strength of the area corresponding to the side seal portion of the packaging material of the laminates of Examples 1 and 2 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2, the heat seal layer of the sample of each laminate was placed inside. The heat seal layers were brought into contact with each other, pressed at 1 kgf / cm 2 and sealed for 1 second at various temperatures from 110 ° C. to 180 ° C. in 10 ° C. steps. The strength of the sealed portion was measured at 25 ° C. in an atmosphere at a temperature of 50 mm / min according to JIS K 6854, and the peeled state was observed. The seal strength can be said to be good if it is in the range of 2.0 to 3.0 N / 15 mm. The results are shown in Table 2. The unit of seal strength in the table is N / 15 mm.
From Table 2, sufficient strength was obtained at 130 ° C. or higher in Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2, and because PP / PE interlayer was peeled off between the delamination layer and the seal layer. The temperature range of peeling was wide. On the other hand, the comparative example 3 performed condensation peeling at 110-140 degreeC, and the comparative example 4 at 110-140 degreeC. Moreover, Comparative Example 4 was insufficient in sealability.
<Filling test>
Using a packaging and filling machine (FP2000 manufactured by natec), a cheese-packed package was produced, which was melted at 80 ° C. in the packaging material of the laminate of Example 1 and Comparative Example 1. At the time of production of the package, the side seal was performed under the two conditions of the rotation speed of the seal bar of the device of 400 rpm and 1000 rpm. It means that the production speed of a package is high, so that rotation speed is high. The seal temperature of the side seal was 150 ° C.
About the water repellency of each package after packing and filling, drop 0.1 ml water drop on the friction angle measurement machine of JIS P8147, measure the angle that the water drop slides down when applying inclination, and the angle is good as 20 degrees or less did.
The side seal portion of each package after filling in the package was cut into a strip having a width of 15 mm, and in accordance with JIS K 6854, the interlayer adhesion strength was measured under an atmosphere of 25 ° C. with a tensile speed of 50 mm / min. Moreover, the peeling form of the peeled laminated body after a test was confirmed.
The results are shown in Table 3. The unit of seal strength in the table is N / 15 mm.
From Table 3, in Examples 1 to 3, good water repellency, high seal strength, and easy openability by delamination were obtained.
On the other hand, Comparative Example 1 was inferior in water repellency, so that it was not possible to stack due to water repellency failure at high speed rotation. In Comparative Example 2, the heat resistance of the water repellent varnish was inferior, and the water repellent was taken on the heat plate, resulting in water repellent failure. In Comparative Example 3, since the seal temperature was insufficient, delamination did not occur, and the seal surface became cohesive. Comparative Example 4 was poor in high-speed filling suitability, and the seal strength was not stable.
