Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a conventional keyboard input mode makes it easier to bend the elbow portion of an arm, so the posture of sitting in the chair tends to be stooping and undesirable from a health point of view.SOLUTION: Keys of a keyboard (0101) are arranged downwards, and a key input operation is configured to take input posture so that a palm of a hand is directed upward (0102) and an elbow comes to an underside of an arm. A figure is a diagram showing a state where it is easy to take a correct posture when using a keyboard of the present invention. As shown in this figure, since the palm is facing upwards, the elbow is arranged substantially downward. It is difficult to open the elbows to both sides. Opening the elbows on both sides will make correct key operation impossible. In this state it is difficult for the body to slouch forward. Accordingly, since an appropriate distance can be maintained also with respect to a display (0103), eye fatigue, such as dry eye, can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

Description

The present invention relates to a keyboard.

The keyboard is used for key input by pointing the back of the hand up, the palm down, and hitting the keyboard face facing up.

特開平7−182083Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-182083

Conventional keyboards tend to sit down in a chair and are unhealthy or unattractive. This is because it is easy to bend the elbow portion of the arm because it is easy to spread the elbow in the left and right direction with the conventional keyboard strike method.

The keys of the keyboard are arranged downward, and the key input operation is configured such that the palm is facing upward and the input posture is such that the elbow is under the arm. In this position, the elbow is naturally placed in front of its chest, making it difficult for the elbow to bend.

It makes it easier to maintain the correct posture while operating the keyboard.

A diagram showing the posture when the keyboard of the present invention is used A diagram showing an attitude when using an upward facing keyboard different from the present invention Conceptual perspective view of the present invention Figure showing the direction of the hand when using the present invention Image figure when using this invention

FIG. 1 is a view showing a state in which it is easy to take a correct posture when using the keyboard (0101) of the present invention. As shown in this figure, since the palm is input upward (0102), the elbow is placed almost downward. It is difficult to open the elbows on both sides. If you open your elbows on both sides, you will not be able to press the keys correctly. In this state, the body is less likely to lean forward. Therefore, eye fatigue, eg, dry eye, can also be reduced since an appropriate distance can be maintained for the display (0103).
FIG. 2 shows the usage of the conventional keyboard (0201) for reference. As shown in this figure, the keys are arranged upward, and in the posture in which the palm is turned down (0202) to operate, the elbows are completely shifted downward to the left or right. That is, it is slightly inclined to the left and right as compared with the operation posture of the present invention. In this case, the body is likely to lean forward and the posture tends to deteriorate. In this case, the display (0203) may be approached more than necessary, which may cause eye fatigue.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing an example of the keyboard of the present invention. As shown in this figure, the keyboard (0301) of the present invention has a key (0302) with the touch surface facing downward, a key arrangement base (0303) for arranging the key, and a palm facing the key. And a stand (0304a 0304b) for creating an operation space for inserting a hand upward. An interface is also provided for transmitting key input signals to the computer. For example, a USB connector (0305) or near field wireless communication. The key is structurally equivalent to a normal key, and the key input is performed by the contact pressure. However, since there is a drop due to the weight of the key itself which is downward, it may be better to increase the spring multiplier between the key and the key arrangement base than in the past. FIG. 4 is a diagram showing the orientation of the hand and the positional relationship of the fingers when using the keyboard of the present invention. As shown in this figure, the finger arrangement is reversed from that of the upward keyboard strike. Therefore, the character arrangement of the keys is different from the conventional key arrangement, in which the thumb operation keys are arranged on the left and right sides and the little finger operation side is arranged in the center.
In addition, stands that create an operation space for inserting the hand with the palm facing upward are required at least on both sides of the key operation surface. There is individual difference in the appropriate height, but 7 cm to 10 cm is recommended. The height of the stand is preferably adjustable.

FIG. 5 is an image of using the keyboard (0501) of the present invention. As shown in this figure, it is preferable that at least a part of the key layout base and the key is transparent so that the key and the hand (0502) inserted into the operation space can be viewed from the upper surface . It is better to be able to see which key to aim at. Of course, it is preferable that the key be provided with a three-dimensional marker to indicate the standard arrangement of the finger. Specifically, to achieve this, a key or key arrangement base is made of a transparent plastic material, and it is realized by using a transparent electrode or a transparent conductive line. The material is an ITO material or the like. However, since the area occupied by the conductive wire is small, even if it is actually formed of a copper wire or the like, the visibility is not greatly affected.
Furthermore, it is convenient if the stand can be folded and stored so as to overlap the key arrangement base. It is because it becomes space saving at the time of non-use. Specifically, it is conceivable to connect the stand and the key arrangement base by a mechanism having a hinge function. The stand may also be disposed across the back side of the inserted hand, ie, the bottom. The bottom surface may be provided with a heater function. Also, the hand-contacting surface may be made of a slippery material for the hand.
Furthermore, it may be the downward keyboard described in any one of the above-mentioned ones provided with another keyboard also on the upper surface of the key layout base, or the downward keyboard in which the other keyboard is also at least partially transparent. In addition, it may have a touch pad, and may be disposed on either the upper surface or the lower surface.

The present invention can be used for a keyboard.
