Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for manufacturing a panel having a character line.
In recent years, as one means for realizing high design of the exterior design of a car, for example, the outer panel of a vehicle body such as a door outer panel, fender panel, side panel, hood outer panel, rear gate outer etc. It is known to set up a character line. In particular, it is often used to provide a character line on a panel disposed on the side of the vehicle body.
However, it is known that when the character line is provided on the panel, a line displacement which is a defect in the outer surface quality is generated. In particular, if the character line is sharp, line deviation is likely to occur. The character line being sharp means that the radius of curvature of the ridgeline of the character line is, for example, as small as 10 mm or less, or that the sandwiching angle between the two surfaces forming the ridgeline is, for example, as small as 150 ° or less. .
1 (a) and 1 (b) are cross-sectional views for schematically explaining the occurrence of line displacement when the conventional
The occurrence of line displacement is considered to be the cause of occurrence of highlight breakage (deterioration in outer plate surface quality) at the portion where line displacement occurs in the highlight surface inspection of the panel. On the other hand,
In the invention disclosed in
The present invention has been made in view of the problems of the prior art, and has an object of suppressing or substantially eliminating line displacement of a panel having a character line without causing wrinkles.
As described above, the misalignment of the panel having the character line is caused by the fact that the bending wedge generated in the blank due to the mold (punch) in the initial stage of forming moves outward from the character line along the inclined surface during forming. It is considered to occur. For this reason, in order to suppress the line displacement, it is effective to (i) suppress the occurrence of the bending weir and (ii) to hold the generated bending weir without moving it to the outside of the character line. The present inventors earnestly studied about the above (i) and (ii), and as a result, obtained the following findings A to C and completed the present invention.
(A) In the punch, a high surface pressure generating portion (a convex portion for forming a character line) which applies a high surface pressure to the blank from the start of the forming to the completion of forming and a surface pressure which the high surface pressure generating portion applies to the blank There is a lower contact pressure generating portion which applies a lower contact pressure to the blank. In order to relieve the surface pressure in the high surface pressure generation part, a die slide mechanism for moving the die in the lateral direction is installed, and the die is brought into contact with the end side of the blank at the start of forming to punch in the initial stage By making the bending deformation of the blank by the tip portion gentle, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of bending flaws caused by the initial contact of the punch and the blank. Then, by sliding the die in the lateral direction during press processing, the material is drawn to the character line side to form a character line. This makes it difficult for the bending rod to move from the character line.
(B) It is possible to further suppress the occurrence of bending flaws by sliding not only the die facing the surface on the side of the line displacement occurrence of the blank but also the die opposite to the surface on the side opposite to the line displacement occurrence side .
(C) Depending on the shape of the character line of the panel, high design of the panel can be realized by optimally designing the R shape of the divided surface of the die without designing the shape of the punch and the shape of the die in the same shape.
That is, the present invention for solving the above problems comprises a punch and a plurality of dies configured to move in the vertical direction opposite to the punch, and disposed between the punch and the plurality of dies. A manufacturing apparatus for pressing a blank and manufacturing a panel having a character line consisting of ridge lines sandwiched by at least two surfaces, wherein a die facing the surface on which the line deviation occurs in the blank is in the pressing direction. It is characterized in that a die slide mechanism is provided which is advanced in the direction perpendicular to the pressing direction while moving, to the direction of the punch tip end side.
The term "surface on the side of line displacement generation" according to the present invention refers to a surface on which line displacement assumed from the shape of a panel having a character line can occur. For example, when manufacturing a panel having a character line having a shape as shown in FIG. 1 (b), of the two sides of the blank constituting the character line, the side to the right of the left side in the drawing is pressing The tension in the For this reason, it is possible to assume on which surface the line deviation occurs in the case where the line deviation occurs at the stage before the press working.
Even if another die slide mechanism is provided which advances the die facing the surface other than the line displacement occurrence side of the blank in the direction perpendicular to the press direction while moving the die in the press direction, the die is advanced toward the punch tip end side. good.
In the punch and the die, the clearance between the punch and the die when the press die is closed is larger than the thickness before processing of the blank at the tip of the punch and separates from the tip of the punch It may have a shape which becomes gradually smaller according to and becomes smaller than the thickness of the blank before processing.
The invention according to another aspect uses a punch and a plurality of dies configured to move up and down opposite the punch, and a press for a blank disposed between the punch and the plurality of dies. A method of manufacturing a panel having a character line comprising a ridge line sandwiched by at least two surfaces by processing, the plurality of dies being moved in the press direction, the dies being in contact with the blank After that, while moving the die opposite to the surface on the side of the line displacement of the blank in the press direction, the die is advanced in the direction perpendicular to the press direction to the side of the punch tip to perform press processing And
The line displacement of the panel having the character line can be suppressed or substantially eliminated without the occurrence of wrinkles.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the following embodiment, the character line of the panel is composed of two surfaces. Further, in the present specification and the drawings, in elements having substantially the same functional configuration, the same reference numerals will be attached to omit redundant description.
First Embodiment
As shown in FIG. 2, the
The die 4 is divided into two dies such as a
The
It is desirable that the moving distance from the initial position of the
The
First, the
Thereafter, when the
As described above, according to the
Second Embodiment
As shown in FIGS. 4 (a) and 4 (b), in the
The second
According to the
Third Embodiment
Similar to the second embodiment, the
When pressing is performed with the
In the first to third embodiments, molding of a character line configured by being sandwiched between two surfaces has been described, but three or more press processes as in the first to third embodiments are performed. The present invention can also be applied to forming a character line composed of faces. In that case, the die 4 facing the
Further, in the present embodiment, pressing such as draw forming or stretch forming is performed using the
As mentioned above, although embodiment of this invention was described, this invention is not limited to this example. It is apparent that those skilled in the art can conceive of various changes or modifications within the scope of the technical idea described in the claims, and the technical scope of the present invention is also natural for them. It is understood to belong to
In order to examine the effect of the press working according to the present invention, a forming test was performed using a blank having a width of 100 mm and a length of 300 mm, which is made of a plated steel sheet having a thickness of 0.7 mm and a tensile strength of 270 MPa. The apparatus of the structure shown in FIG. 2 was used as a manufacturing apparatus of the panel based on this invention. The slide distance (moving distance in the direction perpendicular to the pressing direction) of the die facing the surface on the side of the line displacement of the blank was 100 mm. In addition, the cross-sectional shape of the panel after shaping | molding is as showing in FIG. 6, and the curvature radius of a character line is 5 mm. Also, the radius of curvature of the punch tip is 5 mm.
In addition, as a comparative example, a forming test was performed using the same material and the same size blank. For comparison with the above example, a conventional die without die slide mechanism was used.
After the forming test, the evaluation of the line deviation was carried out by calculating the line deviation evaluation value which is the product of the height and the length of the line deviation generated around the character line for each panel obtained by press working. The panel obtained by the manufacturing apparatus according to the present invention had a line displacement evaluation value of 0.8, and no line displacement could be confirmed even by visual evaluation. In the panel of the comparative example, the line displacement evaluation value was 2.2, and a clear line displacement could be confirmed also in the visual evaluation. That is, by providing the elastic body at the tip of the punch, it was possible to suppress the line displacement at the time of molding of the character line.
