即ち、本発明は、走行中の除雪車から路上に融雪剤Ｄを散布するための融雪剤散布装置において、上部に前記融雪剤Ｄの収容部11を備え、かつ、下部に融雪剤Ｄの吐出部12を備えたホッパー１と；このホッパー１の収容部11と吐出部12の間に設けられた薬剤排出装置２と；下部に基端側から先端側に向けて下るスロープ面31を有し、かつ、このスロープ面31が前記ホッパー１の吐出部12の下方にくるように配置された薬剤拡散板３とを含んで構成し、前記薬剤排出装置２によりホッパー１内に収容された融雪剤Ｄが吐出部12から放出されたとき、放出された融雪剤Ｄが薬剤拡散板３のスロープ面31上でスロープ面31の横幅方向に拡散しつつ下方に落下することで、融雪剤を轍部分に散布するようにした点に特徴がある(図１、図２参照)。
