第1層10Aの繊維間距離と第2層10Bの繊維間距離との差は、前者−後者として、好ましくは5μm以上、さらに好ましくは15μm以上、そして、好ましくは35μm以下、さらに好ましくは30μm以下である。両者の繊維間距離の差が大きすぎると、第1層10Aでの毛管力の低下及び第2層10Bでの吸汗容量の減少により吸汗性能が低下するおそれがある。繊維間距離は、下記式(1)により求めることができる。
