前記伝送システムにおいて、前記受信装置は、DTCP2のL2−Onlyフラグに対応する制御情報、DTCP2のEIフラグに対応する制御情報、DTCP2のHDRフラグに対応する制御情報、およびDTCP2のSDOフラグに対応する制御情報のいずれも取得しない受信装置であり、
前記受信ステップにおいて受信した前記コンテンツがいずれの解像度であっても、前記伝送システムにおける前記コンテンツのコピー制御状態がいずれの状態であっても、前記コンテンツを解像度変換せずにそのまま前記インタフェースを介してDTCP2によるコンテンツの保護を行って前記出力ステップで出力するときはDTCP2のL2−Onlyフラグの1ビットが示す値を0に固定して出力するものであり、前記インタフェースを介してDTCP2によるコンテンツの保護を行って前記出力ステップで出力するときのDTCP2のL2−Onlyフラグの1ビットが示す値、DTCP2のEIフラグの1ビットが示す値、DTCP2のHDRフラグの1ビットが示す値、およびDTCP2のSDOフラグの1ビットが示す値の組み合わせは16よりも少ないものであり、
