近年、医療現場での衛生面を向上させようと口腔外バキュームやエアークリーナーなどいろいろなアイデアが試行錯誤されている。
しかしながら既製のどのクリーンBOXや集塵機おいてもジェット・エアーカーテン噴射装置を備えた集塵機がないのが現状である。

また吸引による気流の力だけを利用している集塵機は、気流の力が比較的弱く切削時に勢いづいた切削片の一部が集塵されなく部屋に飛び散ることがあった。
本発明は、切削や研磨作業時に発生する粉塵をジェット・エアーの力を利用して気流を川の流れのようにつくり集塵し、切削物の視認性の向上とエアーカーテン効果による切削粉の飛散防止を同時に行うことのできる集塵機を提供するものである。

今回開発したジェット・エアーカーテン噴射装置付き集塵機を使用することにより切削や研磨時に発生した粉塵を率良く集塵ことができ、また切削物の視認性を向上させ作業効率が上がると共に医院内の衛生環境が清潔に保たれるものと考えられる。
