Abstract
Description
本願は、米国仮特許出願第62/067,698号(2014年10月23日出願)の利益およびそれに対する優先権を主張し、上記出願の全開示は、参照により本明細書に引用される。
加えて、縦軸「B」を中心とする細長いシャフト12の回転は、隣接する膨張可能部材180(例えば、軸方向に整列させられ、半径方向に隣接する、膨張可能部材180)の連続的な膨張および/または収縮によって遂行され得ることが想定される。例えば、細長いシャフト12の回転は、最初に、膨張可能部材180aをある量だけ(例えば、特定の体積および/または特定の持続時間だけ)膨張させる一方、膨張可能部材180bを収縮させ、次いで、膨張可能部材180cを膨張させる一方、膨張可能部材180aを収縮させ、次いで、膨張可能部材180bを膨張させる一方、膨張可能部材180cを収縮させることによって、遂行され得る。加えて、半径方向に整列させられ、軸方向にオフセットされた膨張可能部材(例えば、180a、180dおよび180g;180b、180e、および180h、ならびに180c、180f、および180i)は、並行して膨張および/または収縮され、縦軸「B」を中心とした細長いシャフト12の回転を促進することができることが想定される。
Claims (16)
- 外科手術用器具との使用のための外科手術用ポートアセンブリであって、前記ポートアセンブリは、
外部表面および内部表面を含む本体であって、前記内部表面は、内部空間を画定し、前記内部空間は、外科手術用器具がそれを通過することを可能にするように構成されている、本体と、
前記本体に結合された複数の膨張可能部材を含む制御インターフェースと
を備え、
複数の膨張可能部材は、前記外科手術用器具のシャフトが前記内部空間内に配置されているとき、前記シャフトの一部に力を選択的に加えるように膨張可能であり、前記複数の膨張可能部材の各々は、独立して選択的に膨張可能であることにより、前記外科手術用器具の遠位部分を所望の位置に移動させる、外科手術用ポートアセンブリ。 - 前記複数の膨張可能部材のうちの少なくとも1つは、前記本体の縦軸と垂直な方向に前記外科手術用器具に力を加えるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の外科手術用ポートアセンブリ。
- 前記複数の膨張可能部材のうちの少なくとも1つは、摩擦増強材料を含む、請求項1に記載の外科手術用ポートアセンブリ。
- 各膨張可能部材の大部分は、第1の材料から作製され、前記摩擦増強材料は、前記第1の材料と異なる、請求項3に記載の外科手術用ポートアセンブリ。
- 前記複数の膨張可能部材は、9つの膨張可能部材を含む、請求項1に記載の外科手術用ポートアセンブリ。
- 前記9つの膨張可能部材は、第1の組の3つの軸方向に整列させられた膨張可能部材と、第2の組の3つの軸方向に整列させられた膨張可能部材と、第3の組の3つの軸方向に整列させられた膨張可能部材とを含む、請求項5に記載の外科手術用ポートアセンブリ。
- 前記9つの膨張可能部材は、第1の組の3つの半径方向に整列させられた膨張可能部材と、第2の組の3つの半径方向に整列させられた膨張可能部材と、第3の組の3つの半径方向に整列させられた膨張可能部材とを含む、請求項5に記載の外科手術用ポートアセンブリ。
- 外科手術用システムであって、
本体および制御インターフェースを含む外科手術用ポートアセンブリであって、前記本体は、外部表面および内部表面を含み、前記内部表面は、内部空間を画定し、前記内部空間は、外科手術用器具がそれを通過することを可能にするように構成され、前記制御インターフェースは、前記本体に結合された複数の膨張可能部材を含み、前記複数の膨張可能部材は、前記外科手術用器具のシャフトが前記内部空間内に配置されているとき、前記シャフトの一部に力を選択的に加えるように膨張可能であり、前記複数の膨張可能部材の各々は、独立して選択的に膨張可能であることにより、前記外科手術用器具の遠位部分を所望の位置に移動させる、外科手術用ポートアセンブリと、
内視鏡カメラであって、その一部は、体腔内に位置付け可能であり、前記外科手術用器具の遠位部分を視認するように構成されている、内視鏡カメラと、
前記外科手術用ポートアセンブリおよび前記内視鏡カメラと動作可能に係合するように配置されている制御機構であって、前記制御機構は、前記複数の膨張可能部材の膨張および収縮を制御するように構成されている、制御機構と
を備えている、外科手術用システム。 - 前記制御機構は、前記内視鏡カメラから受信される情報に応答して、前記複数の膨張可能部材の各々の膨張および収縮を制御するように構成されている、請求項8に記載の外科手術用システム。
- 前記複数の膨張可能部材の各々と個々に流体連通するように配置されている膨張媒体をさらに備えている、請求項8に記載の外科手術用システム。
- 前記膨張媒体は、前記制御機構と動作可能に通信するように配置されている、請求項10に記載の外科手術用システム。
- 前記複数の膨張可能部材のうちの少なくとも1つは、摩擦増強材料を含む、請求項8に記載の外科手術用システム。
- 各膨張可能部材の大部分は、第1の材料から作製され、前記摩擦増強材料は、前記第1の材料と異なる、請求項12に記載の外科手術用システム。
- 前記複数の膨張可能部材は、9つの膨張可能部材を含む、請求項8に記載の外科手術用システム。
