  According to embodiments, a toy is disclosed, the toy including a first profile (figure) configured to form part of a reversible toy, the profile substantially having a top and a base.   Further, in embodiments, the double cone shape provides structural support to the toy. When the toy is positioned so that only one profile is exposed, a larger sized base relative to the top of the outer profile helps to prevent the toy from collapsing or tilting.

  In embodiments, one or both contours include a head, optionally filled with padding, located on top of the contour. For example, padding, appendages, or additional character features can obscure the outer conical appearance of the toy, while maintaining that the toy 10 can be flipped over as described herein.   As shown in FIG. 6, in the embodiment, the contour is made by an inner lining 26. In some embodiments, the lining 26 may comprise cotton, poly-fill, or any other soft material or combination of materials. The lining can add the touch of a soft plush toy. The lining can also provide additional structural support to the toy and reinforce the outer double-cone shape.   7 to 8 show a reversible toy embodiment 10 in which two outer shapes 12a and 12b are detachably connected.   10-13 illustrate a reversible toy embodiment 10 that includes a stiffener, such as a grab ring 22. The grab ring 22 is disposed at the junction between the two outer shapes 12a, 12b, and is the base 20 of the toy when one outer shape is housed inside the other. The grab ring 22 provides a gripping location for the user when turning the toy upside down and helps prevent the opening in the base 20 from collapsing. This facilitates flipping one outer shape to another. The grab ring 22 further provides structural support to the toy 10 to facilitate ease of overturning and to help the toy 10 sit straight. The grab ring 22 of the embodiment shown in FIGS. 10 and 11A is made from a string material. FIG. 11B shows an embodiment where the grab ring 22 comprises a plastic or rubber material. In embodiments, the grab ring 22 may comprise any of nylon, rubber, yarn, polypropylene, metal, fabric, or any other suitable material. In the illustrated embodiment, the grabbing material is added to the base 20 of the toy 10. However, in other embodiments, the grab ring may be constructed using a material integrated into the toy 10. The grab ring 22 need not be visible outside the toy 10. For example, in an embodiment, the grab ring 22 is integrated into the base 20 so that the grab ring 22 is covered by fabric or otherwise invisible to the user.

  FIG. 12A illustrates a reversible toy embodiment 10 in which the grab ring 22 includes a fabric. In this embodiment, the grab ring 22 is constructed by stitching the fabric to create a lip or end around the base 20 of the toy 10.
