Description

The present invention relates to a light guide used for interior of a vehicle, a decorative part, and a vehicle interior.

Conventionally, a specification called piping has been adopted for vehicle interior parts such as instrument panels and door trims in order to enhance nighttime decoration and produce a high-class feeling. A vehicle interior product subjected to this piping is disclosed in Patent Document 1, for example. The piping disclosed in Patent Document 1 includes a flexible linear light guide (linear light-emitting tube), and an LED (Light Emitting Diode) is attached to an end of the linear light guide in the longitudinal direction. The light emitted from the LED is advanced into the linear light guide so that the linear light guide is lit throughout.

As disclosed in Patent Document 1, if the entire linear light guide is lit only by the light from the LED attached to the end portion in the longitudinal direction of the linear light guide, the linear guide is moved away from the LED. Since the light traveling in the light body is attenuated, it is inevitable that the luminance when the linear light guide is shined is lowered at a position far from the LED. For this reason, the length of the linear light guide is limited when trying to ensure the uniformity of luminance.

Therefore, in order to ensure the uniformity of luminance throughout the entire length of the linear light guide, a configuration in which a plurality of LEDs are provided along the longitudinal direction on the outer periphery of the linear light guide is adopted. Can be considered. However, in such a configuration, when the LED is simply disposed immediately below the linear light guide attached to the vehicle interior product, the light emitting portion of the LED is visually recognized from the outside via the linear light guide, When the linear illuminant is lit, the light emitting portion of the LED is conspicuous, and the brightness unevenness is conspicuous. Further, since the LED itself is visually recognized through the linear light guide even when the linear light emitter is not illuminated, the appearance of the vehicle interior product is deteriorated.

The present invention has been made in view of such a point, and an object of the present invention is to improve the uniformity of luminance when the light guide is illuminated and to prevent the light source from being visually recognized. .

In order to achieve the above object, in the present invention, the configuration of the light guide is devised so that the light source is provided at a position where the light source is not visually recognized from the outside.

Specifically, the present invention comprises a light incident part into which light emitted from a light source is incident, and a linear light emitting part that emits light incident inside from the light incident part to the outside on the outer peripheral surface, The following solution is provided for a resinous light guide that is mounted with the light emitting portion along the surface of the vehicle interior, a decorative body including the light guide, and the vehicle interior.

That is, 1st invention is a light guide, Comprising: A light-incidence part has the structure comprised by the convex-shaped piece protruded from the outer peripheral surface of the light emission part. The light incident portion has a shape bent toward the side in the width direction of the light emitting portion, and is inserted into the interior of the vehicle in an attached state with respect to the interior of the vehicle. And 1st invention is located in the location where the protrusion end surface of the light-incidence part is the incident surface of the light from a light source, and shifted | deviated to the side from the insertion part of the said light-incidence part in a vehicle interior goods. Features.

According to a second invention, in the light guide according to the first invention, a plurality of light incident portions are provided along a longitudinal direction of the light emitting portion. The second invention is characterized in that a notch-shaped recess opened in the protruding direction of the light incident portion is formed between adjacent light incident portions.

According to a third invention, in the light guide body according to the first or second invention, an uneven shape that scatters light is formed on the protruding end surface of the light incident portion.

4th invention is a decorative component, Comprising: Any one light guide of 1st-3rd invention, and the translucent sheet-like thing which has the light transmittance which covers the outer peripheral surface of the said light guide. It is characterized by providing.

5th invention is a vehicle interior goods, Comprising: It comprises any one light guide of 1st-3rd invention, or the decorative component of 4th invention, It is characterized by the above-mentioned.

According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, in the vehicle interior product of the fifth aspect, the base material and a skin material covering the base material are provided. The skin material is composed of a plurality of skin members whose end edges are joined together. The light incident portion of the light guide is inserted into the inside at a joint portion between adjacent skin members. The sixth invention is characterized in that the light emitting portion of the light guide is disposed on a joint portion between adjacent skin members.

According to the first invention, the light incident part is constituted by a convex piece having a bent shape projecting from the outer peripheral surface of the light emitting part, the projecting end surface of the light incident part is the light incident surface, and the light incident part is Since the incident surface is located at a position shifted laterally from the insertion portion of the light incident portion in the state of being inserted into the interior of the vehicle interior, a plurality of light sources are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the light guide. When arrange | positioning so that light may be emitted toward the entrance plane of a light-incidence part, these light sources can be provided in the position which is not visually recognized from the inside inside a vehicle interior goods. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the light emitting portion of the light source from conspicuous in the appearance of the light guide, and to improve the uniformity of luminance when the light guide is illuminated. Furthermore, since the light source is not visually recognized through the light guide, the appearance of the vehicle interior can be improved.

According to the second invention, since the light incident part is divided into a plurality of parts and the concave part is provided between the adjacent light incident parts, the light incident part is provided integrally in the longitudinal direction of the light emitting part. Compared with the case where it is made, the bending stress of a light guide can be reduced and it can make it easy to bend and deform a light guide. Thereby, even if the surface of the vehicle interior has a curved shape, it can be attached along the curved shape.

According to the third aspect of the invention, since the light incident on the light incident part is scattered by the uneven shape provided on the protruding end surface, the light from the light source is diffused in the longitudinal direction of the light emitting part and guided. It is possible to further improve the uniformity of brightness when the light body is lit.

According to the fourth invention, since the outer peripheral surface of the light guide is covered with the translucent sheet-like material, a design different from the case where the light guide is exposed and provided in the vehicle interior product can be expressed. . And when the light guide is shining, the light emitted from the outer peripheral surface of the light guide illuminates the interior of the vehicle via the translucent sheet-like material, so that the amount of light is reduced to produce a more luxurious light. be able to.

According to the fifth aspect of the invention, it is possible to realize a vehicle interior product in which the decorativeness is enhanced by the effects of the first to third aspects of the invention or the fourth aspect of the invention and a sense of quality is produced.

According to the sixth invention, since the light emitting portion of the light guide is arranged on the joint portion of the skin member, the joint portion is hidden by the light guide to improve the appearance of the vehicle interior product. Can do.

FIG. 3 shows a cross-sectional view of the upper panel 3 between the portions indicated by arrows III. The light emitting decoration module 11 is a functional part that illuminates the upper panel 3 with a specification called LED piping. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the light emitting decoration module 11 includes an LED unit 45 as a lighting component and a light guide 47 as a decoration component that guides light from the LED unit 45 inside.

The LED unit 45 includes a substrate 49 housed in the concave groove 39 of the base material 5 and a plurality of LEDs 51 as light sources mounted on the substrate 49.

The substrate 49 is an elongated power supply circuit board that extends in the longitudinal direction of the groove portion 39. For example, the substrate 49 is screwed to a boss portion (not shown) provided on the bottom wall portion 41 with respect to the bottom wall portion 41 of the groove portion 39. It is attached by fastening with. A wiring 53 for supplying power to the substrate 49 is drawn out to the back side of the upper panel 3 through a through hole 55 provided in the bottom wall portion 41 of the concave groove portion 39, and is connected to a power source outside the figure.

The LEDs 51 are arranged at predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction of the substrate 49. Each LED 51 is arranged at a position closer to one skin member 23 (second skin member 23B in the example shown in FIG. 2) from the position corresponding to the joint portion 27 of the adjacent skin member 23. That is, the edge portion of the one skin member 23 covers the LED 51 and conceals the LED 51.

The light guide 47 is a resin molded product formed by injection molding or the like, and is made of a transparent resin material such as acrylic polycarbonate (PMMA-PC), polyester resin, polyethylene resin, or nylon. The light guide 47 includes a joint portion 27 between the first skin member 23A, the second skin member 23B, the third skin member 23C, and the fourth skin member 23D, the second skin member 23B, the third skin member 23C, and the second skin member 23C. One (three in total) is provided for each joint portion 27 with the four skin member 23D.

FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional perspective view showing the configuration of the light guide 47. FIG. 5 shows an enlarged perspective view of a main part (light incident part 57) of the light guide 47. As shown in FIG. 4, the light guide 47 has a light incident part 57 into which light emitted from the LED 51 is incident, and a circular linear shape that emits light incident from the light incident part 57 to the outside on the outer peripheral surface. The light emission part 59 is provided.

The light incident portion 57 is configured by a convex piece protruding from the outer peripheral surface of the light emitting portion 59, and a plurality of light incident portions 57 are provided at intervals between each other along the longitudinal direction of the light emitting portion 59. The plurality of light incident portions 57 are arranged in a line in the longitudinal direction of the light emitting portion 59. For example, as many light incident portions 57 as the number corresponding to the LEDs 51 are provided.

Each of these light incident portions 57 is formed in a shape in which a rectangle is added to the short side of the trapezoid in a side view, and has a saw blade shape as a whole. A notch-shaped recess 61 that is open in the protruding direction of the light incident portion 57 is formed between the adjacent light incident portions 57. Further, the light incident portion 57 has an L-shaped cross section that is bent toward the side in the width direction of the light emitting portion 59 in the middle in the protruding direction.

Specifically, the light incident portion 57 is configured by combining a first plate portion 63 and a second plate portion 65 having different angles. The first plate part 63 is a trapezoidal part in a side view in which the long side is directly connected to the light emitting part 57, and extends straight toward the outside in the radial direction of the light emitting part 57. The second plate portion 65 is a rectangular portion in a side view formed at an end portion on the short side of the first plate portion 63, and is straight in a direction that forms an obtuse angle with the first plate portion 63. It extends.

The light incident portion 57 is inserted into the upper panel 3 at the joint portion 27 between the adjacent skin members 23, and is sandwiched between both edge portions where the adjacent skin members 23 are joined. The sewing thread 25 that stitches the edge portions at both ends stitches the edge portions of the adjacent skin members 23 between the adjacent light incident portions 57 of the light guide 47, that is, through the recess 61. Accordingly, the light guide 47 is sewn to the skin material 7 and is sandwiched between both end edges of the adjacent skin member 23 so as not to come out of the joint portion 27.

The projecting end surface 67 of the light incident portion 57, that is, the end surface 67 of the second plate portion 65 on the side opposite to the first plate portion 63 faces the LED 51, and serves as a light incident surface from the LED 51. The protruding end surface 67 is located at a portion where the light incident portion 57 is inserted in the upper panel 3, that is, at a location shifted laterally from the joint portion 27 of the adjacent skin member 23. That is, the protruding end surface 67 is also covered with the skin member 23 by the LED 51.

As shown in FIG. 5, the protruding end surface 67 of the light incident portion 57 is formed in a concave shape that is curved so as to be recessed toward the first plate portion 63 in the length direction of the second plate portion 65. On the protruding end surface 67, a fine uneven shape (not shown) is randomly formed by embossing. Light incident on the light incident portion 57 from the LED 51 is scattered by the uneven shape of the incident surface 67, guided from the second plate portion 65 to the light emitting portion 59 through the first plate portion 63, and the width direction of the light emitting portion 59. And diffused in the longitudinal direction.

The light emitting portion 59 is formed in a single-layer structure having light transmittance, and is disposed on the joint portion 27 of the adjacent skin member 23. The light guide 47 is attached to the skin material 7 with the light emitting portion 59 along the joint portion 27 of the adjacent skin member 23. According to such an arrangement of the light guide 47, the joint portion 27 of the adjacent skin members 23 is hidden by the light emitting portion 59, so that the appearance of the upper panel 3 is improved.

In the light emitting decoration module 11 having the above configuration, when the LED 51 is turned on (emits light), the light from the LED 51 is guided to the light emitting unit 59 and then emitted from the outer peripheral surface of the light emitting unit 59 into the vehicle. A pair of stitch patterns 33 on both sides and the vicinity thereof are illuminated. According to such a lighting effect by the light emitting decoration module 11, it is possible to enhance the decoration of the upper panel 3 at night and produce a high-class feeling.

-Effect of Embodiment 1-
According to the upper panel 3 according to the first embodiment, the light incident portion 57 of the light guide 47 is configured by a convex piece having a bent shape that protrudes from the outer peripheral surface of the light emitting portion 59, and the light incident portion 57 protrudes. The end surface 67 is a light incident surface, and the light incident portion 57 is inserted into the upper panel 3 so that the incident surface is located at a position shifted laterally from the insertion portion of the light incident portion 57. Therefore, the LED 51 can be provided in the space 37 in the upper panel 3 at a position where the light emitting portion is not visually recognized from the outside. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the light emitting portion of the LED 51 from being conspicuous in the appearance of the light guide 47, and to improve the uniformity of luminance when the light guide 47 is illuminated. Furthermore, since the LED 51 is not visually recognized through the light guide 47, the appearance of the upper panel 3 can be improved.

Moreover, according to the upper panel 3 which concerns on this Embodiment 1, among the light guides 47, especially the part arrange | positioned on the junction part 27 of the 2nd skin member 23B, the 3rd skin member 23C, and the 4th skin member 23D Needs to be deformed following the curved surface of the second surface portion 15, but the light incident portion 57 is divided into a plurality of portions, and the concave portions 61 are provided between the adjacent light incident portions 57. Compared to the case where the portion 57 is provided integrally over the entire length of the light emitting portion 59, the bending stress of the light guide 47 is small, so that the light guide 47 is easily bent and deformed. It can be attached along the curved shape.

<< Embodiment 2 of the Invention >>
The upper panel 3 according to the second embodiment is different from the first embodiment in the configuration of decorative parts. In the present embodiment, the upper panel 3 is configured in the same manner as in the first embodiment, except that the configuration of the decorative parts is different from that in the first embodiment. The portions are left to the description of the first embodiment based on FIGS. 1 to 5, and the detailed description thereof is omitted.

In FIG. 6, the cross-sectional perspective view in the attachment state to the skin material 7 of the decorative component which concerns on this Embodiment 2 is shown. In the first embodiment, the light guide 47 itself is a decorative part. However, in the second embodiment, the decorative part 71 has a linear configuration having the same configuration as that of the first embodiment as shown in FIG. In addition to the light guide 47, a translucent sheet-like material 73 covering the outer peripheral surface of the light guide 47 is provided.

The translucent sheet-like material 73 is, for example, a long gray or black cloth material or a resin skin material, and has a punching process in which many fine holes are formed in a portion covering at least the outer peripheral surface of the light guide 47. And has a light-transmitting property of transmitting light through those fine holes. Both end edge portions 75 in the width direction of the translucent sheet-like material 73 are sewn to both end edge portions by sewing threads 25 that sew the end edge portions of the adjacent skin members 23 to each other. Even fixed.

-Effect of Embodiment 2-
According to the upper panel 3 according to the second embodiment, since the outer peripheral surface of the light guide 47 is covered with the translucent sheet-like material 73, it is different from the case where the light guide 47 is exposed and provided on the upper panel 3. Design can be expressed. When the light guide 47 is illuminated, the light emitted from the outer peripheral surface of the light guide 47 illuminates the interior of the vehicle via the translucent sheet-like material 73. Can be produced.

As mentioned above, although preferable embodiment of this invention was described, the technical scope of this invention is not limited to the range as described in each said embodiment. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the above embodiments are exemplifications, and that various modifications, alterations, replacements, additions, omissions, and the like are possible as appropriate, and that such modifications are also within the scope of the present invention. By the way. In addition, the constituent elements described in the accompanying drawings and the detailed description may include constituent elements that are not essential for solving the problem. For this reason, it should not be immediately recognized that these non-essential components are essential because they are described in the accompanying drawings and detailed description.

For example, the following embodiment may be configured as follows.

In Embodiment 1 described above, the light guide 47 has a single-layer structure formed by injection molding or the like, but the present invention is not limited to this. The light guide 47 may be formed by, for example, extrusion molding. In this case, since the light incident portion 57 is integrally formed long in the light guide 47 formed by extrusion molding, the concave portion 61 is formed by cutting out the light incident portion 57.

When the light guide 47 is formed by extrusion, the light guide 47 may be formed in a multi-layer structure. For example, the light emitting part 59 may be formed in a double structure having a core part that forms the center part thereof and an outer layer part that covers the outer periphery of the core part. In that case, the outer layer portion preferably contains a scattering material that scatters light.

According to such a configuration, light can also be diffused by the light emitting unit 59, and the uniformity of the brightness when the light guide 47 is illuminated can be further enhanced.

Moreover, in the said Embodiment 1, although the uneven | corrugated shape which scatters light was formed in the protrusion end surface 67 of the light-incidence part 57 by the roughening process, this invention is not limited to this. The uneven shape may be formed by post-processing such as sandblasting.

In addition, the concave and convex shape is such that the intensity of the light incident from the LED 51 is higher in the central portion than the both side portions in the direction along the concave shape of the protruding end surface 67 of the light incident portion 57, and the central portion is the both side portions. It may be intentionally formed so that the density of the unevenness is higher than that of

According to such a configuration, the light scattering property at the projecting end surface 67 of the light incident portion 57 is enhanced at the central portion of the projecting end surface 67 as compared with the both side portions thereof, so that the luminance is uniform when the light guide 47 is illuminated. Sex can be further enhanced.

In the first embodiment, the light incident portion 57 is bent into an L-shaped cross section. However, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the light incident portion 57 may be formed in a curved shape so as to extend toward the side in the width direction of the light emitting portion 59. In short, the protruding end surface 67 that is a light incident surface is the upper panel. 3 may have a bent shape so as to be located at a position shifted laterally from the insertion portion of the light incident portion 57.

In Embodiment 1 described above, the cushion layer 9 is directly formed between the base material 5 and the skin material 7, but the present invention is not limited to this. The cushion layer 9 is provided by being sandwiched between the base material 5 and the skin material 7 after being molded on the back surface of the skin material 7 or formed separately from the base material 5 or the skin material 7, for example. It may be done.

Moreover, in the said Embodiment 1, although the upper panel 3 demonstrated and demonstrated as an example the form by which the cushion layer 9 was provided between the base material 5 and the skin material 7, this invention is not limited to this. For example, the skin member 7 may be directly bonded to the surface of the base material 5 with an adhesive by appropriately changing the cross-sectional shape of the base material 5.

According to such a configuration, the manufacturing cost can be reduced by the amount that the cushion layer 9 is omitted.

Moreover, in the said Embodiment 1, although the upper panel 3 which comprises the instrument panel 1 was mentioned as an example and demonstrated as a vehicle interior goods which concern on this invention, this invention is not limited to this. The upper panel 3 is merely an example of a vehicle interior product. If the light guide 47 can be mounted with the light emitting portion 59 along the surface with the light incident portion 57 inserted therein, a door trim or glove It can also be used for boxes, pillar garnishes, sheets, and the like.

As described above, the present invention is useful for light guides, decorative parts, and vehicle interior parts used in the interior of vehicles.
