Abstract
Description
〔1〕青果物を包装材で中空に維持し、青果物の周方向から青果物へ波長260nm〜290nmの紫外線を含む光を照射して、青果物の表皮に付着した微生物を殺菌する、青果物の殺菌方法。
〔2〕波長265nmの紫外線を30%以上透過する包装体を用いて青果物を中空に維持する、〔1〕に記載の青果物の殺菌方法。
〔3〕波長265nmの紫外線を反射する面を、包装体内の少なくとも一面に有する、〔1〕または〔2〕に記載の青果物の殺菌方法。
(1)紫外線波長割合の測定
紫外線分光放射照度計(UVpad:株式会社アルゴ)により光源のスペクトルを測定し、得られたスペクトルから260nm〜290nm範囲のスペクトル強度面積と200nm〜440nm範囲のスペクトル強度面積の比を計算した。
(2)包装フィルムの紫外線透過度
島津製作所製分光光度計(UV2600)によりJIS K0115により測定した透過吸収スペクトルから、波長265nmにおける透過度(%T)を求めた。
(3)紫外線の放射照度の測定
光源から5cmの位置に、放射照度測定器(UVC−340およびUVC−254:株式会社カスタム製)の受光器を正対して設置し放射照度を測定した。
(4)青果物の保存試験
包装したいちご20個を10℃、80%RHの条件で7日間保存を行い、7日後にカビの発生率を測定した。
波長265nmの紫外線透過量92%のポリエチレンフィルムを用い、図1の様にイチゴを包装した後、距離5cmの位置から相対するように設置された、二個のUVC−LED光源(波長265nm、波長割合98%、放射照度163μW/cm2(UVC−254)、175μW/cm2(UVC−340)を30秒照射し、殺菌処理を行った。保存したイチゴのカビ発生率は5%未満であった。
成形された、PP製包装容器の底内面にAL箔を貼り付け、反射膜付きの包装容器とした。実施例1と同様の包装したイチゴを包装容器の上にセットし、図3の包装体とした。実施例1の光源1個を高さ5cmから30秒照射し、殺菌処理を行った。保存したイチゴのカビ発生率は5%未満であった。
A−PET製の包装容器上にイチゴを直接置き、実施例2と同様に照射した。保存したイチゴのカビ発生率は10%以上20%未満であった。

- 青果物を包装材で中空に維持し、青果物の周方向から青果物へ波長260nm〜290nmの紫外線を含む光を照射して、青果物の表皮に付着した微生物を殺菌する、青果物の殺菌方法。
- 波長265nmの紫外線を30%以上透過する包装体を用いて青果物を中空に維持する、請求項1に記載の青果物の殺菌方法。
- 波長265nmの紫外線を反射する面を、包装体内の少なくとも一面に有する、請求項1または2に記載の青果物の殺菌方法。
