Description

The present invention relates to a support structure for a steering support member that extends in the vehicle width direction in front of a vehicle cabin and supports a steering.

Patent Document 1 describes a pair of left and right steering support member stays that support a steering support member of a vehicle. A tunnel member for improving the floor rigidity is joined to a center portion in the vehicle width direction of the floor panel of the vehicle. The left and right steering support member stays are attached to the tunnel member via concave floor brackets.

By the way, in order to suppress steering vibration during traveling of the vehicle, it is necessary to sufficiently ensure the rigidity of the steering support member. For this reason, in the case where the left and right steering support member stays and the laterally facing hat-shaped rear interference bracket described in Patent Document 1 cannot sufficiently secure the rigidity of the steering support member, the other is to improve the rigidity of the steering support member. It is conceivable to add a reinforcing member or the like. However, if a reinforcing member is added, the space in the front part of the passenger compartment becomes narrow by that amount, and it may be difficult to effectively use the space in the front part of the passenger compartment.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a support structure for a steering support member that can effectively use the space in the front portion of the passenger compartment and can sufficiently ensure the rigidity of the steering support member.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a support structure for a steering support member that extends in the vehicle width direction at a front portion of a vehicle compartment to support a steering, and includes a pair of left and right vertical stays, a horizontal stay, and a case. With. The left and right vertical stays are located between the upper end of the stay fixed to the steering support member, the lower end of the stay fixed to the floor panel that defines the lower part of the passenger compartment, and the upper end of the stay and the lower end of the stay. And a stay intermediate portion extending in the up-down direction, and spaced apart from each other in the vehicle width direction central portion of the vehicle. Both ends of the horizontal stay are fixed to the middle part of the left and right vertical stays, extend in the vehicle width direction, and connect the left and right vertical stays. The case is integrally formed with a case upper end that contacts the lateral stay from below, a case lower end that contacts the floor panel from above, and a case intermediate portion that extends in the vertical direction and connects the case upper end and the case lower end. And is arranged between the left and right vertical stays and fixed to the horizontal stay and the floor panel, and a storage space for in-vehicle parts is defined between the case upper end and the case lower end.

In the above configuration, the case has a case upper end contacting the lateral stay from below, a case lower end contacting the floor panel from above, and a case intermediate portion extending in the vertical direction to connect the case upper end and the case lower end. Therefore, the case can function as a reinforcing member for the lateral stay, and the rigidity of the lateral stay can be ensured by the case. For this reason, since the support rigidity of the horizontal stay that supports the left and right vertical stays is improved, the support rigidity of the left and right vertical stays that support the steering support member is also improved, and the rigidity of the steering support member can be sufficiently secured. .

In addition, since a case (hereinafter simply referred to as an in-vehicle component case) that divides the storage space for in-vehicle components is disposed between the left and right vertical stays, the space between the left and right vertical stays is provided for in-vehicle components such as controllers and fuses It can be effectively used as an arrangement space.

In addition, when the case of an existing in-vehicle component disposed between the left and right vertical stays is used as a reinforcing member for the horizontal stay, the rigidity of the steering support member can be secured while suppressing an increase in the number of components. The space in the front of the passenger compartment can be effectively used for other purposes as much as the increase in the number of parts is suppressed.

The steering support member support structure may include a pair of left and right brackets. The left and right brackets are fixed to the steering support member and extend downward in the vehicle width direction. The left and right brackets are fixed to the steering support member and bent from the front edge of the bracket side surface to be one side in the vehicle width direction. And a bracket rear surface portion fixed to the steering support member and extending from the rear edge of the bracket side surface portion to the other side in the vehicle width direction. It arrange | positions in the position corresponding to an upper end part. The upper end portions of the left and right vertical stays include a stay side surface portion that intersects the vehicle width direction, a stay front surface portion that bends from the front end edge of the stay side surface portion and extends to one side in the vehicle width direction, and a stay side surface portion. A stay rear surface portion that bends from the rear edge and extends to the other side in the vehicle width direction, the stay front surface abuts on the bracket front surface from one side in the front-rear direction, and the stay rear surface portion front and rear on the bracket rear surface portion It is fixed to the left and right brackets while being in contact with one side of the direction.

In the above configuration, the stay upper ends of the left and right vertical stays are such that the front surface of the stay is in contact with the front surface of the bracket from one side in the front-rear direction and the rear surface of the stay is in contact with the rear surface of the bracket from one side in the front-rear direction. Fixed to the left and right brackets. That is, since the upper end of the stay of the left and right vertical stays can be fixed to the left and right brackets from one side in the front-rear direction, for example, the left and right vertical stays and brackets have a U-shaped cross section. Unlike the left and right vertical stays, the horizontal stay and the case are fixed and unitized, and then the upper end portions of the left and right vertical stays can be fixed to the left and right brackets. In this way, the horizontal stay and case can be fixed to the left and right vertical stays to form a unit and then fixed to the left and right brackets, so that the left and right vertical stays (including the horizontal stay and case) can be attached. Workability is improved.

According to the present invention, it is possible to effectively use the space in the front part of the vehicle compartment and sufficiently ensure the rigidity of the steering support member.

The stay side plate portions 18 of the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 are moved forward along the vehicle width direction outer side surface of the bracket side plate portion 23 of the left and right brackets 21 and 22, so that the stay of the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 is stayed. The front plate part 26 is brought into contact with the bracket front plate part 24 of the left and right brackets 21 and 22 from the rear, and the stay rear plate part 27 of the left and right stay legs 11 and 12 is connected to the bracket rear plate part of the left and right brackets 21 and 22. It is made to contact 25 from back. Then, the stay front plate portion 26 of the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 and the bracket front plate portion 24 of the left and right brackets 21 and 22 are fastened and fixed by bolts 30 and nuts 31. The stay rear plate portion 27 and the bracket rear plate portions 25 of the left and right brackets 21 and 22 are fastened and fixed by bolts 30 and nuts 31, and the stay lower plate portion 28 and the floor panel 6 of the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 are fixed. Are fastened and fixed by bolts and nuts (not shown), and the upper stay plate portions 29 of the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 and the beads 6a of the floor panel 6 are fastened and fixed by bolts and nuts (not shown).

In the support structure of the steering cross member 3 configured as described above, the case upper plate portion 35a of the lower electronic components 14a and 14b is fixed to the lower stay shelf 13b, and the lower electronic components 14a and 14b. The case lower plate portion 35b is fixed to the floor panel 6, and the case front plate portion 35c, the case rear plate portion 35d, and the left and right case side plate portions 35e, 35f of the lower electronic components 14a, 14b are the case upper plate. The part 35a and the case lower plate part 35b are connected. Therefore, the lower stay shelf 13b can be supported and reinforced from below by the case 35 of the lower electronic components 14a and 14b, and the rigidity of the lower stay shelf 13b can be ensured.

Further, the case upper plate portion 35a of the upper electronic components 14c and 14d is fixed to the upper stay shelf portion 13a, and the case lower plate portion 35b of the upper electronic components 14c and 14d is fixed to the lower stay shelf portion 13b. The case front plate portion 35c, the case rear plate portion 35d, and the left and right case side plate portions 35e and 35f of the upper electronic components 14c and 14d connect the case upper plate portion 35a and the case lower plate portion 35b. For this reason, the lower stay shelf 13b and the upper stay shelf 13a can be supported and reinforced by the case 35 of the upper electronic components 14c and 14d, and the lower stay shelf 13b and the upper stay shelf 13b can be reinforced. The rigidity of the shelf 13a can be ensured.

Accordingly, since the support rigidity of the upper and lower stay shelf parts 13a and 13b that support the left and right stay leg parts 11 and 12 is improved, the support rigidity of the left and right stay leg parts 11 and 12 that support the steering cross member 3 is also improved. The rigidity of the steering cross member 3 can be sufficiently secured.

One of the left and right case side plate portions 35e and 35f of each electronic component 14a to 14d is a post-stay plate portion 27 in the lower region 20 of the stay intermediate portion 15 of the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12. Is in contact with the inner end edge 42 in the vehicle width direction. Therefore, the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 can be supported and reinforced by the case 35 of each electronic component 14a to 14d, and the rigidity of the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 can be ensured. Therefore, it is possible to improve the support rigidity of the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 that support the steering cross member 3 and sufficiently ensure the rigidity of the steering cross member 3.

Further, the stay lower end portions 17 of the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 are bent from the lower end of the lower region 20 of the stay intermediate portion 15 and extend rearward along the floor panel 6, and the rear end portions thereof are bolts and nuts (not shown). Is omitted). The fixing member 40 for fixing the lower electronic components 14a and 14b to the floor panel 6 is a front lower portion of the case side plate portion 35e on the inner side in the vehicle width direction of the case 35D (front side of the lower stay shelf portion 13b). ) And fastened to the floor panel 6. Thus, the rear end portion of the stay lower end portion 17 that fixes the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 to the floor panel 6, and the fixing member that fixes the lower electronic components 14 a and 14 b to the floor panel 6. 40 is disposed at different positions in the front-rear direction, so that the support rigidity of the center stay 10 against the force in the front-rear direction can be ensured, and the rigidity of the steering cross member 3 can be sufficiently ensured.

Also, a rear end portion of the stay lower end portion 17 that fixes the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 to the floor panel 6, and a fixing member 40 that fixes the lower electronic components 14 a and 14 b to the floor panel 6. However, since they are arranged at different positions in the vehicle width direction, the support rigidity of the center stay 10 against the force in the vehicle width direction can be ensured, and the rigidity of the steering cross member 3 can be sufficiently ensured.

Also, since the left and right ends of the upper and lower stay shelf portions 13a and 13b are supported by the electronic components 14a to 14d, unlike the case where only the left and right of the upper and lower stay shelf portions 13a and 13b are supported, The upper and lower stay shelves 13a and 13b can be supported with a good left-right balance.

In addition, each of the electronic components 14a to 14d is disposed between the left and right stay legs 11 and 12. Thus, the space between the left and right stay legs 11 and 12 can be used effectively as the arrangement space for the electronic components 14a to 14d having the component main bodies 36 such as controllers and fuses.

In addition, since the case 35 of the component main body 36 such as a controller or fuse, which is an existing on-vehicle component, functions as a reinforcing member for the steering cross member 3, it is possible to secure the rigidity of the steering cross member 3 while suppressing an increase in the number of components. In addition, the space in the front part of the passenger compartment 2 can be effectively used for other purposes as much as the increase in the number of parts is suppressed.

In addition, since the stay upper ends 16 and the left and right brackets 21 and 22 of the left and right stay legs 11 and 12 are formed in a cross-sectional crank shape, the center stay 10 is unitized as described above, and then the left and right stay legs The stay upper end portions 16 of 11 and 12 can be fixed to the left and right brackets 21 and 22 by approaching the left and right brackets 21 and 22 from the rear. For this reason, the workability of the attaching operation of the center stay 10 is improved.

In the present embodiment, the left and right stay legs 11, 12 have a crank-shaped cross section having a stay front plate portion 26, a stay side plate portion 18, and a stay rear plate portion 27 from the stay upper end portion 16 to the stay lower end portion 17. However, at least the stay upper end portions 16 of the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 may be formed in a cross-sectional crank shape.

In the present embodiment, the stay front plate portions 26 of the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 are bent from the front edge of the stay side plate portion 18 and extended outward in the vehicle width direction (one side in the vehicle width direction). The plate portion 27 is bent from the rear end edge of the stay side plate portion 18 and extends inward in the vehicle width direction (the other side in the vehicle width direction), but the stay front plate portion 26 is bent from the front end edge of the stay side plate portion 18. It extends to the vehicle width direction inner side (one side in the vehicle width direction), and the stay rear plate portion 27 may be bent from the rear edge of the stay side plate portion 18 and extend to the vehicle width direction outer side (the other side in the vehicle width direction). . In this case, the bracket front plate portion 24 of the left and right brackets 21 and 22 is bent from the front end edge of the bracket side plate portion 23 to extend inward in the vehicle width direction (one side in the vehicle width direction), and the bracket rear plate portion 25 is It bends from the rear end edge of the bracket side plate portion 23 and extends outward in the vehicle width direction (the other side in the vehicle width direction).

In the present embodiment, the distance between the stay side plates 18 of the left and right stay legs 11 and 12 is set slightly larger than the distance between the bracket side plates 23 of the left and right brackets 21 and 22, The stay upper ends 16 of the legs 11 and 12 are fixed to the left and right brackets 21 and 22 from the rear (one side in the front-rear direction), but are not limited thereto. For example, the distance between the stay side plate portions 18 of the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 is set slightly smaller than the distance between the bracket side plate portions 23 of the left and right brackets 21 and 22, and the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 are set. The upper end 16 of the stay may be fixed to the left and right brackets 21 and 22 from the front (one side in the front-rear direction). Further, as described above, the stay front plate portion 26 is bent from the front end edge of the stay side plate portion 18 and extended inward in the vehicle width direction, and the stay rear plate portion 27 is bent from the rear end edge of the stay side plate portion 18 to When extending outward in the width direction, the distance between the stay side plate portions 18 of the left and right stay leg portions 11, 12 is set slightly wider than the distance between the bracket side plate portions 23 of the left and right brackets 21, 22; The stay upper ends 16 of the left and right stay legs 11 and 12 may be fixed to the left and right brackets 21 and 22 by approaching them from the front (one side in the front-rear direction). The distance between the 12 stay side plate portions 18 is set slightly smaller than the distance between the bracket side plate portions 23 of the left and right brackets 21 and 22, and the stay upper end portions 16 of the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 are set to the left and right brackets. 21, 2 It may be fixed close from the rear (one side in the longitudinal direction) with respect to.

In this embodiment, the case 35 of the electronic component 14 is brought into contact with one stay leg of the left and right stay legs 11, 12, but the case 35 is brought into contact with both the left and right stay legs 11, 12. The electronic component 14 may be disposed between the left and right stay legs 11 and 12 without being in contact with each other. For example, the electronic component 14 may be disposed in the center in the vehicle width direction between the left and right stay legs 11 and 12 and separated from both the left and right stay legs 11 and 12.

In the present embodiment, the center stay 10 is provided with a plurality of (in this embodiment, two upper and lower) stay shelf portions 13a and 13b. However, at least one stay shelf portion may be provided. For example, the center stay 10 may be provided with only one stay shelf or three or more stay shelves.

In the present embodiment, a plurality of (four in the present embodiment) electronic components 14 are provided in the center stay 10. However, the electronic components 14 are arranged between the floor panel 6 and the stay shelves. It is only necessary to provide at least one electronic component 14 that is fixed to the shelf. For example, when two or more stay shelves are provided, at least one electronic component fixed to the floor panel 6 and the lowermost stay shelf between the floor panel 6 and the lowermost stay shelf. 14 may be provided.

Moreover, the component main body 36 of the electronic component 14 is not limited to a controller or a fuse, and may be various on-vehicle components. For example, the component main body 36 of the electronic component 14 may be an audio device (on-vehicle component) or the like.

Further, in the present embodiment, the upper region 19 and the lower region 20 having a different extension direction from the upper region 19 are provided in the stay intermediate portion 15 of the left and right stay legs 11 and 12, but the present invention is not limited to this. It is not something. For example, the stay intermediate portion 15 extending linearly may be used.

In the present embodiment, the stay lower end portions 17 of the left and right stay leg portions 11 and 12 are bent from the lower end of the stay intermediate portion 15 and extended rearward. However, the present invention is not limited to this. 17 may be fixed to the floor panel 6.

In addition, a fixing position (in this embodiment, the fixing member 40) for fixing the lower electronic components 14a, 14b to the floor panel 6 is fixed, and the left and right stay legs 11, 12 are fixed to the floor panel 6. Although it arrange | positions ahead rather than the fixed position (in this embodiment, the rear-end part of the stay lower end part 17), it is not limited to this. For example, the fixing position for fixing the lower electronic components 14 a and 14 b to the floor panel 6 may be arranged behind the fixing position for fixing the left and right stay legs 11 and 12 to the floor panel 6. Alternatively, the left and right stay legs 11 and 12 may be arranged at substantially the same position in the front-rear direction as the fixing position for fixing the left and right stay legs 11 and 12 to the floor panel 6.

In the present embodiment, the left and right brackets 21 and 22 are fixed to the steering cross member 3, and the stay upper end 16 of the center stay 10 is fixed to the steering cross member 3 via the left and right brackets 21 and 22. However, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the stay upper end 16 of the center stay 10 may be directly fixed to the steering cross member 3 without providing the left and right brackets 21, 22, or a shape different from the left and right brackets 21, 22. It may be indirectly fixed to the steering cross member 3 via the bracket.
