Claims (20)
- 第1の受信器、第1の送信器および電流センス回路を有するコントローラを含む溶接電源と、
第2の受信器、第2の送信器および電圧センス回路を有する通信回路を含むワイヤフィーダと、
溶接作業中に前記溶接電源から前記ワイヤフィーダへ溶接電力を運ぶ、前記溶接電源および前記ワイヤフィーダのそれぞれへ結合された少なくとも1つの溶接電力ケーブルと
を含む溶接システムであって、
前記溶接電源は、前記ワイヤフィーダ内の前記電圧センス回路により検知される電圧パルス信号を生成することにより、前記少なくとも1つの溶接電力ケーブル上で前記ワイヤフィーダと通信し、
前記電圧パルス信号は前記溶接電源により生成される複数の電圧パルスを含む、溶接システム。 - 前記電圧パルス信号は少なくとも第1のパルスタイプおよび第2のパルスタイプを含む、請求項1に記載の溶接システム。
- 前記電圧パルス信号は、通信信号の先頭として前記ワイヤフィーダにより認識される所定のピークおよび持続時間を有する信号開始電圧パルスを含む、請求項1に記載の溶接システム。
- 前記通信回路は前記電圧パルスを検知するために使用される電圧センス回路を含む、請求項1に記載の溶接システム。
- 前記電圧パルス信号は第1のタイプの電圧パルスと第2のタイプの電圧パルスとを含み、前記第1のタイプは前記第2のタイプと異なる、請求項1に記載の溶接システム。
- 前記第1および第2のタイプの前記電圧パルスは同じピーク電圧レベルを有する、請求項5に記載の溶接システム。
- 前記第1および第2のタイプの前記電圧パルスは異なるパルス幅を有する、請求項5に記載の溶接システム。
- 前記電圧パルス信号は前記信号開始電圧パルスと同じである信号終了電圧パルスを含む、請求項3に記載の溶接システム。
- 前記電圧パルス信号は前記溶接電源から前記ワイヤフィーダへのOCV信号内で生成される、請求項1に記載の溶接システム。
- 前記複数の電圧パルスのピーク電圧レベルは前記OCV信号の電圧レベルの20〜95%の範囲である、請求項9に記載の溶接システム。
- 溶接システムにおいて溶接ケーブル上で通信する方法であって、
第1の受信器、第1の送信器および電流センス回路を有するコントローラを含む溶接電源を提供する工程と、
第2の受信器、第2の送信器および電圧センス回路を有する通信回路を含むワイヤフィーダを提供する工程と、
前記溶接電源を、溶接作業中に前記溶接電源から前記ワイヤフィーダへ溶接電力を運ぶ少なくとも1つの溶接電力ケーブルを有する前記ワイヤフィーダへ結合する工程と、
前記少なくとも1つの溶接電力ケーブルを介して送信される複数の電圧パルスを有する電圧パルス信号を前記溶接電源において生成する工程と、
前記ワイヤフィーダにおいて前記複数の電圧パルスを検知し、および前記電圧パルスを前記溶接電源からの通信信号として認識する工程と
を含む、方法。 - 前記電圧パルス信号は少なくとも第1のパルスタイプおよび第2のパルスタイプを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記電圧パルス信号は、通信信号の先頭として前記ワイヤフィーダにより認識される所定のピークおよび持続時間を有する信号開始電圧パルスを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記通信回路は前記電圧パルスを検知するために使用される電圧センス回路を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記電圧パルス信号は第1のタイプの電圧パルスと第2のタイプの電圧パルスとを含み、前記第1のタイプは前記第2のタイプと異なる、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記第1および第2のタイプの前記電圧パルスは同じピーク電圧レベルを有する、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記第1および第2のタイプの前記電圧パルスは異なるパルス幅を有する、請求項15に記載の方法。

- 前記電圧パルス信号は前記溶接電源から前記ワイヤフィーダへのOCV信号内で生成される、請求項11に記載の方法。
