Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fuel cell system.
The fuel cell system includes a fuel cell that generates power using fuel and air, a fuel supply unit that supplies hydrogen as fuel to the fuel cell, and an air supply unit that supplies air to the fuel cell. The fuel cell is arranged around the cell body between two adjacent interconnectors, a cell body composed of an electrolyte, an anode and a cathode, an interconnector disposed so as to sandwich the cell body from both sides, and the cell body And a sealing member for sealing. In such a fuel cell system, the sealing function of the sealing member may be lowered due to deterioration of the sealing member due to operation of the fuel cell, and hydrogen and air as fuel may leak to the outside of the fuel cell. At this time, when the fuel cell is a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC), the operating temperature is as high as about 600 ° C. to 900 ° C. Therefore, if a hydrogen sensor is arranged in the vicinity of the fuel cell, the hydrogen sensor It becomes malfunctioning. For this reason, it is difficult to detect hydrogen leakage with a hydrogen sensor.
As a conventional technique for detecting leakage of air and fuel gas (gas leak) from a fuel cell, for example, a fuel cell system described in
However, in the above prior art, a heat exchanger that performs heat exchange between exhaust gas and water is required, so that the system configuration is complicated, and a gas leak is detected using the amount of heat recovered in the heat exchanger. Therefore, it is difficult to accurately detect gas leaks due to the influence of disturbances such as the amount of heat released from the piping.
An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel cell system that can accurately detect leakage of fuel and air from the fuel cell.
A fuel cell system according to the present invention has a cell body and a seal member that seals the cell body, a fuel cell that generates power using fuel and air, a fuel supply unit that supplies fuel to the fuel cell, An air supply unit that supplies air to the fuel cell, a temperature detection unit that detects the temperature of the fuel cell, and a map that represents the relationship between the flow rate of fuel and air supplied to the fuel cell and the output value of the fuel cell are stored. A flow rate determination unit for determining flow rate command values of fuel and air supplied to the fuel cell based on the map storage unit, the temperature of the fuel cell detected by the temperature detection unit and the required output value of the fuel cell; A fuel supply control unit that controls the fuel supply unit to supply fuel to the fuel cell in accordance with the fuel flow rate command value determined by the determination unit, and an air flow rate command value determined by the flow rate determination unit. An air supply control unit that controls the air supply unit to supply air to the fuel cell, an output detection unit that detects an actual output value of the fuel cell, and an actual output value of the fuel cell that is detected by the output detection unit, The fuel flow command value in the map stored in the map storage unit and the fuel cell output value corresponding to the air flow command value are compared to determine whether at least one of fuel and air has leaked from the fuel cell. And a leakage determination unit.
In the fuel cell system according to the present invention, when fuel and air leak from the fuel cell, the output value of the fuel cell decreases. Therefore, the fuel cell system determines fuel and air flow rate command values based on the temperature of the fuel cell and the required output value of the fuel cell, supplies fuel to the fuel cell according to the fuel flow rate command value, and air The air is supplied to the fuel cell according to the flow rate command value, and the actual output value of the fuel cell at that time is detected. The fuel cell system compares the actual output value of the fuel cell with the output value of the fuel cell corresponding to the flow rate command value of the fuel and the air flow rate command value in the map, so that at least fuel and air from the fuel cell Determine if one leaked. Thereby, it is possible to accurately detect leakage of fuel and air from the fuel cell.
A fuel cell system according to the present invention includes a pressurizing unit having a pressurizer that pressurizes a fuel cell in which a plurality of cell main bodies are stacked in the stacking direction of the cell main bodies, and a temperature of the fuel cell detected by the temperature detector. Based on the load determination unit that determines the pressure load command value for the fuel cell, and the pressure control that controls the pressure unit to pressurize the fuel cell according to the pressure load command value determined by the load determination unit May be further included.
When the temperature of the fuel cell rises, the contact state of each part of the fuel cell changes, so that the contact resistance increases and the output value of the fuel cell may decrease. Therefore, the fuel cell system determines a pressurized load command value for the fuel cell based on the temperature of the fuel cell, and pressurizes the fuel cell in the stacking direction of the cell bodies according to the pressurized load command value. Therefore, even if the temperature of the fuel cell rises, an increase in contact resistance of each part of the fuel cell can be suppressed, so that a decrease in the output value of the fuel cell is suppressed. For this reason, when the output value of a fuel cell falls, possibility that the leak of the fuel and air from a fuel cell will become a factor becomes still higher. Thereby, the leakage of the fuel and air from the fuel cell can be detected with higher accuracy.
The pressurizer may be an air cylinder that pressurizes the fuel cell with air. By using an air cylinder that operates with air in this way, the pressurizer can be realized with a simple configuration and at a low cost.
The air supply unit may include an insufflator that sends air to the fuel cell, and the air cylinder may pressurize the fuel cell with air from the insufflator. In this case, since the air supply unit of the air supply unit is also used as the air supply source in the air cylinder, it is not necessary to prepare a separate air supply source in the air cylinder. Thereby, the system configuration of the fuel cell system can be simplified.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the fuel cell system which can detect the leakage of the fuel and air from a fuel cell accurately is provided.

The
The

Further, the
The
The
As shown in FIG. 5, the
The
The output value of the
The load map is a map that represents the relationship between the temperature of the
The output value map is a map that represents the relationship between the flow rate of the fuel and air supplied to the
The flow
The fuel
The air
The
The
The
The
When it is determined that at least one of fuel and air has leaked from the
In the
Further, as described above, when the temperature of the
Furthermore, since the
At this time, since the
The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment. For example, in the above embodiment, the
