Abstract
Description
一旦新規サービスがステージングされると、テナント移行器41は、ステップ407で旧サービスの一部を停止する。テナント移行器41は、次いで、ステップ408で、新規サービスの対応する一部を開始する。ネットワークは、ステップ408で、必要に応じて更新され、旧サービスおよび新規サービスの開始済みの部分を、負荷バランサおよび他のルーティング・コンポーネントと同様に接続して、それらがクラスタ42,43にわたり開始済みのサービスにポイントするのを許可する。図2および図3で示したプロセスとは異なり、サービスの一部のみ(例えば、選択された数のVMまたはインスタンス)が、ステップ407で停止され、次いで、ステップ408で開始される。テナント移行器は、ステップ409で、新規クラスタ上で開始された部分が使用のために準備されるのを待機する。
Claims (10)
- リソースが分散されるコンピューティング環境における、該コンピューティング環境のリソース間でサービスを移行する方法であって、
前記コンピューティング環境において第1クラスタ上で起動しているサービスについてのアーティファクトをコピーするステップであって、前記第1クラスタが第1グループの仮想マシンを含む、ステップと、
前記サービスを、前記アーティファクトを用いて前記コンピューティング環境の第2クラスタ上で生成するステップであって、前記第2クラスタが第2グループの仮想マシンを含む、ステップと、
前記第1クラスタ上で前記サービスを停止するステップと、
前記第2クラスタ上で前記サービスを開始するステップと、
前記第1クラスタ上で前記サービスを削除するステップと
を含む、方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、更に、
前記第2クラスタ上でIPアドレスを前記サービスに割り当てるステップと、
前記第2クラスタで前記IPアドレスを前記サービスと関連付けるために、ネットワーク位置サービスを更新するステップと
を含む、方法。 - 前記ネットワーク位置サービスがドメイン・ネーム・システム(DNS)である、請求項2記載の方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、更に、
前記第1クラスタ上で前記サービスを停止するステップの後に、前記サービスと関連付けられたIPアドレスを前記第1クラスタから削除するステップと、
前記IPアドレスを前記第2クラスタ上のサービスに割り当てるステップと
を含む、方法。 - 前記サービスが起動する準備ができているものの開始されないように、前記第2クラスタ上で前記サービスをステージングするステップを更に含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記コピーしたアーティファクトが、コード、証明書、およびモデルの内1つ以上を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記第1クラスタおよび前記第2クラスタがデータセンタ内に位置する、請求項1記載の方法。
- テナント移行器が、前記コピーするステップ、前記生成するステップ、前記停止するステップ、前記開始するステップ、および前記削除するステップを実行する、請求項1記載の方法。
- コンピュータ実装方法であって、
コンピューティング環境において第1クラスタ上で起動しているサービスについてのアーティファクトをコピーするステップであって、前記第1クラスタが第1グループの仮想マシンを含む、ステップと、
前記サービスを、前記アーティファクトを用いて前記コンピューティング環境の第2クラスタ上で生成するステップであって、前記第2クラスタが第2グループの仮想マシンを含む、ステップと、
前記第1クラスタ上で前記サービスについて選択された部分を停止するステップと、
前記第2クラスタ上で前記サービスについて対応する選択された部分を開始するステップと、
前記選択されたサービスの全部が前記第1クラスタ上で停止するまで、また、前記サービスの対応する全部が前記第2クラスタ上で開始するまで、前記停止するステップおよび前記開始するステップを2回以上実行するステップと、
前記第1クラスタ上で前記サービスを削除するステップと
を含む、方法。 - 請求項9記載の方法であって、更に、
IPアドレスを前記サービスに割り当てるステップと、
前記IPアドレスを用いて、前記第1クラスタおよび前記第2クラスタの両方に対し、同時に前記サービスをサポートするステップと
を含む、方法。
