Description

The present invention relates to a floating roof type tank sealing material, and more particularly to a floating roof type tank sealing material that can ensure stable sealing performance for a long period of time and is excellent in maintainability.

As a storage tank for petroleum and chemical solutions, a floating roof type tank having a floating roof arranged inside the tank is known. Since the floating roof floats on the upper surface of the liquid stored in the tank, the floating roof moves up and down according to the storage amount of the liquid. Since there is a gap between the inner surface of the tank side peripheral wall and the peripheral edge of the floating roof, a sealing material is installed to seal the gap (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Conventionally, this sealing material has a structure in which a cushioning body such as urethane foam is filled in a cylindrical body mainly made of rubber. Alternatively, an inner bag is disposed inside the cylindrical body, and the inner bag is filled with liquid.

Since this sealing material is sandwiched in a compressed state between the inner surface of the tank side peripheral wall and the peripheral edge of the floating roof, the cushioning body such as urethane foam is permanently deformed over time and the sealing performance is reduced. There's a problem. In addition, in the case of a structure in which the inner bag inside the cylindrical body is filled with liquid, there is a problem that the liquid injection and maintenance work becomes complicated. There is also a problem that the filled liquid leaks due to damage to the inner bag. Therefore, there has been a demand for a floating roof type tank sealing material that can ensure stable sealing performance for a long period of time and has excellent maintainability.

The objective of this invention is providing the sealing material for floating roof type tanks which can ensure the stable sealing performance for a long period of time, and was excellent in maintainability.

In order to achieve the above object, the floating roof type tank sealing material of the present invention is attached to the peripheral portion of the floating roof, and is installed between the inner surface of the side peripheral wall of the tank and the peripheral portion of the floating roof. In the tank sealing material, a cylindrical body mainly made of rubber that is attached along the peripheral edge of the floating roof and is formed in an annular shape, and disposed inside the cylindrical body along the cylindrical body An inner bag formed in an annular shape, and the inner bag is formed into an annular shape by connecting a plurality of divided bodies divided in the circumferential direction, and the adjacent divided bodies in the circumferential direction are communicated with each other. The cylindrical body is configured to seal between the inner surface of the side peripheral wall of the tank and the peripheral edge of the floating roof by the pressure of air filled in the bag.

According to the present invention, an inner bag that is attached to the peripheral edge of a floating roof and is formed in an annular shape is disposed along the tubular body and is formed in an annular shape. Since the cylindrical body seals between the inner surface of the side peripheral wall of the tank and the peripheral edge of the floating roof by the pressure of air filled in the bag, the inner bag is permanently deformed over time. There is no problem that the sealing performance deteriorates, and a stable sealing performance can be secured for a long time. In addition, since it is air rather than liquid that fills the inner bag, the filling and maintenance work does not become complicated. Even if the inner bag is damaged, it is the air that leaks out, so there is no adverse effect on the liquid stored in the tank. In addition, since the inner bag is formed in an annular shape by connecting a plurality of divided bodies, the construction work for installing the inner bag inside the cylindrical body is facilitated. In addition, if the divided bodies adjacent in the circumferential direction are communicated with each other, if air is injected from any one of the divided bodies, all the divided bodies can be filled with air, so that the air injection operation is facilitated. Furthermore, since buoyancy is obtained by the air filled in the inner bag, it is advantageous to avoid the problem that the floating roof sinks due to unforeseen circumstances.

Here, the said division bodies adjacent to the circumferential direction can also be set as the structure connected and connected via a connection metal fitting. According to this configuration, it is possible to more easily connect and communicate the divided bodies, and more reliably connect and communicate with each other.

It can also be set as the structure which the said division body adjacent in the circumferential direction is overlapped and connected in the circumferential direction. According to this structure, the pressure of the air with which the inner bag was filled can be made to act on a cylindrical body reliably also in the connection boundary of division bodies. Accordingly, it is possible to substantially eliminate the variation in the circumferential direction of the sealing performance of the cylindrical body formed in an annular shape. At this time, for example, one end in the circumferential direction of the divided body is formed in a convex shape, and the other end in the circumferential direction is formed in a concave shape, and the one end in the convex circumferential direction of the divided body adjacent in the circumferential direction. The portion is configured to enter and fit into the other end portion of the concave circumferential direction. Thereby, the division body adjacent to the circumferential direction can be connected more stably.

Hereinafter, the sealing material for floating roof type tanks of the present invention will be described based on the embodiments shown in the drawings.

The floating roof type tank sealing material 1 of the present invention illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3 (hereinafter referred to as sealing material 1) is installed between the inner surface of the side peripheral wall 12 of the tank 11 and the peripheral edge of the floating roof 10. The The sealing material 1 includes a cylindrical body 2 formed in an annular shape using rubber as a main material, and an inner bag 3 that is disposed in the cylindrical body 2 along the cylindrical body 2 and formed in an annular shape. It has. The cylindrical body 2 is formed, for example, by forming a rubber sheet in which the reinforcing layer 2 a is embedded in a cylindrical shape, and is attached to the peripheral portion along the peripheral portion of the floating roof 10 by the attachment member 6. The cylindrical body 2 is formed in an annular shape by connecting a plurality of divided bodies 2A divided in the circumferential direction.

In this embodiment, one end portion side of the rubber sheet constituting the cylindrical body 2 is sandwiched between the peripheral edge portion of the floating roof 10 and the rigid support plate 7. Further, opposite end portions of the rubber sheet constituting the cylindrical body 2 are fixed to the peripheral edge portion of the floating roof 10 by an attachment member 6 such as a bolt with the upper end portion of the support plate 7 sandwiched therebetween. Further, a weather shield 8 that is inclined upward toward the outside is attached to the peripheral edge of the floating roof 10. Accordingly, the upper portion of the sealing material 1 is covered with the weather shield 8.

The inner bag 3 is made of rubber, for example, and expands by filling the inside with air a, and contracts by discharging the air a. The inner bag 3 is formed in an annular shape by connecting a plurality of divided bodies 3A divided in the circumferential direction. The divided bodies 3A are connected to each other by any means that can be connected and disconnected such as a hook-and-loop fastener and connecting fittings 4a and 4b described below, and the divided bodies 3A adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction communicate with each other.

At least one divided body 3 </ b> A is provided with an injection port 5 that extends to the outside of the cylindrical body 2. Air a is injected into the divided body 3 </ b> A through the inlet 5. Moreover, the pressure gauge 9 is provided in the at least 1 division body 3A, By referring to the pressure gauge 9, it is possible to grasp | ascertain the internal pressure of the division body 3A (inner bag 3).

In the sealing material 1 installed between the inner surface of the side peripheral wall 12 of the tank 11 and the peripheral edge of the floating roof 10, air a is sent into the inner bag 3 by a compressor or the like to be expanded. The air a injected from the injection port 5 is sequentially filled into the communicating divided bodies 3A and is expanded by the air a filled with all the divided bodies 3A (inner bags 3). The tubular body 2 presses the inner surface of the side peripheral wall 12 of the tank 11 by the pressure of the expanding inner bag 3, that is, the air a filled in the inner bag 3. Thereby, it will be in the seal state by which the space between the inner surface of the side peripheral wall 12 and the peripheral part of the floating roof 10 was sealed.

The floating roof 10 floats on the upper surface of the liquid L such as oil stored in the tank 11. Therefore, the floating roof 10 moves up and down according to the storage amount of the liquid L. Accordingly, the outer edge surfaces of the cylindrical body 2 and the weather shield 8 slide up and down on the inner surface of the side peripheral wall 12 of the tank 11. At this time, since the cylindrical body 2 is pressed against the inner surface of the side peripheral wall 12 by the pressure of the air a filled in the inner bag 3, there is always a space between the inner surface of the side peripheral wall 12 and the peripheral edge of the floating roof 10. Sealed.

Moreover, since the pressure of the air a with which the inner bag 3 was filled is utilized, even if it uses in a compressed state, the sealing material 1 hardly deforms permanently over time. Compared to conventional sealing materials using a cushioning material such as urethane foam, a much more stable sealing performance can be secured for a long period of time.

Since the inner bag 3 is filled with air a, the filling and maintenance work is not complicated. Even if the inner bag 3 is damaged, it is the air a that leaks out, so that it does not adversely affect the liquid L stored in the tank 11.

The sealing material 1 of the present invention has an advantage that a larger buoyancy can be obtained by the air a filled in the inner bag 3 than in the prior art. For example, the floating roof 10 may shake greatly due to an unexpected situation such as an earthquake. In such a case, conventionally, the floating roof may sink in the liquid L, and if it sinks, a great number of man-hours are required for the restoration work. However, by using this sealing material 1, air a imparts a large buoyancy to the floating roof 10, which is extremely advantageous in avoiding the problem that the floating roof 10 sinks. In particular, since considerable buoyancy can be obtained continuously over the entire periphery of the floating roof 10, it is very effective in preventing the floating roof 10 from sinking.

In the present invention, since the inner bag 3 is formed by connecting the divided bodies 3A, the construction work for installing the inner bag 3 inside the cylindrical body 2 is facilitated. Moreover, if the air a is inject | poured from any one division body by making the division bodies 3A adjacent in the circumferential direction communicate, the air a can be filled to all the division bodies 3A. Therefore, the operation | work which inject | pours the air a to the whole inner bag 3 becomes very easy, and it is very useful for reduction of work time and cost. When the inner bag 3 is damaged, only the divided body 3A corresponding to the damaged portion needs to be replaced. This facilitates the work and is advantageous for cost reduction required for replacement and repair.

In another embodiment of the sealing material 1 illustrated in FIG. 4, the circumferentially adjacent divided bodies 3 </ b> A that form the inner bag 3 are connected and communicated with each other via the connecting metal fittings 4 a and 4 b. . Paired fittings 4a and 4b are fixed to one end and the other end in the circumferential direction of each divided body 3A. These connecting fittings 4a and 4b are structured to be connected and disconnected from each other. The connected divided bodies 3A communicate with each other through a communication path formed in each of the connection fittings 4a and 4b. When the inner bag 3 having this configuration is used, the connection and communication between the divided bodies 3A can be further facilitated, and the connection and communication can be more reliably performed.

In this embodiment, furthermore, one circumferential end of each divided body 3A is formed in a convex shape, and the other circumferential end is formed in a concave shape. And the convex circumferential one end part of the divided body 3A is configured to enter and fit into the concave circumferential other end part of the divided body 3A adjacent in the circumferential direction. According to the inner bag 3 having this configuration, the convex circumferential one end and the concave circumferential other end of the fitting 3A to be fitted overlap in the circumferential direction.

Therefore, the pressure of the air a filled in the inner bag 3 can be reliably applied to the tubular body 2 and pressed at the connection boundary between the divided bodies 3A. Therefore, it is possible to substantially eliminate the variation in the circumferential direction of the sealing performance of the tubular body 2 formed in an annular shape.

The structure in which the adjacent divided bodies 3A overlap in the circumferential direction is not limited to the structure illustrated in FIG. 4, and various structures can be employed. For example, inclined surfaces are provided at both circumferential ends of each divided body 3A, and the inclined surfaces are opposed to each other and connected. That is, the side view shape of the divided body 3A is a parallelogram or a trapezoid. And the division body 3A is arrange | positioned in the direction which can press the inner peripheral side of the side peripheral wall 12 of the tank 11 of the cylindrical body 2, and the peripheral part side of the floating roof 10 in the part which 3A of division bodies overlapped. In addition, if the division body 3A is made into the overlap structure illustrated in FIG. 4, the division body 3A adjacent to the circumferential direction can be connected more stably.
