Description
Claims (13)
- 流通する流体から1つ以上の物質を除去するためのフィルターエレメントであって、
互いに反対向きにある少なくとも第1の端部および第2の端部と、互いに反対向きにある前記第1の端部と前記第2の端部との間に延びる複数のプリーツとを有するプリーツ状複合材と、
前記プリーツ状複合材の前記第1の端部および前記第2の端部にそれぞれ取り付けられた、第1のエンドエレメントおよび第2のエンドエレメントと
を備え、
前記プリーツのそれぞれが、開放端、折り返し端、および前記開放端と前記折り返し端との間に延びる一対の脚部を有し、
前記プリーツ状複合材が、互いに反対向きにある第1の面および第2の面を有するフィルターメディア層と、前記フィルターメディア層の前記第1の面および前記第2の面のうちの一方に沿った、前記フィルターメディア層と共にプリーツ加工された溝付きメッシュドレイネージ層とを含み、
前記溝付きメッシュドレイネージ層が、複数のストランドと、前記ストランドに形成され、かつ前記プリーツの各々の一方のプリーツ脚部または両方のプリーツ脚部に沿って延びる複数の溝とを有し、
前記溝付きメッシュドレイネージ層が、前記溝を介して、前記フィルターメディア層の前記第1の面および前記第2の面のうちの一方に対してまたはその一方から、流体を導き、
前記フィルターメディア層が、前記フィルターメディア層の前記第1の面と前記第2の面との間で、前記フィルターメディア層を通って流れる流体から1つ以上の物質を除去するようになっている、フィルターエレメント。 - 前記溝付きメッシュドレイネージ層が、前記フィルターメディア層の前記第1の面および前記第2の面のうちの一方に接する、請求項1に記載のフィルターエレメント。
- 前記溝付きメッシュドレイネージ層が、前記フィルターメディア層の前記第1の面に沿って延び、前記フィルターメディア層の前記第1の面に対してまたは前記第1の面から、前記溝を介して、流体を流出させる、請求項1または2に記載のフィルターエレメント。
- 前記溝付きメッシュドレイネージ層が、前記フィルターメディア層の前記第2の面に沿って延び、前記フィルターメディア層の前記第2の面からまたは前記第2の面に対して、前記溝を介して、流体を流出させる、請求項1または2に記載のフィルターエレメント。
- 前記溝付きメッシュドレイネージ層が第1の面および第2の面を有し、前記第1の面が前記複数の溝を含み、前記溝付きメッシュドレイネージ層および前記フィルターメディア層は、前記溝付きメッシュドレイネージ層の前記第2の側が前記溝付きメッシュドレイネージ層の前記第1の面よりも前記フィルターメディア層に近い状態で、前記プリーツ状複合材に配置されている、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のフィルターエレメント。
- 前記溝付きメッシュドレイネージ層の前記複数のストランドが金属のストランドを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のフィルターエレメント。
- 前記溝付きメッシュドレイネージ層の前記複数のストランドがポリマー製のストランドを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のフィルターエレメント。
- 前記溝付きメッシュドレイネージ層の前記複数の溝が互いに平行に延びている、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のフィルターエレメント。
- 前記複数のストランドが、前記複数の平行な溝に対して平行に延びる第1の複数の平行なストランドを含み、前記複数の平行な溝のそれぞれが、一対の隣り合う平行な第1のストランドと第2のストランドとの間で平行に配置されている、請求項8に記載のフィルターエレメント。
- 前記溝付きメッシュドレイネージ層の前記複数の溝が、前記開放端と前記折り返し端との間で、前記プリーツの各々の一方のプリーツ脚部または両方のプリーツ脚部に沿って連続的に延びている、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のフィルターエレメント。
- 前記プリーツ状複合材が円筒状の構成と中空の内側とを有し、前記エンドエレメントのうちの少なくとも1つが、前記中空の内部と流体連通する開口を有する、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のフィルターエレメント。
- 前記プリーツ状複合材の前記中空の内部に配置された有孔コアをさらに備える、請求項11に記載のフィルターエレメント。
- 前記プリーツの各々の高さが、前記プリーツ状複合材の内周と外周との間における半径方向の距離より大きい、請求項11または12に記載のフィルターエレメント。
