Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle power supply device mounted on a vehicle.
As a vehicle power supply device mounted on a vehicle, a power supply device has been developed in which not only a lead battery but also a lithium ion battery is charged with electric power generated by an alternator during vehicle deceleration (see Patent Document 1). Thereby, much electric power can be regenerated at the time of vehicle deceleration, and the energy efficiency of the vehicle can be improved.
By the way, in the power supply device described in Patent Document 1, the state of charge of the lithium ion battery is transmitted from the battery controller to the engine controller. Then, the engine controller controls the alternator based on the received state of charge of the lithium ion battery. For this reason, when a communication abnormality occurs between the engine controller and the battery controller, the engine controller cannot recognize the state of the lithium ion battery, and it is difficult to appropriately control the power supply device. Even when such a communication abnormality occurs, it is desired to appropriately control the power supply apparatus.
An object of the present invention is to appropriately control a vehicle power supply device even when a communication abnormality occurs.
The vehicle power supply device of the present invention is a vehicle power supply device mounted on a vehicle, and includes a generator connected to an engine, a first power storage unit connected to the generator, and the first power storage unit. In parallel, a second power storage unit connected to the generator and a first switch connecting the power generator and the first power storage unit are controlled to connect the generator and the second power storage unit. A first control unit that controls two switches, and a second control unit that instructs the first control unit to open and close the first switch and open and close the second switch, When a communication abnormality between the control unit and the second control unit is detected, the first control unit opens the first switch and closes the second switch.
According to the present invention, when a communication abnormality between the first control unit and the second control unit is detected, the first switch is opened and the second switch is closed. Thereby, overcharge and overdischarge of the first power storage unit can be prevented, and the vehicle power supply device can be appropriately controlled.

When the
Next, the configuration of the vehicle
The first
The second
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the vehicle
The
As described above, the instantaneous power
As shown in FIG. 2, the vehicle
The charge / discharge controller (second control unit) 51 determines the state of charge SOC of the
Further, the
As various sensors connected to the

[Battery voltage characteristics]
Next, voltage characteristics of the
As shown in FIG. 4, the terminal voltage V <b> 1 of the
As shown in FIG. 4, since the
[Power generation control of motor generator]
Next, power generation control of the
As shown in FIG. 5, the charge state S1 of the
Whether to control the
[Power supply status of vehicle power supply]
Next, the power supply status of the vehicle
First, as shown in FIG. 5, when the charging state S1 of the
Thus, when the
Next, as shown in FIG. 5, when the brake pedal is depressed (reference C1), the charge /
After that, as shown in FIG. 5, when the depression of the brake pedal is released (reference C2), the charge /
As described so far, the charge / discharge of the
As shown in FIG. 6, when power is generated by the
In the above description, the
[Engine start control]
Next, the power supply status of the vehicle
As shown in FIG. 8, when the engine is initially started by the driver's start switch operation, the
As shown in FIG. 9, when the engine is restarted by the idling stop control, the target drive torque of the
[Fail safe control]
Next, the fail safe control executed by the vehicle
FIG. 10 is a flowchart showing an example of the execution procedure of fail-safe control, and FIG. 11 is an explanatory diagram showing the power supply status of the vehicle
In step S10, when a communication abnormality between the
If a communication abnormality between the
As described above, when a communication abnormality between the battery controller (first control unit) 45 and the charge / discharge controller (second control unit) 51 is detected, the
As shown in FIG. 11, in the fail safe control, the first
In addition, as shown in FIG. 11, in the fail safe control, the opening / closing switch SW2 is closed by the second
Moreover, since the idling stop control is prohibited, that is, the engine stop by the
Further, since the regenerative power generation of the
It goes without saying that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the invention. As described above, the

In the above description, the open / close switch SW2 is provided in the second
