本発明者等は、アルミニウムのような熱に弱く、また溶接が困難な材質で成形された消火器の容器本体であっても、容易に壁掛け用の掛部を設けられるようにするための試験研究を重ねた結果、容器本体がアルミニウム製の消火器に設置される、容器の底部保護と安定性保持の機能を持つ樹脂製スカートに着目し、本発明を完成させるに至った。
