白布の染色部のLabを、カラーリーダーCR−13型(コニカミノルタ社製)を用いて測定し、測定結果として3回測定した際の平均値を示した。

その結果、オイゲノールを添加した染毛剤においては、明度が低くなっており、二剤式の剤形においても明らかに染色性が向上したことがわかる。
