Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a hybrid vehicle, and more particularly, to a hybrid vehicle including an internal combustion engine, a power storage device, and an electric motor that generates a driving force when supplied with power from the power storage device.
特開2013−252853号公報(特許文献1)は、CD(Charge Depleting)モードと、CS(Charge Sustaining)モードとを有するハイブリッド車両を開示する。 Japanese Patent Laying-Open No. 2013-252853 (Patent Document 1) discloses a hybrid vehicle having a CD (Charge Depleting) mode and a CS (Charge Sustaining) mode. The CD mode is a mode in which SOC (State Of Charge) of the power storage device is actively consumed by performing EV (Electric Vehicle) driving while allowing HV (Hybrid Vehicle) driving. Is a mode in which the SOC is controlled within a predetermined range by appropriately switching between HV traveling and EV traveling. The EV travel is travel using only the motor generator with the engine stopped, and the HV travel is travel performed by operating the engine (see Patent Document 1).
Recent advances in power electronics technology have improved the performance of motors, inverters, power storage devices, and the like. With such a technical background, in the hybrid vehicle, the degree of freedom in selecting the driving force source (engine and motor) is high, and in the hybrid vehicle having the CD mode and the CS mode, the user satisfaction particularly in the CD mode. It is hoped that a special run with high degree will be realized.
In general, the responsiveness of the vehicle driving torque to the operation of the accelerator pedal and the shock or sound accompanying the torque change (hereinafter collectively referred to as “shock”) are in a trade-off relationship, and the vehicle The responsiveness of the vehicle driving torque is set according to the characteristics required for the vehicle. However, if the responsiveness of the vehicle driving torque is uniformly set, it is not possible to realize a special running with high user satisfaction in the CD mode.
Therefore, in order to realize a special running in the CD mode, it is conceivable to change the responsiveness of the vehicle driving torque to the operation of the accelerator pedal between the CD mode and the CS mode. Specifically, when the CD mode is selected, it is conceivable that the vehicle drive torque response to the operation of the accelerator pedal is made higher than when the CS mode is selected. However, the change in the responsiveness of the vehicle driving torque accompanying switching between the CD mode and the CS mode may give the user a sense of discomfort.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a hybrid vehicle that realizes a special running in the CD mode and can reduce the uncomfortable feeling that can be given to the user in accordance with the realization.
According to the present invention, the hybrid vehicle includes an internal combustion engine, a power storage device, an electric motor that generates a driving force when power is supplied from the power storage device, and a control for selecting one of the CD mode and the CS mode. Device. In each of the CD mode and the CS mode, the control device stops the internal combustion engine and travels by the electric motor according to the travel state (first travel mode (
EV travel) and a second travel mode (HV travel) in which the internal combustion engine is operated to travel. When a travel range other than the reverse range is selected, the control device changes the responsiveness of the vehicle driving torque to the operation of the accelerator pedal in accordance with the mode switching between the CD mode and the CS mode, and the reverse range. If is selected, the change of the response according to the mode switching is not performed. When the traveling range other than the reverse range is selected, the control device is configured so that the responsiveness is higher when the CD mode is selected than when the CS mode is selected. The responsiveness is changed in CS mode.
Generally, the responsiveness of the electric motor is higher than the responsiveness of the internal combustion engine, and the CD mode in which EV traveling is mainly performed and the CS mode in which the SOC is controlled within a predetermined range by appropriately switching between HV traveling and EV traveling. And the required torque response is different. Therefore, in this hybrid vehicle, the response of the vehicle driving torque to the operation of the accelerator pedal is switched between when the CD mode is selected and when the CS mode is selected. Specifically, when the CD mode is selected, the responsiveness of the vehicle driving torque to the operation of the accelerator pedal is higher than when the CS mode is selected. As a result, special running in the CD mode can be realized. Here, when the vehicle drive torque responsiveness to the operation of the accelerator pedal is changed in accordance with the mode switching during the reverse travel generally traveling at a relatively low speed, the user may feel uncomfortable. Therefore, in this hybrid vehicle, when the reverse range is selected, the change of the response according to the mode switching is not performed. Therefore, according to this hybrid vehicle, special running in the CD mode can be realized, and the uncomfortable feeling given to the user along with the realization can be reduced.
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a hybrid vehicle that realizes a special running in the CD mode and can reduce the uncomfortable feeling that can be given to the user in accordance with the realization.

[Embodiment 1]
FIG. 1 is a block diagram for illustrating the overall configuration of a hybrid vehicle according to the first embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 1,
The
The power split device 4 includes, for example, a planetary gear mechanism having three rotation shafts of a sun gear, a carrier, and a ring gear. Power split device 4 divides the driving force of
The
The state of charge of
The
The
As the main control of the
When the vehicle power is low, the
Here, the
FIG. 2 is a diagram for explaining the CD mode and the CS mode. Referring to FIG. 2, it is assumed that traveling is started in the CD mode after
The CD mode is a mode in which the SOC of the
The CS mode is a mode for controlling the SOC of the
In this
The engine start threshold value in the CD mode is preferably larger than the engine start threshold value in the CS mode. That is, it is preferable that the region where
Even in the CD mode, the
Referring to FIG. 1 again, the
The
FIG. 3 is a diagram showing a driving force responsiveness setting in a conventional hybrid vehicle as a comparative example. Referring to FIG. 3, the horizontal axis indicates the time from when the accelerator pedal is depressed until the driving force (vehicle driving torque) increases by a predetermined amount, that is, the response of the vehicle driving torque to the operation of the accelerator pedal. . The vertical axis indicates the magnitude of the vehicle vibration when the driving force increases by a predetermined amount by operating the accelerator pedal, that is, the magnitude of the shock accompanying the change in the vehicle driving torque. Note that the shock is caused by twisting of the drive shaft or gear system, gear rattling or the like when the vehicle driving torque changes.
The dotted line indicates that the response of the vehicle driving torque to the operation of the accelerator pedal and the magnitude of the shock accompanying the change in the vehicle driving torque are in a trade-off relationship. In the conventional hybrid vehicle, for example, priority is given to shock reduction, and the responsiveness of the vehicle driving torque to the operation of the accelerator pedal is uniformly set at a point indicated by a point P0 (a point with suppressed responsiveness).
FIG. 4 shows setting of driving force responsiveness in
In general, the responsiveness of the motor generator is higher than the responsiveness of the engine, and the CD mode in which EV traveling is mainly performed and the CS mode in which the SOC is controlled within a predetermined range by appropriately switching between HV traveling and EV traveling. And the required torque response is different. However, as shown in FIG. 3, if the responsiveness of the vehicle driving torque is uniformly set as in the conventional hybrid vehicle, it is not possible to realize a special running with high user satisfaction in the CD mode.
Therefore, in
FIG. 5 is a diagram for explaining the level of driving force response. Referring to FIG. 5, the horizontal axis represents time, and the vertical axis represents vehicle drive torque. It is assumed that the accelerator pedal is depressed at time t1, and the target value of the vehicle driving torque changes (increases) accordingly.
A line k1 shows a change in the vehicle driving torque when the driving force responsiveness is relatively high. Specifically, the CD mode set to the driving force responsiveness indicated by a point P2 in FIG. 4 is selected. It shows a change in vehicle driving torque when the vehicle is on. A line k2 indicates a change in the vehicle driving torque when the driving force responsiveness is relatively low. Specifically, the CS mode set to the driving force responsiveness indicated by a point P1 in FIG. 4 is selected. It shows a change in vehicle driving torque when the vehicle is on.
Thus, in this
Referring to FIG. 1 again, switching of driving force responsiveness according to mode switching is executed by
The slow change process is, for example, a rate process that limits the rate of change of the vehicle driving torque, an “annealing” process that performs a delay process using a delay filter or the like. Then, the
Here, as described above, when the R range is selected, the
Therefore, in
FIG. 6 is a flowchart for explaining the procedure of the vehicle drive torque (required value) calculation process executed by the
Referring to FIG. 6,
Next, the
Subsequently, the
If it is determined in step S30 that the mode has been switched (YES in step S30),
If it is determined in step S50 that the CD mode is selected (YES in step S50), the
On the other hand, when it is determined in step S50 that the CS mode is selected (NO in step S50),
Then, the
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S40 that the R range is selected (YES in step S40), or if it is determined in step S30 that there is no mode switching (NO in step S30),
As described above, in the first embodiment, the response of the vehicle driving torque to the operation of the accelerator pedal is switched between when the CD mode is selected and when the CS mode is selected. Specifically, when the CD mode is selected, the responsiveness of the vehicle driving torque to the operation of the accelerator pedal is higher than when the CS mode is selected. As a result, special running in the CD mode can be realized. Here, when the R range is selected, the change in the responsiveness of the vehicle driving torque accompanying the mode switching can give the user a sense of incongruity, so the torque responsiveness is not changed according to the mode switching. It is said. Therefore, according to the first embodiment, the special running in the CD mode can be realized, and the uncomfortable feeling given to the user in accordance with the realization can be reduced.

That is, when it is determined in step S30 that the mode has been switched (YES in step S30),
If it is determined in step S42 that the mode is not automatically switched, that is, it is determined that the
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S42 that the mode has been automatically switched (YES in step S42), the process proceeds to step S90 without executing the processes in steps S50 to S80. That is, when the mode is switched automatically rather than by the user's operation of the
As described above, in the second embodiment, when mode switching is automatically performed, a change in vehicle drive torque responsiveness accompanying mode switching can give the user a sense of incongruity. The corresponding torque response change is not implemented. Therefore, according to the second embodiment, special running in the CD mode can be realized, and the uncomfortable feeling given to the user accompanying the realization can be reduced.
[Modification 1]
In each of the embodiments described above, the gradual change process is performed on the required drive torque calculated based on the accelerator pedal operation amount and the vehicle speed, and the response constant used in the gradual change process is switched according to the mode. It was. However, the vehicle drive torque responsiveness switching means is not limited to this. For example, a slow change process is performed on the accelerator opening calculated from the accelerator pedal operation amount and used to calculate the required drive torque. The response constant used in the slow change process may be switched according to the mode.
FIG. 8 is a flowchart for explaining a calculation process of a vehicle driving torque (required value) executed by the ECU according to the first modification.
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S140 that the CS mode has been selected (NO in step S140),
Then, the
