Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an alarm device that issues an alarm with light such as flash emission when a fire occurs.
In the case where a person who should evacuate when an emergency occurs has a hearing impairment, it is desired to spread an alarm device that works on a sense other than hearing such as light to notify the emergency. When alarming with light, it is necessary to generate strong light that can be seen through smoke in the event of a fire (Reference: Report of the 1970 Fire Research Institute “Visibility in smoke (I)”, 1971 Proceedings of the Japan Fire Society A series of research papers by Tadahisa Jin, such as “About the line-of-sight distance in smoke”). An optical alarm device that emits light intermittently using an electronic flash typified by a strobe (registered trademark) that emits intense flash light, a high-intensity LED lamp, or the like as a light source is known (Patent Literature). 1 and 2).
On the other hand, in buildings with emergency broadcasting equipment linked to automatic fire alarm equipment, “detector alarm broadcasting” that notifies when a fire detector is activated, and when a fire is determined, a fire occurs. Voice messages are used to announce “fire broadcasts” that prompt evacuation and “non-fire broadcasts” that notify the fire detector when it is confirmed that the fire detector is not triggered by a fire (for example, (See Patent Document 3). By performing such broadcasting, the residents can grasp the situation correctly and promptly, and can take appropriate measures such as evacuation without causing unnecessary panic.
However, the conventional light alarm device only flashes periodically in the event of a fire, and there are various situations such as “sensor detection”, “fire notification”, and “non-fire notification” such as emergency broadcasting equipment. Could not be notified. For this reason, the residents with hearing impairment cannot grasp the situation quickly, and there is a possibility of causing unnecessary anxiety and panic.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the above problems, the present invention provides an alarm device capable of correctly and promptly notifying a person with hearing impairments of sensor alerts, fire alarms, and non-fire information. .

Below, the Example of the optical alarm device by this invention is shown. As the light-emitting element, a high-intensity white LED, a xenon tube, or the like can be used, but other light-emitting elements may be used.
An example using a smoke sensor that detects aerosol such as smoke will be described as an example of a fire sensor, but the fire sensor includes detection means for detecting a physical quantity caused by a fire such as heat, radiation, gas, etc. A fire may be detected based on the detection result.
First, the optical alarm device according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 shows the configuration of an automatic fire alarm facility using the light alarm device of the first embodiment.
DESCRIPTION OF
When smoke due to fire is detected, the
When the
The fire alarm signal, the sensor alarm signal, and the non-fire signal are transmitted to the
FIG. 2 shows the internal configuration of the
Next, the light emission pattern of the
On the other hand, (1) When the
When the operator confirms that the operation of the fire detector is not caused by a fire (non-fire report), the non-fire notification is made by operating the non-fire switch of the
As described above, a hearing-impaired person can recognize the notification information by causing the light emitting element to emit light in a specific light emission mode according to the sensor notification, the fire alarm, and the non-fire notification information. . In Example 1, the light emitting element emits light in a specific light emission mode that differs depending on the notification information depending on the combination of the light emission intensity and the light emission period. It is desirable that what light emission mode corresponds to what notification information is a light emission mode that is easy to understand intuitively, and it is desirable that the light emission mode is well known in advance. In particular, if the information is made known to a hearing impaired person in advance, the notification information can be transmitted more accurately.
In the case of sensor notification or non-fire, a light emission mode using continuous light emission for a certain period other than instantaneous light emission such as flash light emission may be used. FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating a light emission pattern of the
For example, when the
The light emitted by the
