Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for repairing an existing steady rest structure.
When existing braces that are already installed on a steel structure such as a plant are to be buckled and subjected to seismic reinforcement (seismic retrofit, seismic reinforcement, etc.), it is most common to replace the existing braces with seismic braces. It is. However, if these braces cannot be replaced or repaired, the seismic performance cannot be improved.
On the other hand, many proposals have been made to install an anti-rest structure on a new support structure so as to reduce the earthquake response level (for example,
Depending on the level of seismic performance required, for example, it is possible to improve the seismic performance by absorbing energy in an existing anti-rest structure already installed between the equipment and the support structure made of steel.
Therefore, the present invention provides a stable plastic deformation and energy absorption performance in the event of an earthquake, by modifying an existing steady rest structure, so that it will not be damaged when a simple elastic steady rest or excessive external force is applied. The purpose is to provide a method for repairing the structure.
The steady-rest structure includes two elements, a female-side steady-state element (hereinafter sometimes abbreviated as female element) and a male-side steady-state element (hereinafter sometimes abbreviated as male element). It is assumed that For example, the female element may be integrated with the main part of the steel structure to be very strong. The female element may be composed of a pair of highly rigid steel frames or a pair of highly rigid walls. Conversely, the male element may be composed of a large and strong column with a steel structure. It can be difficult to modify these rigid male and female elements. Therefore, the present invention proposes a repair method for selecting a site that can be repaired and effectively using an existing member constituting an existing male element or female element as an energy absorbing member.
That is, the present invention is a modification method of an existing steadying structure including a female element and a male element, and constitutes a steadying element of at least one of the male element and the female element, and is an existing member that can be elastically deformed when an external force is applied. On the other hand, it is characterized by improving the elastic-plastic deformation performance and energy absorption performance and improving the seismic performance of the entire structure.
Hereinafter, a specific repair method according to the present invention will be described in the order of receiving bending deformation mainly and axial deformation mainly.
First, the construction method when the existing member of at least one steady rest element mainly receives bending deformation corresponds to the case where local buckling occurs due to bending deformation (the former), and the width of the cross section subjected to bending deformation. The response varies depending on the case where the thickness ratio is small and local buckling does not occur (the latter). The existing member corresponding to at least one of the male element and the female element is made of H-shaped steel including a web and a pair of flanges provided at both ends of the web, and receives a load in the width direction of the web. Bending deformation occurs.
In the former, a bending restraining member that restrains local buckling is assigned to a selected predetermined region of an existing member.
In the latter, the specific part of the existing member is cut to reduce the horizontal proof stress, thereby adjusting the bending plasticity to occur in the specific part. In this case, a buckling restraining material can be provided around the excised specific part.
Next, when at least one of the steady rest elements is subjected to axial deformation by the existing member, the repair method is to provide a buckling restraining member on the existing member and an out-of-plane restraining member on the steady rest element. It is.
In this renovation method, the existing member corresponding to at least one of the male element and the female element includes a column erected from the base and a brace spanned between the column and the base, and receives a horizontal load. This causes axial deformation of the brace.
According to the present invention, a new member that exhibits stable elastic-plastic behavior against bending deformation, axial deformation, and the like and has stable energy absorption performance is provided in at least one of the male element and the female element, and the other is existing. By diverting the member, it is possible to efficiently improve the earthquake resistance performance while reducing the construction cost.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings.
[First Embodiment]
1st Embodiment shows the concept of the repair method of the steady rest common to 2nd Embodiment-6th Embodiment. As shown in FIG. 1 (a), the repair method is performed by using a
Each steady rest structure 4 includes two types of constituent members, a
As an example of the structural modification performed on the existing
As described above, according to the first embodiment, it is possible to efficiently improve the seismic performance as the entire structure system while reducing the construction cost.
In addition, an additional member exhibiting a stable elasto-plastic behavior against bending, shearing, axial deformation, etc. and having a stable energy absorption performance is installed on either the
In the following, a more specific repair method derived from the first embodiment will be described. This method relates to a steady state structure corresponding to shear deformation (second embodiment, third embodiment), bending break deformation. Can be divided into a form related to a steady rest structure (fourth embodiment, fifth embodiment) and a form related to a steady rest structure corresponding to axial deformation (sixth embodiment). Hereinafter, it demonstrates in order.
[Second Embodiment]
The second embodiment is a renovation method in which a part of an existing steady rest structure that is mainly caused by shear deformation is removed by cutting, and an additional member is assigned to the removed portion. The second embodiment is applied in the case where the existing steady rest structure has a too high yield strength and is not easily deformed.

According to the repair method of the second embodiment described above, as shown in the diagram of FIG. 2 (c), stable repetitive deformation performance can be ensured and the earthquake resistance as the entire structural system is optimized. It becomes possible to plasticize with a load. On the other hand, before the repair, buckling occurs due to an excessive load as shown in FIG.
Moreover, according to the repair method of 2nd Embodiment, the construction man-hour at the field can be reduced rather than exchanging the whole

The
As shown in FIG. 4A, the

[Fourth Embodiment]
The fourth embodiment relates to a refurbishing method in which, in an existing steady rest structure in which bending deformation mainly occurs, a member that restrains local buckling is additionally provided at a site where local buckling can occur due to bending deformation. Hereinafter, the fourth embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 6 and 7.
In the fourth embodiment, as shown in FIG. 6, a description will be given of a

As shown in FIGS. 7B and 7C, the restraining

Needless to say, in the case of the steady rest structure in which both bending deformation and shear deformation occur equally, the modification corresponding to the shear deformation shown in the third embodiment and the fourth embodiment can be performed together. The same applies to the fifth and sixth embodiments described below.
[Fifth Embodiment]
In the existing steady rest structure in which bending deformation mainly occurs, the fifth embodiment is partially deleted so as to limit the portion that plasticizes with bending deformation, and plasticization that accompanies bending deformation is performed at the deleted portion. It relates to the repair method to be generated. The fifth embodiment will be described below with reference to FIG.

In the repair method according to the fifth embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 8A to 8D, a part of the
Next, with reference to FIG.8 (e), the effect | action and effect of 5th Embodiment are demonstrated.
The horizontal force when plasticizing can be set by the bending moment of the plasticizing part. When plasticizing at the base of the member, the horizontal load to be plasticized is determined by the bending strength / height (distance from the base to the load application point) of the base cross section. Therefore, when it is desired to reduce the horizontal yield strength, the distance to the load application point may be increased or the bending strength may be reduced. This embodiment employs the latter.
If the base section is partially cut, the horizontal strength can be reduced. In addition, the middle part of the member is cut in cross section, and the horizontal yield strength is calculated from the bending strength / height (distance from the target site to the load application point) of the portion, which should be smaller than the bending strength / height of the base. For example, it can be plasticized at the intermediate portion.
Based on the above, reference is made to FIG. Before the repair, the moment exceeds the proof stress at the joint portion with the
The merit of plasticizing at the intermediate portion in the
The fifth embodiment can be modified as follows.
That is, in the fifth embodiment, as shown in FIG. 9, a buckling restraining
The buckling restraining
When the buckling restraining

[Sixth Embodiment]
According to the sixth embodiment, in the existing steadying
As shown in FIG. 10A, the
In the repair method according to the sixth embodiment, as shown in FIG. 10B, buckling
On the other hand, the
When a load is applied in the horizontal direction in this state, a deformation in a direction in which the truss structure falls in an out-of-plane direction of the truss structure occurs. Therefore, the renovation method of this embodiment suppresses the unstable deformation in the out-of-plane direction, and provides the out-of-
The sixth embodiment can also be applied to the case where the
According to the repair method of the sixth embodiment, by restraining the buckling of the

For example, the steady rest structure is always composed of a pair of a
In addition, although the above description has been made on the assumption that the existing steadying structure is modified, it is needless to say that the same construction method can be applied to the new steadying structure.
