An excretory opening contact area facing the excretion opening of the wearer;
A rear region located on the rear side of the excretory opening contact region;
An absorbent article having the excretory opening contact area and the absorbent core disposed in the rear side area,
The rear side region is provided with a hip flap extending outward in the width direction from the outer edge of the absorption core of the excretory opening contact region,
The absorbent core has a width slit extending in a width direction of the absorbent article between the excretory opening contact area and the rear side area. The absorbent core of the rear zone, has a second and third regions positioned respectively the first region, on the outside in the width direction of the first region,

The excretory opening contact region has a domed section positioned inside in the width direction than the outer edge of the absorbent core,
