(2)記録材に画像を形成する画像形成装置において、被冷却部を冷却するための冷却手段と、前記冷却手段の単位時間当たりの回転数を制御する制御手段と、を有し、前記制御手段は、画像形成動作の期間における前記冷却手段の回転数を段階的に大きくしていく周期を、前記画像形成動作が開始される前に前記冷却手段が回転していた時間もしくは前記冷却手段が停止していた時間に基づき決定することを特徴とする画像形成装置。
(3)記録材に画像を形成する画像形成装置において、被冷却部を冷却するための冷却手段と、前記冷却手段の単位時間当たりの回転数を制御する制御手段と、を有し、第1の画像形成動作が終了した場合、前記制御手段は、前記冷却手段を第1の回転数で回転させた後、前記冷却手段を前記第1の回転数よりも小さい第2の回転数で回転させ、前記冷却手段が前記第1の回転数で回転している期間に第2の画像形成動作が開始する場合、前記制御手段は、前記冷却手段が前記第2の回転数で回転している期間に前記第2の画像形成動作が開始する場合に比べて、前記第2の画像形成動作が開始する時の前記冷却手段の回転数を大きい回転数に設定することを特徴とする画像形成装置。
