Description

The present invention relates to determining the progress of smoking cessation, increasing the motivation for quitting smoking, and measuring and managing patience for the desire to smoke.

Conventionally, the success or failure of smoking cessation has often been attributed to the high awareness of quitters, and it is common to rely on a strong will to continue to quit smoking. In order to increase motivation for quitting smoking, specialists such as group therapy and smoking cessation outpatients are also instructed. In addition, gums and patches for relieving nicotine withdrawal symptoms are known.
In some cases, when a program is started, a message for diverting a smoking desire selected from preselected options in a database is displayed (see Patent Document 1).
In addition, there is a smoking cessation support device characterized in that when a smoking desire is predicted, a program is activated and a message for checking smoking is displayed (see Patent Document 2).
At the end of the day, the total number of smoking desires is calculated based on the number of times the desire is felt and the degree of desire. There is a method of summing up the total number of daily smoking desires and visualizing changes in daily smoking desire as a graph (see Patent Document 3).

Improving motivation to quit smoking is important, such as how to save tobacco costs and cigarette packages that include health effects. For non-smokers, there are uncertain concerns and doubts about how long they will continue to suffer from smoking, whether smoking cessation is progressing smoothly, or whether this is ok.
In addition, perseverance in smoking cessation is indispensable for smoking cessation, and if this perseverance increases, it helps to overcome withdrawal symptoms associated with smoking cessation. However, there was no training method to increase patience.
In the medical field, there are common evaluation scales such as weight and blood pressure, and these evaluation scales are used for patient self-management and diagnosis and guidance by doctors. Similarly, measuring the ability to resist smoking desire is also useful for smoking cessation treatment. However, no attempt has been made to measure or quantify to make a fair decision.
The present invention has been made to solve the above problems.

Provide a start button and a stop button for counting seconds in the smartphone application. In addition, a numerical display indicating the number of elapsed seconds and a gauge are provided on the screen. Then, a function is provided for recording, calculating, and comparing elapsed seconds data using a non-smoking patience table, and presenting numerical transitions and graphs using an equation that converts the elapsed seconds into patience.
A device that supports smoking cessation with the above configuration.

In the present invention, the perseverance to the smoking desire, which is the biggest problem of quitting smoking, can be improved. Humans have a sense of improvement, and the psychology that they want to improve during counting works. For this reason, the motivation for smoking cessation will further increase and the figures will improve. The lack of neurotransmitter dopamine causes smoking cravings. Because patience always improves, users will experience a successful experience. Successful experiences promote dopamine secretion, thus reducing the need for smoking due to lack of dopamine.
Also, smoking appetite usually disappears within 3 minutes. In other words, the desire to smoke disappears while concentrating on the act of reciting the count while checking the count screen.
The desire to smoke is a smoking habit, and smoking habits can be improved by repeatedly focusing on smoking cessation. This invention stimulates the visual cortex, auditory cortex, speech cortex, and motor cortex by reciting the count while checking the smartphone count screen, and information integration work is performed, so the cerebrum is activated and deeply quits smoking You can pay attention to.
Thereby, perseverance with respect to the smoking desire is strengthened, and the probability of quitting smoking can be improved.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below.
(A) A smartphone is provided with (1) a count start button, (2) a count stop button, (3) an elapsed seconds count screen, and (4) a count gauge.
(B) A column for (5) Date, (6) Number of seconds until quitting desire for quitting, (7) Number of occurrences of quitting cessation, and (8) Endurance column are provided in the quit smoking patience table.
(C) The vertical axis of the non-smoking patience graph will be (9) patience and the horizontal axis will be (10) date.
The present invention has the above structure.
When using the present invention, each time a desire for smoking occurs, (a) launch a smartphone application, (1) touch the count start button, (3) elapsed seconds count screen and (4) count gauge elapsed seconds The number is displayed. At the same time, the sound count flows from the speaker. The user sings along with the count sound while viewing the screen.
(B) The date of the day is automatically entered in the (5) Date column of the quit smoking patience table. (6) The total number of seconds counted on the day is calculated and entered in the number of seconds until cancellation of quit smoking desire. On the same day, the number of times the desire to quit smoking is automatically counted in the (7) Number of quitting smoking desire occurrence column. (Number of seconds until cancellation of quit smoking desire + number of seconds until cancellation of quit smoking desire) / Number of seconds until cancellation of quit cessation × 100 is the patience, and (8) Patience column Is displayed.
For example, (b) looking at November 1 of the quit smoking endurance table, the number of seconds until the desire to quit smoking is 400, and the numerical value obtained by reversing the number of seconds until the desire to quit smoking is -400. Substituting this into the equation yields (400 + (− 400)) / 400 × 100 = 0. On November 7, it is (400 + (− 320)) / 400 × 100 = 20.
The graph of daily patience obtained in this way is the (iii) non-smoking patience graph.
