Description
Claims (17)
- 航空機の機上のパイロットまたは操縦室の乗組員に、調節された酸素の流れを供給するためのシステムであって、
初期の段階において酸素を迅速に供給するように構成された第1の機上酸素供給器と、
後の段階において酸素を供給するように構成された第2の機上酸素供給器と、
前記第1の機上酸素供給器および前記第2の機上酸素供給器を制御するように構成されたコントローラと、
を備えるシステム。 - 前記第2の機上酸素供給器が、分子ふるい酸素発生器を備える請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の機上酸素供給器が、固体電解質酸素分離器を備える請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の機上酸素供給器が、固体電解質酸素分離器をさらに備える請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の機上酸素供給器が、セラミック酸素発生器を備える請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の機上酸素供給器が、加圧された酸素のシリンダを備える請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の機上酸素供給器が、化学式の酸素発生器を備える請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の機上酸素供給器が、95%以上の酸素濃度を有する第1のガスの流れを供給するように構成されている請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の機上酸素供給器が、圧力スイング吸着酸素発生器を備える請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の機上酸素供給器が、透過膜を備える請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の機上酸素供給器および前記第2の機上酸素供給器の両方へと接続されたパルス状酸素送出サブシステムをさらに備え、
前記パルス状酸素送出サブシステムが、検出される呼吸パターンおよび生理的な要件にもとづいてパイロットまたは操縦室の乗組員への酸素の流れを調節するように構成されている請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記パルス状酸素送出サブシステムへと接続された呼吸マスクをさらに備え、
前記呼吸マスクが、前記パルス状酸素送出サブシステムからパイロットまたは操縦室の乗組員へと前記呼吸マスクを介して酸素を供給するように構成されている請求項11に記載のシステム。 - 前記パルス状酸素送出サブシステムに連絡した関係の少なくとも1つのセンサをさらに備え、
前記センサが、パイロットまたは操縦室の乗組員の呼吸サイクルの吸入段階を示すために圧力低下を検出するように構成されている請求項12に記載のシステム。 - 前記コントローラが、以下のパラメータ、すなわち前記第1の機上酸素供給器または前記第2の機上酸素供給器へと供給される空気の流量、前記第1の機上酸素供給器の温度、前記第2の機上酸素供給器の温度、前記第1の機上酸素供給器の圧力、および前記第2の機上酸素供給器の圧力のうちの少なくとも1つを調節することによって性能を最適化するように構成されている請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の機上酸素供給器からの酸素の供給の前記初期の段階における航空機の高度が、30,000フィートよりも高い請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 航空機の機上のパイロット用または操縦室の乗組員用を含む、調節された酸素の流れを供給するためのシステムであって、
初期の段階において酸素を供給するように構成された第1の機上酸素供給器と、
少なくとも1つの機上酸素発生器を備えている第2の機上酸素供給器と、
前記第1の機上酸素供給器および前記第2の機上酸素供給器の両方へと電気的に接続され、前記第1の機上酸素供給器および前記第2の機上酸素供給器の両方を制御するように構成されたコントローラと、
前記第1の機上酸素供給器、前記第2の機上酸素供給器、および前記コントローラへと接続され、前記第1の機上酸素供給器および前記第2の機上酸素供給器の下流に位置するパルス状酸素送出サブシステムと、
前記パルス状酸素送出サブシステムへと接続され、前記パルス状酸素送出サブシステムの下流に位置するパイロットまたは操縦室の乗組員のための呼吸マスクと、
を備えており、
前記パルス状酸素送出サブシステムが、パイロットまたは操縦室の乗組員の検出される呼吸パターンおよび生理的な要件にもとづいて前記呼吸マスクへの酸素の流れを調節するように構成されているシステム。 - 航空機の機上のパイロットまたは操縦室の乗組員に、調節された酸素の流れを供給するための方法であって、
加圧された酸素のシリンダ、化学式の酸素発生器、および加圧された酸素のシリンダと化学式の酸素発生器との組み合わせで構成されるグループから選択される第1の機上酸素供給器から30,000フィートを上回る高い高度において酸素の初期の流れを開始させるために第1のシステムを作動させるステップと、
90%以上の酸素濃度を有する第1のガスの流れを供給するように構成された第1の機上酸素発生器、99%以上の酸素濃度を有する第2のガスの流れを供給するように構成された第2の機上酸素発生器、および前記第1の機上酸素発生器と前記第2の機上酸素発生器との組み合わせで構成されるグループから選択される第2の機上酸素供給器から酸素の後の流れを開始させるために第2のシステムを作動させるステップと、
前記第2のシステムから供給される酸素を前記第1のシステムから供給される酸素と統合するステップと、
前記第2のシステムが酸素の供給の要件を満たすことができる場合に、前記第1のシステムを停止させるステップと、
パイロットまたは操縦室の乗組員の呼吸パターンを検出するステップと、
パイロットまたは操縦室の乗組員の呼吸マスクへの酸素の流れを、検出される呼吸パターンおよび生理的な要件にもとづいて酸素の流量を変化させるように構成されたパルス状酸素送出サブシステムを介して前記第1のシステムまたは前記第2のシステムから前記マスクへと酸素をもたらすことによって、調節するステップと、
を含む方法。
