4. The fretting rust-preventing solution according to 3, wherein at least one compound contains tri-alkylborate, and the alkyl group is one of an isopropyl group and an n-propyl group.

The anti-fretting rust inhibitor solution according to 1, wherein at least one compound is surface active with steel to produce a low shear rate compatible layer of molybdenum disulfide.

The anti-fretting rust preventive solution according to 6, wherein at least one compound comprises molybdenum dithiophosphate.

The anti-fretting rust inhibitor solution of 1, wherein the amount of anti-fretting additive is at least 0.5 percent and less than 50 volume percent.

The anti-fretting rust inhibitor solution of 1, wherein the amount of anti-fretting additive is from about 1 percent to about 10 volume percent.

The anti-fretting rust inhibitor solution of 1, wherein the amount of anti-fretting additive is about 5 volume percent.

A bearing assembly having anti-fretting characteristics, the bearing assembly comprising:
A ring fixed to the mating part with an interference fit;
Anti-fretting anti-rust solution provided for at least an interference fit
The anti-fretting rust inhibitor solution includes an anti-rust solution and an anti-fretting additive dissolved in the anti-rust solution, the anti-fretting additive is surface active with steel to produce a low shear rate compatible layer. A bearing assembly comprising at least one compound.

12. The bearing assembly according to 11, wherein the at least one compound is surface active with steel to produce a low shear rate compatible layer of molybdenum disulfide.

17. A bearing assembly according to 16, wherein the at least one compound comprises molybdenum dithiophosphate.

12. A bearing assembly according to 11, wherein the amount of anti-fretting additive is at least 0.5 percent and less than 50 volume percent.

12. The bearing assembly according to 11, wherein the amount of anti-fretting additive is from about 1 percent to about 10 volume percent.
