Claims (12)
- 小セル(C1)によってサービスされる移動局(UEX)の送信電力を制御する方法であって、
前記移動局による隣接するマクロ・セル(C2)に向かうハンドオーバ条件のやがて来る満足を予想する測定イベントを検出するステップと、
その後、前記ハンドオーバ条件が最終的に前記移動局によって満足されるとき送信電力ターゲット(P_Target)に達するように前記移動局の送信電力レベルを徐々に増やすステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記ハンドオーバ条件は、これによって前記マクロ・セルが第1の正のハンドオーバ・オフセット(OFF1)だけ前記小セルより良好にオフセットされるものとして測定される条件であり、これによって、前記マクロ・セルに向かうハンドオーバについて前記小セル内で基準受信信号強度または品質しきい値(HOT)が作られ、
前記測定イベントは、これによって前記小セル内の前記移動局の現在の受信強度または品質レベル(Ec/No)がハンドオーバ予想しきい値(HOA)未満であるものとして測定された測定イベントであり、前記ハンドオーバ予想しきい値は、前記基準受信信号強度または品質しきい値と第2の正の予想オフセット(OFF2)との合計である、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記送信電力ターゲットは、前記マクロ・セル内の前記移動局の推定されたダウンリンク経路損を補償するためのものである、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記送信電力ターゲットは、公称ダウンリンク送信電力で前記マクロ・セル内でブロードキャストされた基準パイロット信号の受信信号強度を測定することによって判定される、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記送信電力の前記徐々の増加は、前記小セル内の前記移動局の現在の受信強度または品質レベル(Ec/No)の単調減少関数である、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記送信電力の前記徐々の増加は、前記測定イベントが検出される時に前記小セル内の前記移動局によって使用される初期送信電力(P_Start)から前記送信電力ターゲットまでの線形電力増加(MO=1)に対応する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記送信電力の前記徐々の増加は、前記測定イベントが検出される時に前記小セル内の前記移動局によって使用される初期送信電力(P_Start)から前記送信電力ターゲットまでの2次以上の多項式電力増加(MO>1)に対応する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、前記マクロ・セルに向かうハンドオーバが前記測定イベントの検出時にトリガされるハンドオーバ確認時間期間中に前記移動局について行われない場合に、前記移動局の前記送信電力レベルの前記増加を撤回するステップをさらに含む、請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 小セル(C1)によってサービスされる移動局(UEX)の送信電力を制御する送信電力コントローラ(150)であって、前記移動局による隣接するマクロ・セル(C2)に向かうハンドオーバ条件のやがて来る満足を予想する測定イベントを検出し、
その後、前記ハンドオーバ条件が最終的に前記移動局によって満足されるとき送信電力ターゲット(P_Target)に達するように前記移動局の送信電力レベルを徐々に増やすように構成された送信電力コントローラ(150)。 - 請求項9に記載の送信電力コントローラ(150)を含み、前記小セルを動作させるように構成された無線アクセス・ポイント(100)。
- 前記無線アクセス・ポイントは、フェムト基地局である、請求項10に記載の無線アクセス・ポイント(100)。
- 前記無線アクセス・ポイントは、ピコ基地局、メトロ基地局、またはマイクロ基地局である、請求項10に記載の無線アクセス・ポイント(100)。
