Claims (3)
- センター側に配置された複数のCMTSと、光伝送路からの上り光信号を上り電気信号に変換して各前記CMTSに出力するO/E変換器と、を有した光通信システムにおいて、
前記O/E変換器近傍の前記光伝送路に、前記上り光信号を無偏光にする偏波スクランブラが挿入されている、
ことを特徴とする光通信システム。 - 光通信システムにおいてOBIにより発生するCN比悪化を抑制する方法において、
上り光信号を無偏光とした後、上り光信号を上り電気信号に変換する、
ことを特徴とするCN比悪化抑制方法。 - 通信サービスがそれぞれ異なる複数のCMTSと、光伝送路からの上り光信号を上り電気信号に変換して前記CMTSに出力するO/E変換器と、をセンター側に有した光通信システムに用いるものであって、前記光伝送路の前記O/E変換器近傍に挿入して用いられ、前記上り光信号を無偏光にして前記O/E変換器に出力する偏波スクランブラ。
