Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a data transmission device and a data reception device that perform data communication using sound in a voice frequency band.
In recent years, electronic devices have been improved in performance and price. For example, an LED light-emitting device having a flashing function rich in variations, which was unthinkable in the past, can be obtained at a low price of around 100 yen.
However, in order to perform data communication, an accessory device other than the LED issuing instrument is required, and thus it is difficult to realize it with a low-cost electronic circuit as described above.
The inventor has developed an apparatus for measuring the amount of ultraviolet rays as an accessory applied to a smartphone (portable wireless terminal) that has become widespread in recent years. Since various communication means are built in the portable wireless terminal, at first glance, it seems easy to transmit the measured amount of ultraviolet ray data to the portable wireless terminal. However, when data communication is performed using the communication function provided in the portable wireless terminal, the following problems occur.
First, wireless LAN and BlueTooth (registered trademark) devices are expensive and consume large power. In addition, prior to communication, various settings are required in advance, which is inconvenient.
IrDA (Infrared Data Association) using infrared rays is not equipped in some terminals, and the light emitting element on the transmission side and the light receiving element on the reception side must be firmly opposed to each other without a shield.
As described above, when data communication is performed using the communication function provided in the portable wireless terminal, inconveniences such as an expensive circuit and poor usability occur.
The cheapest communication means is a wired USB cable, but it is complicated because it is wired, and is not easy to use. There is also a possibility of cable disconnection.
SUMMARY An advantage of some aspects of the invention is that it provides a data transmission device and a data reception device that can easily realize data communication with an extremely simple and inexpensive circuit configuration.
In order to solve the above-described problems, a data transmission apparatus according to the present invention includes an encoder that converts data into a rectangular wave signal, and a single natural vibration that receives the rectangular wave signal and generates a sound at the edge of the rectangular wave signal. And a sounding body that has a peak in frequency and emits a damping vibration.
In order to solve the above problems, a data receiving apparatus according to the present invention includes a microphone, an A / D converter that converts an audio signal output from the microphone into digital audio data, and a peak at a single natural vibration frequency. And a waveform correlation processing unit that calculates the correlation between the waveform data of a sounding body that emits vibrations that attenuate and sound data, and a decoder that outputs data based on the correlation data output by the waveform correlation processing unit; It comprises.
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a data transmission device and a data reception device that can easily realize data communication with a very simple and inexpensive circuit configuration.
Problems, configurations, and effects other than those described above will be clarified by the following description of embodiments.

The photosensitive color changing plate 105 is an acrylic plate coated with a photochromic dye. The photochromic dye used in photochromic glass such as sunglasses has a reversible color change property that changes to gray or black when absorbing ultraviolet rays and returns to discoloration when no ultraviolet rays are irradiated. The stronger the ultraviolet rays, the darker the photochromic dye. The

FIG. 3A is a graph showing frequency characteristics of the
The frequency characteristics of the
There are various modulation methods for data communication in the audio frequency band, such as frequency shift keying and phase shift keying. These modulation methods will increase the data transfer rate. The more bandwidth is required. On-off modulation, which may have a narrow bandwidth, is not practical because the data transfer rate is as low as about 100 bps.
Therefore, in the ultraviolet ray
FIG. 3B shows a rectangular wave signal (a) applied to the
When the rising part of the ringing is converted into a pulse, a waveform as shown in (c) is obtained. When the signal shown in (c) is given to the mono-multi, a rectangular wave having the same waveform as (a) can be reproduced as shown in (d).
In the signal waveform shown in FIG. 3B, it is not known which time point is the high potential portion or the low potential portion of the original signal. Therefore, there is a possibility that the waveform of (d) has an opposite phase to the waveform of (a). However, the ultraviolet light

FIG. 4B is a signal waveform obtained by partially expanding the waveform of FIG. 4A. However, the amplitude is reduced for the convenience of the drawing. From FIG. 4B, it can be seen that the ringing waveform is a damped oscillation and has a substantially constant frequency. This frequency is a natural vibration frequency of the diaphragm of the

The voice data communication realized by the ultraviolet ray
Communication between the ultraviolet light
The only possible disadvantage is that the calculation processing on the receiving side (data receiving device) is enormous compared to the calculation processing on the transmitting side (ultraviolet ray amount measuring device 102). However, most smartphones have such a high computing capacity as to provide a compressed audio data playback function such as MP3. The process of the waveform
Above all, the ultraviolet ray
In the embodiment described above, the following application examples are possible.
(1) The portable wireless terminal 101 can also function as a data transmission device similar to the ultraviolet light
FIG. 7 is a functional block diagram of the portable wireless terminal 101 as the data transmitting apparatus. The block diagram of the hardware configuration is the same as FIG. 5A.
In the case of the ultraviolet ray
The portable wireless terminal 101 can function as both a data transmission device and a data reception device according to the communication method of the present embodiment. That is, the communication method of the present embodiment can be used as a simple data transmission / reception means that replaces IrDA.
The number of smartphones and future phones that are not equipped with IrDA is increasing. The communication method of the present embodiment can realize simple data exchange such as a telephone number or a digital business card even when the portable wireless terminal 101 without IrDA is the other party.
(2) In the above-described embodiment, the ultraviolet ray
(3) The data modulation method is not limited to pulse width modulation. Various digital modulations such as 8-14 modulation well-known for optical disks and the like can be used.
(4) The speaker used for the data transmission device is not necessarily the
The data transmitting apparatus of the present embodiment can be used as long as it is a sounding body that has a narrow frequency band, has a strong peak at a single natural vibration frequency, and emits vibration that attenuates in a short time.
