本発明の要旨は、下記<1>〜<5>に示す通りである。

上記Liと合金化可能な金属粒子表面が下記(1)式で表される化合物、下記(2)式で表される化合物及びこれらの加水分解物のうちの少なくとも1つにより修飾されていることを特徴とする非水系二次電池負極用黒鉛粒子。
