正常ヒト線繊維芽細胞５０００ ｃｅｌｌｓ／ｗｅｌｌに上記各抽出液を蒸発残分として１質量％の濃度となるように添加して、３７℃、５％ＣＯ２条件下で４８時間培養した。培養後、ｍＲＮＡを回収して、ＲＴ−ＰＣＲでバーシカンのｍＲＮＡ発現量を測定した。なお、発現量は、内部標準物質を基準に算出した。また、対照として、抽出液の代わりに５０％エタノールを添加した対照（コントロール）、及び陽性対照として抗老化作用を有するＴＧＦ−βを２ｎｇ添加した場合について、同様にｍＲＮＡ発現量を測定した。結果を図１及び図２に示す。
