The present invention relates to a headrest for a vehicle seat. More specifically, the present invention relates to a vehicle seat headrest that has been improved to suppress the occurrence of whiplash.
Conventionally, it is widely known to employ a headrest for a vehicle seat. It is also known to provide a headrest by combining a portion fixed to the seat back and a portion that can move up and down with respect to the seat back (Patent Document 1).
With the headrest having the structure described in Patent Document 1, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of lashing in the occupant even when the vehicle has a rear collision (hereinafter referred to as “rear collision”). .
However, there is still room for improvement in the technique described in Patent Document 1. The technique described in Patent Document 1 requires a head mechanism with a slide mechanism, a lock device, and the like, and has a complicated structure.
The present invention was devised in view of the above points, and the problem to be solved by the present invention is that it is possible to suppress the occurrence of whiplash even in a headrest not provided with a slide mechanism or a lock device. There is.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention takes the following means.
First, a first invention is a vehicle seat headrest having a fixed headrest portion serving as a base, a movable headrest portion movable upward and / or downward relative to the fixed headrest portion, and a headrest cover. The inner portion of the headrest cover, and between the fixed headrest portion and the movable headrest portion, at least a connecting portion used for connecting the fixed headrest portion and the movable headrest portion, and a connecting portion And a weakened portion having a lower rigidity than that of the connecting area. The weakened portion constitutes at least a part of the edge of the connected area, and the center of the connected area is at least a part of the connecting portion. The weak part is located on the side.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a vehicle seat having a fixed headrest portion serving as a base, a movable headrest portion movable upward and / or downward with respect to the fixed headrest portion, and a headrest cover. A headrest, a connecting portion used to connect at least the fixed headrest portion and the movable headrest portion between the fixed headrest portion and the movable headrest portion, and the inside of the headrest cover; And a weakened portion having a lower rigidity than the portion, the weakened portion constitutes at least a part of the edge of the connected area, and at least a portion of the connected area than the part of the connecting portion. Since the fragile part is located on the center side, the movable headrest part is easy to move upward and / or downward, and a slide mechanism, a locking device, etc. are installed. There is no need for that.
The second invention is characterized in that, in the first invention, a plurality of connecting portions are arranged at intervals in the vertical direction.
According to the second invention, since a plurality of connecting portions in the first invention are arranged at intervals in the vertical direction, the connecting portions can be easily tilted upward and / or downward. is there. Moreover, it is possible to make the supporting force with respect to the load applied from the front to the rear relatively high.
A third invention is characterized in that, in the first or second invention, a rigid member having higher rigidity than a member used for the connecting portion is disposed in front of the connecting portion in the movable side headrest portion.
According to the third aspect of the invention, the movable side headrest portion in the first or second aspect is provided with the rigid member having higher rigidity than the member used for the joint portion in front of the joint portion. It is possible to suppress the local crushing and to make the structure easy to fall down in the upward and / or downward direction.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the first to third aspects, the connecting portion is formed in a band shape, and the width of the end portion on the fixed side headrest portion side is the movable side headrest portion. It is characterized by being narrower than the vertical width of the end portion on the side.
According to the fourth aspect of the invention, the connecting portion in the first to third aspects is formed in a band shape, and the width of the end portion on the fixed side headrest portion side of the band-like connecting portion is movable. Since the width in the vertical direction of the end portion on the headrest side is narrower, the fragile portion can be easily tilted upward and / or downward.
According to the present invention, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of whiplash even with a headrest that is not provided with a slide mechanism.

The
In the present embodiment, the fixed-
The connecting
The
The connecting
It is desirable that the connecting
For this reason, moderate rigidity is provided so that the connecting

As mentioned above, although demonstrated using the specific example, this invention can be implemented with other various forms besides the said embodiment.
For example, the present invention can be applied to a so-called active headrest having a front movable side portion on the front side of the headrest. In this case, the configuration of the headrest pad at the portion that can be moved forward can be configured by the movable side pad portion, the connecting portion, and the fixed side pad portion as in the present embodiment. In this case, the portion corresponding to the movable pad portion provided in the portion movable forward is the movable headrest portion, the portion corresponding to the connecting portion is the connection area, and the portion connected to the connecting portion. The portion connected to the seat back from the front corresponds to the fixed-side headrest portion.
In addition, a blocking member is not the only way to suppress the occurrence of streaks in the headrest cover due to the recesses provided in the connection area. For example, by increasing the thickness of the headrest cover, it is also possible to suppress the occurrence of streaks in the headrest cover due to the recesses. In this case, the thickness of the entire headrest cover may be increased, or the portion adjacent to the recess may be made thicker than other portions.
In addition, the closing member such as urethane disposed in the recess provided in the connection area may not be provided above and below the headrest. For example, it is also possible to provide only in the upper part that is easily visible.
Further, the connection area is not limited to providing strip-shaped connecting portions in parallel at intervals. For example, a pad member having a lower rigidity than the pad member used for the movable headrest portion can be disposed in a portion corresponding to the space of the embodiment. Even if it is such an aspect, the vulnerability of a connection area is ensured, and also a headrest cover and a headrest pad can be formed integrally. Specifically, after a low-rigidity pad, a headrest cover, and a receiving member that are arranged at a predetermined interval from the headrest stay are arranged in a foaming mold, a resin that forms the main part of the headrest pad is formed inside the pad. If foam molding is performed, the headrest cover and the headrest pad can be integrated. In the case of such a form, the portion having the same rigidity as the pad member used for the movable headrest portion located in the connection area is a connecting portion, and the pad has a lower rigidity than the pad member used for the movable headrest portion. The part of the member is a fragile part.
In addition, the connecting portion is not in a shape extending horizontally, and the connecting portion may be inclined in the vertical direction. For example, it is possible to adopt a configuration in which a portion connected to the movable pad portion of one connecting portion is positioned above a portion connected to the fixed pad portion.
Further, in the present embodiment, the movable headrest portion is configured to be movable upward and downward from the normal state, but is configured to be movable only upward or downward from the normal state. Also good.
Moreover, it is also possible not to provide a recessed part in a connection area. In this case, it is preferable to reduce the thickness of the connecting portions located at the upper and lower ends so that the connecting portions are easily tilted.
In addition, the space provided in the connection area may not be configured to penetrate from side to side, and the number, shape, size, and the like thereof can be determined as appropriate.
Moreover, the part with the thinnest thickness in the vertical direction is not limited to the part connected to the fixed pad portion. For example, it is possible to make the thickness of the central portion in the front-rear direction of the joint portion the smallest or make the other portions the thinnest. However, it is desirable to make the portion where the connecting portion is connected to the fixed-side pad portion the thinnest because the connecting portion easily tilts.
Further, the fixed-side headrest portion, the movable-side headrest portion, and the connection area may not be formed at a time. For example, the movable side headrest part and / or the fixed side headrest part may be formed as a separate member first, and the separate member may be placed in a foaming mold and then integrally foamed.
Further, the side surface of the headrest cover need not be configured using a knitted structure. Since it only needs to have a desired stretchability, it is also possible to use a cloth configured using a chemical fiber having stretchability.
Also, there is no need to configure the entire side surface of the headrest cover with a stretchable member, and it is possible to make the entire side surface stretchable by using a partially stretchable material. .
In addition, the fragile part is exemplified by a cavity or a member having rigidity lower than that of the periphery, but in a range that can fulfill its purpose, any part of any form is adopted. It doesn't matter.
Further, the vehicle is not limited to being a vehicle, and may be a vehicle that moves in the air such as an airplane or a helicopter, or a vehicle that moves on the sea surface or in the sea such as a ship or a submersible.
