The present invention relates to a wireless communication technique, and more particularly to a wireless communication apparatus provided with a clip-type antenna.
2. Description of the Related Art A portable wireless device having a clip that is detachably fixed to an attachment such as clothing has been proposed. In such a portable wireless device, a clip is formed of resin, and a conductive material provided in a loop shape in the resin is used as an antenna (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
A portable wireless device having a clip-type antenna is assumed to be attached to a human body. Therefore, it is necessary to further improve the antenna performance when it is worn on the human body. On the other hand, a simple configuration is desired in order to suppress the cost increase of the portable wireless device.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a technique for improving the antenna performance of a clip-type antenna with a simple configuration.
In order to solve the above problems, a wireless communication device according to an aspect of the present invention includes a housing in which a wireless communication circuit is provided, a clip that functions as an antenna of the wireless communication circuit and has a substantially L-shaped cross section. Is provided. The clip is connected to one surface of the housing at one end side of the substantially L shape and is brought into contact with one surface of the housing at the other end side of the substantially L shape. (1) the first circuit of the wireless communication circuit, (2) the first substrate on which the first circuit is mounted, and (3) the wireless communication circuit, A second circuit different from the first circuit, and (4) a second substrate on which the second circuit is mounted are arranged at least in order, and the first circuit is connected to one end of a substantially L-shaped clip. It arrange | positions between the 1st part and the 2nd part in the direction which goes to the 2nd part which the other end side of the substantially L shape in a clip contacts from 1 part.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, in a clip type antenna, antenna performance can be improved, setting it as a simple structure.
ここで、歩者間通信はITS(Intelligent Transport Systems)によって実現され、無線周波数として例えば「700MHz帯」が使用される。位置情報の取得は、GPS(Global Positioning System)によってなされ、無線周波数として「1.5GHz帯」が使用される。
Example 1
Before specifically describing Example 1 of the present invention, an outline of this example will be described. Example 1 relates to a portable terminal device that uses a clip that holds a casing as an antenna. In recent years, practical application of an inter-vehicle communication system, which is one of safe driving support systems, has been studied. Inter-walk communication is wireless communication performed between a portable terminal device carried by a pedestrian and an in-vehicle terminal device mounted on a car. The portable terminal device informs the vehicle-mounted terminal device of the presence or position information of a pedestrian and alerts the driver. In this way, support for reducing the risk of traffic accidents is aimed at. Here, the communication between pedestrians is realized by ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems), and for example, a “700 MHz band” is used as a radio frequency. The position information is acquired by GPS (Global Positioning System), and the “1.5 GHz band” is used as a radio frequency. In the following, the use of the 700 MHz band will be described.
As a pedestrian carrying a portable terminal device, particularly a child or an elderly person is targeted, portability is regarded as important and a small size is desired. Further, when a pedestrian carries a portable terminal device, it is assumed that the pedestrian is often placed in a pocket or the like and close to the human body, and high antenna performance is required under conditions close to the human body. Therefore, it is suitable to use the clip as an antenna. Since the clip needs a function for holding the portable terminal device, the clip has a structure in which an object is sandwiched between a part of the clip and the housing. For this reason, a part of the clip and the circuit in the housing are close to each other, and the antenna performance may be deteriorated.
In order to cope with this, in the portable terminal device according to the present embodiment, the clip is connected to the upper part of the casing and the clip is brought into contact with the lower part of the casing. Moreover, a circuit is arrange | positioned between the part which contacts in the inside of a housing | casing, and the part which contacts. Further, in order to hold the casing to the clip, in consideration of weight balance, the clip is generally arranged at the center in the casing width direction, and power is supplied from the central portion of the clip. When power is supplied from the center portion of the clip, cancellation of the high-frequency current flowing through the clip occurs, and the antenna performance deteriorates. In order to cope with this, the portable terminal device according to the present embodiment feeds power from the vicinity of the corner of the clip.
図1(a)は、平面図を示し、図1(b)は、図1(a)のA−A’断面図を示す。
FIGS. 1A to 1B show the configuration of the
The
The
The
A
The
第1回路114とは異なった機能の一例は、CPU(Central Processing Unit)である。
The
A
As shown in FIG. 1B, one surface of the

FIG. 3 shows a configuration of the
As shown in the drawing, the road that goes in the horizontal direction of the drawing, that is, the left and right direction, intersects the vertical direction of the drawing, that is, the road that goes in the up and down direction, at the central portion. Here, the upper side of the drawing corresponds to the direction “north”, the left side corresponds to the direction “west”, the lower side corresponds to the direction “south”, and the right side corresponds to the direction “east”. The intersection of the two roads is an “intersection”. The
In the
The

In addition, the third base station apparatus 10c sets the vehicle transmission period from the first stage of the road and vehicle transmission period in the third subframe, the first subframe, the second subframe, and the fourth subframe to the Nth subframe.
As described above, the in-vehicle terminal device 14 is mounted on the
FIG. 5 shows functional blocks of the portable
RF部42には、LNA(Low Noise Amplifier)、ミキサ、AGC、A/D変換部も含まれる。
The
また、RF部42には、PA(Power Amplifier)、ミキサ、D/A変換部も含まれる。
As a transmission process, the
ここで、通信システム100は、OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)変調方式に対応するので、変復調部44は、受信処理としてFFT(Fast Fourier Transform)も実行し、送信処理としてIFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform)も実行する。
The
When the demodulation result from the
On the other hand, when the

This configuration can be realized in terms of hardware by a CPU, memory, or other LSI of any computer, and in terms of software, it can be realized by a program loaded in the memory, but here it is realized by their cooperation. Draw functional blocks. Accordingly, those skilled in the art will understand that these functional blocks can be realized in various forms only by hardware, or by a combination of hardware and software.
According to the present embodiment, since the first circuit is arranged avoiding the portion where the clip contacts the casing, it is possible to reduce the deterioration of the antenna performance due to the proximity of the clip and the first circuit. Since the deterioration of the antenna performance due to the proximity of the clip and the first circuit is reduced, the antenna performance can be improved with a simple configuration in the clip-type antenna. Further, since the first substrate is disposed avoiding the portion where the clip contacts the casing, it is possible to reduce the deterioration of the antenna performance due to the proximity of the clip and the first substrate. Further, by removing the ground pattern on the first substrate adjacent to the contact portion, a further interval can be provided. In addition, since the second circuit is disposed so as to avoid the portion where the clip is in contact with the casing, it is possible to reduce deterioration in antenna performance due to the proximity of the clip and the second circuit. Further, since the distance between the contact portion and the second substrate is more than the wavelength λ / 200, the antenna performance when worn by the human body can be improved. Further, in the state where the pocket or the like is sandwiched between the clip and the housing, the distance between the clip and the first circuit (the first substrate, the second circuit, and the second substrate) is further widened, so that the deterioration of the antenna performance can be further reduced.
Further, in a state where the housing is put in the pocket and the pocket is sandwiched between the clips, the clip faces away from the human body, so the high-frequency current flowing through the antenna element is separated from the human body, and the antenna performance can be improved. Further, until now, a space for arranging the antenna inside the casing has been required. However, by using the clip and the antenna in common, the space for arranging the antenna becomes unnecessary, and the size and cost can be reduced. In addition, since the power feeding unit is disposed near the corner of the clip, the electrical length of the clip can be increased. In addition, since the electrical length of the clip is increased, the antenna performance when the human body is worn can be improved.

Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described. The second embodiment relates to a portable terminal device that uses a clip as an antenna, similarly to the first embodiment. In the first embodiment, the shapes of the first circuit, the first substrate, and the second circuit are designed in order to reduce deterioration of the antenna performance. On the other hand, the second embodiment is designed such that the distance between the contact portion and the housing is set to a wavelength λ / 200 or more by providing a convex portion in a portion of the housing that can come into contact with the contact portion. Here, it demonstrates centering on the difference from before.
FIG. 6 shows a configuration of the portable
According to the present embodiment, since the contact portion and the housing are separated by a wavelength λ / 200 or more by providing the convex portion, the antenna performance when the human body is worn can be improved. Moreover, since the contact portion and the housing are separated by a wavelength λ / 200 or more by providing the convex portion, the design in the housing can be simplified.

Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described. The third embodiment relates to a portable terminal device that uses a clip as an antenna, as before. Until now, radio signals in one frequency band have been processed, and one clip is provided as an antenna. On the other hand, in the third embodiment, radio signals in two frequency bands are processed. The two frequency bands are, for example, a 700 MHz band for ITS and a 1.5 GHz band for GPS. In Example 3, two clips are provided on both sides on one side of the housing. Further, in one clip, a power feeding unit is arranged on the opposite side to the other clip. Here, it demonstrates centering on the difference from before.

The first circuit 154 and the second circuit 158 use one of the first clip 150 and the second clip 152 as an antenna for ITS and the other as an antenna for GPS. The first circuit 154 and the second circuit 158 may use the first clip 150 and the second clip 152 as an antenna for diversity.
As shown in FIG. 7A, the first clip 150 and the second clip 152 are arranged side by side on one surface of the
According to the present embodiment, since the distance between the power feeding portions is increased, it is possible to reduce electromagnetic coupling deterioration. Moreover, since the electromagnetic coupling degradation between antennas is reduced, antenna performance can be improved. In addition, since the power is supplied to the corner of the clip, the antenna performance can be improved.

Until now, the clip has been provided with a contact portion, and the contact portion touches the housing. On the other hand, in Example 4, the clip is not provided with a contact portion for the purpose of simplifying the configuration of the portable terminal device. Here, it demonstrates centering on the difference from before.
図8(a)は、平面図を示し、図8(b)は、図8(a)のA−A’断面図を示す。
FIGS. 8A to 8B show the configuration of the portable
According to the present embodiment, since the power feeding unit is arranged near the corner of the clip, the electrical length of the clip can be increased. In addition, since the electrical length of the clip is increased, the antenna performance when the human body is worn can be improved.

Next, a fifth embodiment of the present invention will be described. Example 5 is related with the portable terminal device which uses a clip as an antenna similarly to the past. The fifth embodiment will be described with a focus on a part of the configuration described so far. More specifically, the object is to improve the antenna performance when the human body is worn. In the portable terminal device according to the fifth embodiment, the substrate on which the matching circuit is mounted is disposed near the clip in the thickness direction in the housing. Here, it demonstrates centering on the difference from before.
