しかしながら、便意尿意など、突然もよおした時(特に下痢気味の人)除菌処理等を行う余裕は無く、雑菌、微生物が付着した便座に着座使用する事となり、不快な思いをする事となる。
特に潔癖症の人においては、精神的な苦痛においては大である。

尚紫外線殺菌灯は、紫外線放射時においてほとんど放熱しない。従って殺菌灯を覆う石英ガラスカバーが熱せられる事は無い。
よって、幼児等の弱い肌が石英ガラスカバーに直接触れても、火傷を負う事は無く安全である。
又、便座蓋内部においても菌は死滅しており、衣服等が便座蓋内部に触れても菌が付着する事は無い。
従って、安心して着座使用する事が出来る。
以上の理由により本発明は、皮膚病感染の不安、資源の保護、薬液、薬剤などによる水質汚染、心理的精神面等の問題を解決出来る。
又本発明は、紫外線殺菌灯、石英ガラスカバー、タイマー装置を備えただけのシンプルな物である為、安価にて提供出来る。

本装置を突出して取付ける事により、殺菌灯1より発せられた紫外線は、便座蓋3の内側と共に、便座4及び便器6内部に照射される。
放射された紫外線は、反射板10及び便器内部の曲面壁にて乱反射され、便座蓋、便座、便器本体内部の隅々まで照射される。図1
これにより便器内の至るところに発生した、雑菌、微生物は死滅する。
尚殺菌灯の形状を円形とし、より多くの紫外線を発生照射出来る物とした。
これにより殺菌効果は高まり、更に照射時間を短縮出来る物とした。
尚紫外線の殺菌力は強力であり、長時間の照射は必要としない。
従ってタイマー装置13を施し、秒単位で照射時間を調整出来る物とした。
蛍光灯安定機12及びタイマー装置13は、ウォシュレット本体5に組込む物とし、組込み部分には点検蓋7を設け、タイマー調整及び点灯管の取替が行なえる物とした。図2
尚本発明装置は、通常便座の開穴部に納まるように設計されており、組付けベース図4を別途製作する事により、既設便器にも取付可能な物とした。
便座蓋が施されている便器であれば、形状を選ばず本発明装置を、装着使用する事が出来る。
尚組付けベース16と、石英ガラスカバー2の接点には、清掃時及び男子排尿時において、石英ガラスカバー2内への清掃水、排尿水の浸水を防ぐ為ゴムパッキン18を施し、更に殺菌灯、設置部廻りには、水返しを施した。図3 図4
これによりゴムパッキンの劣化により浸水しても、水及び排尿水が殺菌灯に触れる事はない。
又組付けベース16後部には、放熱穴14と配線路8が施されている。図3 図4
又石英ガラスカバー2の背高は低く、着座使用時において既設便座蓋に設置しても邪魔にならない物とした。
又石英ガラスカバー2は、ガラスの厚みと共に、凸レンズ形状にする事により強固な物となり、安心して着座使用出来る物とした。
尚紫外線の照射は、便座蓋3の開閉によって、停止、作動する物とした。
便座蓋が閉じられた時電源は入り、タイマー13によって定められた時間紫外線は、便器内部全体に照射される。
又紫外線の照射中であっても、便座蓋が上方向に開動されると同時に電源は切れ、紫外線の照射は停止する物とした。
これにより、紫外線が目に触れる事は無く安全な物とした。
尚便座蓋は、閉め忘れなどを防ぐ為、自動開閉装置機能付が望ましい。
