Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an optical / electrical composite cable having an optical fiber and a plurality of electric wires.
As a cable used for signal transmission between electronic devices such as computers, an optical / electrical composite cable in which an optical fiber and a plurality of electric wires are collectively covered with a sheath is known.
In
In a multi-core cable such as a photoelectric composite cable, a tear line for tearing an outer cylindrical body (sheath or the like) may be provided in order to facilitate work when performing terminal processing (for example, Patent Document 2). reference).
By the way, a tear line is arrange | positioned in the clearance gap between the adjacent electric wire and the internal peripheral surface of an outer cylinder. If there is a space around the tear line when the tear line is disposed in the gap, the tear line moves within the space. When the tear line moves, there is a problem that the workability of the terminal processing deteriorates and is not preferable from the viewpoint of reliability.
In order to solve this problem, it is conceivable to restrict the movement of the tear line by increasing the outer diameter of the tear line and filling the gap. However, when the diameter of the tear line is increased, the strength (tensile strength) of the tear line is improved, but there is a problem that the cable mass is increased and the cost is increased. When the outer cylinder is easy to tear and the tear line does not require high strength, it is not preferable to use a tear line having an outer diameter larger than necessary.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide an optical / electrical composite cable capable of regulating the movement of a tear line.
The present invention has been made to achieve the above object, and covers an optical fiber, an inner cylindrical body made of a resin that accommodates the optical fiber, and an outer periphery of the inner cylindrical body around the inner cylindrical body. A plurality of electric wires arranged in such a manner, a cylindrical outer cylinder that collectively covers the plurality of electric wires, and a tear for tearing the outer cylinder arranged on the inner periphery of the outer cylinder And at least two of the electric wires are formed with a smaller outer diameter than the other electric wires, and the tear line is a photoelectric composite cable disposed between the electric wires with a smaller outer diameter. .
The plurality of electric wires includes a power supply line for supplying power and a signal transmission signal line having an outer diameter smaller than that of the power supply line, and the tear line is disposed between the adjacent signal lines. May be.
The plurality of electric wires are spirally wound along the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylindrical body, interposed between the inner cylindrical body and the outer cylindrical body, and receive external force from the outer peripheral side of the outer cylindrical body. The load which the said inner cylinder receives by this may be relieve | moderated by the contact of the said adjacent electric wires, and the slip of the said electric wire with respect to the said inner cylinder.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the photoelectric composite cable which can control the movement of a tear line can be provided.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of the photoelectric composite cable according to the present embodiment, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing the structure thereof.
As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the
Here, although the case where four
A
The tube 3 is made of fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP), perfluoroalkoxy (PFA), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), polyetheretherketone (PEEK), or ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). The elastic modulus of the tube 3 is desirably 0.3 GPa or more and 4.0 GPa or less. This is because if the elastic modulus of the tube 3 is less than 0.3 GPa, the
The plurality of
The
The
Now, in the optical /
Between the
Further, in the present embodiment, the plurality of
In other words, in the
The plurality of
In the present embodiment, the
Further, in the present embodiment, the
By the way, when long-distance transmission is used or when a large current is used, the cross-sectional area of the central conductor 8a of the
Therefore, in the present embodiment, a plurality of
Here, a case is shown in which two
If the number of the
Further, when the outer diameter of the thinnest electric wire 4 (here, the signal line 7) is D 1 and the outer diameter of the thickest electric wire 4 (here, the power line 8) is D 2 , the following formula (1)
0.8 × D 2 ≦ D 1 <D 2 (1)
It is desirable to satisfy. By setting the outer diameter of the
As shown in FIG. 3, in the photoelectric
Thus, in the photoelectric
In addition, in order to acquire this effect, it is desirable that the number of the
(Dout−Din)/2×0.8≦DA<(Dout−Din)/2
Further, when the average value of the outer diameter of the
(D out −D in ) /2×0.8≦D A <(D out −D in ) / 2 (2)
It is desirable to satisfy. That is, it may be 80% or more of the distance between the tube 3 and the
Further, in the photoelectric
Since the plurality of
That is, when the plurality of
On the other hand, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, since the plurality of
Further, in the photoelectric
As the insulators 7b and 8b, it is desirable to use a material that is slippery with respect to the tube 3, such as fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP), perfluoroalkoxy (PFA), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), or polyethylene (PE). It is good to use what consists of. By using these materials, the
The thickness t of the tube 3 is expressed by the following formula (3)
t ≧ D in × 0.2 (3)
It is desirable to satisfy. In other words, the thickness t of the tube 3 may If it is 5 minutes one or more of the outer diameter D in. By forming the tube 3 in this way, the strength of the tube 3 is ensured, deformation due to external force is suppressed, and the side pressure acting on the
Further, when the outer diameter of the
d × 4 <D (4)
It is desirable to satisfy. This is because even when the four
The proportion of the space in which the
By setting the space ratio in this way, even when the tube 3 is deformed by an external force, the deformation of the
The optical
In addition, as shown in FIG. 6, a load is applied to the photoelectric
As a result of the cable side pressure test, the difference in the output light amount with respect to the input light amount was 0.1 dB or less (within the error range of the measuring device), and it was confirmed that there was almost no change in the light amount between the input and output. That is, in the optical / electrical
The operation of the present embodiment will be described.
In the optical / electrical
Since the gap between the
Further, in the photoelectric
By comprising in this way, it becomes possible to isolate | separate and arrange | position the
Further, in the photoelectric
