Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a coated rubber composition for a conveyor belt, a laminate, and a conveyor belt.
A normal conveyor belt has a structure in which a reinforcing layer that secures tension is sandwiched between an upper surface cover rubber layer on which a transported article is placed and a lower surface cover rubber layer that contacts a drive pulley, a roller, and the like. The reinforcing layer is obtained by coating a canvas in which a reinforcing cord is woven into a canvas shape with a coat rubber. As the reinforcing cord, organic fibers such as nylon, polyester, vinylon, and aramid are used. Among these, polyester cords are suitably used as reinforcing cords because they have a higher modulus and excellent dimensional stability than nylon cords. Further, since the reinforcing layer has a configuration in which coat rubber is bonded to both sides of the canvas, a coat rubber forming material is used between the cover rubber and the canvas constituting the conveyor belt or between the canvases (for example, patents). Reference 1).
Patent Document 1 describes a coated rubber composition used for adhesion between a cover rubber and a canvas or between canvases. The coated rubber composition described in Patent Document 1 contains a predetermined amount of a blend rubber having a predetermined amount of diene rubber and recycled rubber, carbon black, and calcium carbonate. When this conveyor rubber coated rubber composition is used for forming a reinforcing layer as a coating rubber forming material between the conveyor belt cover rubber and the canvas or between the canvases, the adhesive strength of the coated rubber composition is appropriately reduced. Therefore, endless work with peeling is facilitated.
When a polyester canvas is used as the reinforcing layer, there is a possibility that the rubber attachment between the coated rubber after high temperature vulcanization or after high temperature history and the polyester canvas may be reduced.
However, since the coated rubber composition for conveyor belts described in Patent Document 1 has a moderately reduced adhesive force between the polyester canvas and the coated rubber composition, the coated rubber and the polyester canvas after high temperature vulcanization and high temperature history are used. It is not taken into consideration that the rubber sticking between the two decreases, and there is room for further improvement.
Thus, a coated rubber composition for conveyor belts that is excellent in adhesion to polyester canvas and has high adhesion even after high temperature vulcanization or high temperature history is desired.

Since the composition of the present embodiment has the excellent characteristics as described above, it is preferably used as a coated rubber for forming a reinforcing layer in the manufacture of a conveyor belt. In addition to this, a hose, a crawler belt, a marine hose It can be suitably used for the production of tires and the like.
<積層体>
<Laminated body>
The case where the composition of this embodiment is used for a laminated body is demonstrated. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view in the longitudinal direction of a laminate according to the present embodiment (hereinafter referred to as “laminate of the present embodiment”). As shown in FIG. 1, the laminate 10 includes a composition (hereinafter referred to as “coat rubber composition”) 11 of the present embodiment and a

The polyester fiber of the
As a method for adhering the

<Conveyor belt>
Next, the case where the laminated body of this embodiment is used for a conveyor belt is demonstrated. FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of a conveyor belt according to the present embodiment (hereinafter referred to as “conveyor belt of the present embodiment”). As shown in FIG. 2, the
As described above, the laminate 10 is formed by arranging the

<Preparation of coat rubber composition>
Each component shown in Table 1 is blended in the blending amount (parts by mass) shown in the same table, and these are uniformly kneaded using a Banbury mixer. A product was prepared. Table 1 shows the amount of each component in each Example and Comparative Example.
<Preparation of specimen>
Each coated rubber composition obtained above was formed into a sheet shape having a thickness of 1 mm and a thickness of 0.7 mm with a roll. In addition, a canvas made of polyester fiber soaked in carboxyl-modified vinylpyridine latex was prepared. Next, after laminating in the order of 1 mm thick sheet-like coated rubber composition / polyester canvas / 0.7 mm thick sheet-like coated rubber composition / polyester canvas / 1 mm thick sheet-like coated rubber composition, a length of 150 mm, Using a mold having a width of 150 mm, vulcanization was performed at 160 ° C. for 45 minutes to obtain a laminate of the rubber coating composition and polyester canvas (composite of coat rubber / polyester canvas). Next, a sample having a width of 25 mm was cut out in the length direction from each of the obtained laminates to prepare each test body.
About each obtained test body of each Example and a comparative example, the canvas adhesiveness and the canvas adhesiveness after heat aging were evaluated by the method shown below. The results are shown in Table 1 below.
<Canvas adhesion>
About each test body obtained above, peeling force was measured based on JISK6256-1: 2006 "peeling strength with cloth", and canvas adhesiveness was evaluated. A peel strength of 7 N / mm or more was judged good. Further, after the peel test, the rubber adhering to the surface of the polyester canvas was visually observed to evaluate the canvas adhesion with the rubber attached. With rubber was calculated as a percentage (%) of the area of rubber remaining on the surface of the polyester canvas. The case where the fracture form due to peeling occurred on the entire surface of the rubber layer was defined as 100% with rubber. It was judged that the rubber attachment was 95% or more. In addition, it means that adhesiveness is so good that rubber | gum attachment (%) is high. The results are shown in Table 1 below.
<Adhesion to canvas after heat aging>
Each test specimen similar to that prepared with the above-mentioned canvas adhesiveness was allowed to stand for 168 hours in an environment of 150 ° C., and then the peel strength of each test specimen was measured by the same method as that for canvas adhesiveness. The canvas adhesion was evaluated. A peel strength of 3 N / mm or more was judged good. In addition, the canvas adhesion was evaluated after heat aging with rubber in the same manner as the canvas adhesion. It was judged that the rubber attachment was 95% or more. In addition, it means that adhesiveness is so good that rubber | gum attachment (%) is high. The results are shown in Table 1 below.

From the results shown in Table 1, in Examples 1 to 5, it was confirmed that all were excellent in canvas adhesion and canvas adhesion after heat aging.
On the other hand, it was confirmed that Comparative Example 1 does not contain resorcinol formaldehyde resin and hexamethoxymethylated melamine, so that the canvas adhesion is good, but the canvas adhesion after heat aging is inferior. Moreover, in Comparative Examples 2-5, since resorcinol formaldehyde resin, hexamethoxymethylated melamine, and di-2-benzothiazolyl disulfide were not included, it was confirmed that it was inferior to canvas adhesiveness and canvas adhesiveness after heat aging. Moreover, since Comparative Examples 6-9 did not contain di-2-benzothiazolyl disulfide, it was confirmed that either canvas adhesion or canvas adhesion after heat aging was inferior. Further, it was confirmed that Comparative Example 10 was inferior in canvas adhesion and canvas adhesion after heat aging because the contents of resorcinol formaldehyde resin and hexamethoxymethylated melamine were out of range. Moreover, since the comparative example 11 had too much sulfur content, it was confirmed that it is inferior to canvas adhesiveness and the canvas adhesiveness after heat aging.
Accordingly, the coated rubber composition containing a predetermined amount of each of a diene rubber component, di-2-benzothiazolyl disulfide, resorcin formaldehyde resin, and hexamethoxymethylated melamine is an adhesive property between the polyester canvas and the coated rubber composition. Can be improved and the adhesiveness after heat aging is excellent (see Examples 1 to 5).
Therefore, the coated rubber composition of the present invention can improve the adhesion to the polyester canvas compared with the conventionally used coated rubber composition, and is excellent in the adhesion after high temperature vulcanization and high temperature history. It has been found that it can be suitably used as a belt-coated rubber composition.
