Description

TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to an exterior material for a wire harness, and in particular, is used as an exterior material for a wire harness having a surplus length that is routed to a slide seat mounted on a vehicle, and is suitably used when inserted into a surplus length accommodation case. It is.

Conventionally, as a cable exterior protective material, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2008-25775 has provided a folding assembly type cable protective material shown in FIG. The cable protector is formed by bending a synthetic resin tape along a crease line 101 provided in the length direction to form a cylindrical section having a rectangular cross section, and can be bent by a split slit 102 provided parallel to the width direction. The exterior protective material 110 can control the direction. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2010-7807 also provides a flexible exterior part having a similar assembling type and a rectangular tube shape. These folding assembly-type exterior materials having a rectangular tube shape are advantageous in that they are small, light, and inexpensive.

On the other hand, wire harnesses that have extra length, such as wire harnesses that are routed to slide seats mounted on vehicles and wire harnesses that are routed to slide doors, are moved according to the movement of the slide seats and slide doors. Protected. In many cases, a corrugated tube is used as the exterior material. However, since the corrugated tube cannot regulate the bending direction, the folding assembly type exterior material that can regulate the bending direction is preferably used.

For example, in the wire harness wiring structure for a slide sheet described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2011-121458 related to the prior application of the present applicant, as shown in FIG. It is inserted into 201 by turning.
As shown in FIG. 12, when the wire harness covered with the folding assembly-type square tube-shaped exterior protector 110 is accommodated in the surplus length accommodation case 201, one side 110 a on the outer peripheral side of the exterior material is an extra length accommodation case. Surface contact is made with the inner surface of the peripheral wall 201a of 201, and sliding contact is made corresponding to the forward and backward sliding movement of the slide sheet.

特開2008−25775号公報JP 2008-25775 A 特開2010−7807号公報JP 2010-7807 A 特開2011−121459号公報JP 2011-121459 A

As shown in FIG. 12, the outer surface of the exterior protective material 110 that comes into surface contact when the wire harness that is sheathed on the peripheral wall 201a of the extra length housing case 201 with the rectangular tubular exterior material moves in accordance with the back-and-forth slide movement of the slide sheet. An abnormal noise is generated between 110a and the inner peripheral surface 201a of the extra length housing case 201, and there is room for improvement in terms of durability due to contact wear.

This invention is made | formed in view of the said problem, and makes it a subject to reduce the contact wear of the exterior material of a wire harness, and the case which slidably inserts the wire harness sheathed with this exterior material.

In order to solve the above problems, as a first invention,
Bend multiple bending lines extending in the length direction on a resin-made belt-shaped substrate and assemble it into a cylindrical shape, and leave a gap in the length direction to leave some connections in the width direction. And the connecting portion side is not bent and the cut portion is bendable, and
In an assembled state, at least one side of the outer surface is provided with a rib serving as a sliding contact projection, or a triangular, pentagonal, or arcuate side with the apex serving as a sliding contact projection protruding outward. An exterior material for a wire harness is provided.

The ribs that serve as the protrusions for sliding contact are projected continuously in the length direction on the outer surface of one side of the exterior material in the shape of a square tube,
The sliding contact projections including the ribs and the apexes extend in the length direction through the notches.

Since the exterior material comprising the caterpillar type protector of the present invention is provided with the sliding contact projection on the outer surface, the wire harness sheathed with the exterior material is slidably accommodated in an extra-length accommodating case, When the exterior material is slidably contacted with the inner peripheral surface of the surplus length storage case, the sliding contact projections protruding from the outer surface of the exterior material are in sliding contact with the inner peripheral surface of the surplus length storage case in a line contact state. Compared with surface contact, contact friction is reduced, noise generated at the time of contact can be reduced, and the wire harness sheathed with the exterior material can be moved smoothly.

In the present invention, the wire harness sheathed with the exterior material of the first invention is turned into a case for accommodating extra length and slidably inserted, and the wire harness is slid along the inner peripheral surface of the peripheral wall of the case. The outer surface of the exterior material projecting the projection for sliding contact is disposed, the projection for sliding contact of the exterior material is brought into contact with the inner surface of the peripheral wall of the case, and the side on which the connecting portion is provided is the inner circumferential side. The wiring structure of the wire harness arrange | positioned as is provided.

When the wire harness sheathed with the exterior material of the present invention is routed on a slide seat mounted on a vehicle, the wire harness routed from the floor side is turned into a case for accommodating excess length and then passed through the slide. Inserted into one linear harness rail installed on the side of the seat rail for the seat, movably fitted in the harness rail, and routed to the slide seat through the slider connected to the slide seat It is preferable.

As described above, since the exterior material of the wire harness of the present invention is provided with the protrusion for sliding contact on the outer surface, the wire harness sheathed with the exterior material is slidably accommodated in the extra length accommodation case. When the exterior material is slidably contacted with the inner peripheral surface of the surplus length storage case, the sliding contact projections protruding from the outer surface of the exterior material slide in a line contact state with the inner peripheral surface of the surplus length storage case. The contact friction is reduced as compared with the contact and surface contact, the noise generated at the time of contact can be reduced, and the wire harness sheathed with the exterior material can be moved smoothly.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 to FIG. 5 show a caterpillar type protector as an exterior material of the wire harness of the first embodiment.

The protector 10 has a rectangular cylindrical shape, and is assembled by bending a substrate 40 made of a continuous belt-like long material shown in FIG. The substrate 40 is formed by extruding resin, and four folding lines 41, 42, 43, 44 extending in the length direction X are provided at intervals in the intermediate portion in the width direction Y. 1 is divided into five sides S1 to S5 in the width direction, the folding lines 41 to 44 are bent at right angles, and both sides S1 and S5 in the width direction are overlapped, as shown in FIGS. It is designed to be assembled into a square cylinder.

As shown in FIG. 2 (A), a rib 50 bulged in an arc shape as shown in FIG. 2 (A) is provided continuously in the length direction between the bent lines 42 and 43 of the substrate 40. Reference numeral 50 denotes a sliding contact projection.

Locking protrusions 45 are provided on the side edges of one side S <b> 1 on both sides with a gap in the length direction X. The locking protrusion 45 is provided with a notch 45a on both sides of the base of the arcuate protrusion, and the locking side 45b protrudes on both sides. An elongated locking hole 46 for inserting and locking the locking protrusion 45 is provided on the other side S <b> 5 of the substrate 40. Cuts 46a are provided at both ends in the length direction of the locking holes 46, and small-diameter holes 46c are provided at the tips thereof. A locking side 45b is applied to the cut 46a, and a crack is prevented from occurring at the tip of the cut 46a by the small diameter hole 46c. The substrate 40 is bent along the folding lines 41 to 44, and the locking protrusions 45 are inserted and locked in the locking holes 46 with the sides S1 and S5 overlapped, thereby forming a continuous side S6 and a rectangular tube shape. It can be held.

A cut line 48 in the width direction Y connecting the four bent lines 41 to 44 is provided in the substrate 40 at intervals in the length direction X, and the sides S2, S3, S4 and the rib 50 are separated. Yes. Small diameter holes 48a are continuously provided at both ends of the cutting line 48, that is, at positions where the bending lines 41 and 44 are in contact with each other to prevent cracks from occurring at the tip. Furthermore, an arc-shaped cut having a straight line is provided at a portion where the rib 50 at the center position of the side S3 is formed at the center of the cut line 48, and one side adjacent in the length direction is projected in an arc shape. The other is recessed in an arc shape to provide an uneven fitting portion.

As shown in FIG. 2 (B), the folding lines 41 to 44 provided on the substrate 40 are cut into about 1/3 of the plate thickness to form arc-shaped lines. The cut line 48, the locking hole 46, and the locking protrusion 45 are all formed by punching a flat plate. Therefore, after forming the substrate 40, it is formed by punching and cutting.

The protector 10 bends the folding lines 41 to 44 in advance, while the locking protrusions 45 are not inserted into the locking holes 46, and the both sides S1 of the protector 10 are bent in a state where the wire harness 5 is folded. Insert from the opening between S5. After inserting the wire group, the sides S1 and S5 are overlapped, the locking protrusion 45 is inserted and locked into the locking hole 46, a continuous side S6 is provided, and the inside of the square tube composed of the sides S2, 3, 4, 6 It is assumed that it is exteriorized with the electric wire group inserted in.

The protector 10 has a configuration in which the three sides S2, S3, and S4 of the square tube are separated in the length direction by the cutting line 48, and the sides S1 and S5 that are overlapped and locked are connected to be bent in the length direction, In addition, the separated side S3 is in a state in which the adjacent sides S3 are concavo-convexly fitted with arcuate cuts. That is, a caterpillar-shaped protector that is not displaced in the width direction because the short rectangular tubes are sequentially connected in the length direction so as to be freely bent and the adjacent square tubes are engaged with each other.

As shown in FIG. 1 (C), the wire group of the wire harness 5 is inserted and protected by a protector 10 having a rectangular tube shape by locking the sides S1 and S5. In the protector 10, as shown in FIG. 1 (D), the side S6 on the inner circumferential side is continuous in the length direction, the other sides S2, S3, and S4 are separated, and the outer circumferential side is separated by a cutting line 48. The interval between each part is widened so that it can be bent.

In the present embodiment, the protector 10 is externally mounted on a wire harness (seat harness) that is routed on the slide sheet, and is inserted into the extra length housing case 8 as shown in FIG. The extra length accommodation case 8 covers a shallow body 8-1 with a lid 8-2.

The extra length housing case 8 includes a circular arc portion 8a on one end side in the length direction of the main body 8-1, a straight portion 8b on both sides in the width direction, and openings 8c and 8d for access on both sides in the width direction on the other end. It has. The wire harness 5 covered with the protector 10 inserted into the main body 8-1 between the openings 8c and 8d is inserted by rotating on the arc portion 8a side, and the slide sheet 1 is moved back and forth as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 5, the surplus length portion of the wire harness 5 is accommodated in the surplus length accommodation case 8, and the surplus length portion of the wire harness 5 is pulled out as shown in FIG.

In the extra length accommodation case 8, the protector 10 is inserted with the side S3 projecting the rib 50 positioned on the outer periphery and the continuous side S6 positioned on the inner peripheral side. That is, since it is necessary to bend and open the outer peripheral side, the side 3 is positioned, and the non-bent side S6 is positioned on the inner peripheral side.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the extra length accommodation case 8 is continuously arranged at the front end of the harness rail 7 arranged adjacent to the side of the seat rail 6 laid on the lower portion of the slide seat 1. A wire harness 5 is wired from the floor panel to the slide sheet 1 to supply power to an electrical component (not shown) mounted on the slide sheet 1. One linear harness rail 7 is installed on the side surface of one of the seat rails 6, and an extra-length housing case 8 is installed continuously with the front end of the harness rail 7. The wire harness 5 branched from the floor harness routed to the floor panel is continuously wired to the extra length accommodation case 8 and the harness rail 7 and passed through the slider 9 slidably fitted to the harness rail 7. Are connected to the leg portion of the slide sheet 1, and the wire harness 5 is wired in the slide sheet 1.
As described above, the harness rail 7 extends linearly, and the U-shaped long housing case 8 is connected to the front end of the harness rail 7 so as to have a substantially J shape as a whole.

As shown in FIG. 5, the extra length of the wire harness 5 covered with the protector 10 is absorbed in conjunction with the back and forth movement of the slide sheet 1.
When the outer peripheral side S3 of the protector 10 comes into contact with the inner peripheral surfaces of the linear portions 8b on both sides of the main body of the extra length housing case and the arc portion 8a at the front end, as shown in FIG. The protruding rib 50 comes into contact. Therefore, the wire harness 5 that moves in accordance with the back-and-forth movement of the slide sheet 1 slides while the ribs 50 of the protector 10 are in line contact with the inner peripheral surface of the case, and in the case of sliding in surface contact In comparison, the occurrence of abnormal noise can be reduced.

Specifically, FIG. 5A shows a case where the slide sheet 1 is at the front position, and FIG. 5B shows a case where the slide sheet 1 is at the rear position. When the slide sheet 1 is slid from the front to the rear, the wire harness 5 covered with the protector 10 accommodated in the extra length accommodation case 8 is pulled out from the opening 8c and inserted into the harness rail 7. The bent portion of the front end of the wire harness 5 in the extra length accommodation case 8 moves to the rear of the extra length accommodation case 8.
On the other hand, when the slide sheet 1 slides from the rear to the front, the U-shaped bent portion in the extra length housing case 8 moves forward, and the wire harness 5 inserted through the harness insertion portion of the harness rail 7 opens the opening 8c. Then, it is drawn into the extra length accommodation case 8 and accommodated as an extra length portion.

FIG. 6 shows a modification of the protector of the first embodiment.
In the protector 10-1 of the modified example, instead of providing the rib 50 at the center of the side S3, the side S3 itself bulges in an arc shape, and the vertex of the arc is in line contact with the inner surface of the extra length housing case 8.

The caterpillar type protector 10-2 of 2nd Embodiment is shown to FIG. 7 (A)-(D).
The protector 10-2 according to the second embodiment has a triangular tube shape, and as shown in FIG. 8B, the folding lines 41 to 43 are provided on the belt-like substrate 40 and divided into sides S1 to S4. When the locking piece 45 is projected and the locking groove 46 is provided on the side S4 and bent and locked, the sides S5, S2, and S3 are formed from the sides S1 and S4. The positions 41 to 43 are the apex angles of the triangle. The folding line 42 that is the apex angle is a sliding protrusion that makes line contact with the inner surface of the peripheral wall of the case.

Thus, since the protector 10-2 of the second embodiment has a triangular cross section, it is not necessary to provide a rib as in the first embodiment, and as shown in FIG. 7C or FIG. Generation of abnormal noise can be prevented by simply bringing one of the bent lines) into line contact with the case peripheral wall and one of the other vertices into line contact with the case bottom wall 8f.

FIG. 8 shows a modification of the second embodiment.
In the modification shown in FIG. 8, the caterpillar type protector 10-2 </ b> A has a pentagonal cylindrical shape instead of a triangular cylindrical shape, and its apex is slidably contacted with the extra length accommodation case 8.

9A and 9B show a third embodiment.
In the third embodiment, the exterior protector 10-3 has a rectangular tube shape, and is different from the protector of the first embodiment only in that the rib 50 is not provided.
The peripheral wall 85a of the extra-length housing case 85 that is externally inserted through the wire harness by the square cylindrical protector 10-3 has an arc shape.
Thus, by making the peripheral wall on the case side into an arc shape, the square tubular protector 10-3 can be brought into line contact with the peripheral shape 85a of the case, and noise can be reduced.

The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and the rib or apex is arranged on the contact surface with the vehicle body panel even when the wire harness sheathed with the caterpillar type protector of the present invention is routed along the vehicle body panel. Also good. Furthermore, the wire harness connected to the slide door may be protected by the protector, and various changes can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
