Description

The present invention relates to a percutaneous absorption type tape for improving urine odor to help improve the care environment. More specifically, the present invention relates to a transdermally absorbable tape preparation that transdermally absorbs roasted rice bran extract as a urine odor improving substance to improve the urine odor itself.

One of the issues that needs to be improved in nursing care is the problem of “odor”. The odor at the care site includes the urine odor, fecal odor, halitosis, age-related odor and body odor of the cared person, as well as disease-specific odors such as infectious pressure ulcer wound odor and cancer due to the progression of symptoms. Is serious. According to Non-Patent Document 1, when the patient is bedridden, the percentage of odors that the staff involved in home medical care are concerned is urine odor 29%, body odor 13%, fecal odor 12%, halitosis 10%, and urine There is a strong demand for odor improvement.

Urinary odor care is based on the rapid removal of urine that causes odor, but it is difficult to continue detailed and prompt treatment at all nursing care sites. The main cause of urine odor is ammonia odor which is generated when urine is left for a certain period of time while attached to clothes or a room. Since urine mixed with urine and feces emits a stronger ammonia odor than urine alone, more serious ammonia odor is generated from diapers commonly used in nursing care sites. Therefore, in order to reduce the mental burden caused by urine odor, it is desirable to focus on ammonia odor improvement.

Methods for improving the urine ammonia odor have been studied. Odorless urine in urine is decomposed into the malodorous ammonia through the urease activity of microorganisms, so Patent Document 1 generates malodorous typified by flooring containing silver, copper and zinc powder, which are urease inhibitors. As a preventive member, Patent Document 2 provides a deodorizing spray and a cleaning agent that inhibit the growth of microorganisms in which a quinolone-based compound or a salt thereof has urease-producing ability. However, it is difficult to cover all living spaces where contact with urine is expected with deodorant processing materials, and it is a burden on caregivers to deodorize clothes and living spaces that have urine on them. large.

Therefore, for the purpose of working on the human living environment and making it difficult for the discharged urine itself to generate an ammonia odor, Patent Document 3 discloses an oral consumption containing an aqueous extract of cinnamon, which exhibits inhibition of intestinal urease activity, as an active ingredient. Provides odorants. However, the oral preparation is a simple ingestion for healthy people, but is a dosage form that is difficult for ingestion by persons with dysphagia. Non-Patent Document 2 reports that the prevalence of dysphagia among medical care type beds, nursing care type beds, geriatric health facilities, and special nursing homes for the elderly exceeds 40%. In order to tackle the improvement of urine odor at a nursing care site, a method that can be used by people with dysphagia is necessary, and it is particularly desirable to expand non-invasive external preparations. Since urine odor is a chronic problem, it is ideal to develop a tape preparation with excellent sustained effect among external preparations.

From the above, when aiming at urine odor improvement, the urine itself can have the effect of suppressing the generation of ammonia odor, and the transdermal absorption-type urine odor improvement tape that can be easily used by dysphagia among the care recipients Development of an agent was desired.

Is preferable, and more preferably 1 to 10 w / w%. When the blending amount of the roasted rice bran extract is less than 0.1 w / w%, the effect of improving urine odor cannot be obtained sufficiently, which is not preferable. On the other hand, if the amount of the roasted rice bran extract is more than 20 w / w%, the fragrance of the roasted rice bran extract itself diffuses from the tape agent to the surroundings and is easily recognized by others.

The transdermal absorption type urine odor improving tape of the present invention is a tape composed of three layers of a base, a support and a release material. It can be used in combination of more than one species. The blending amount of the rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive is not particularly limited, but is preferably in the range of 25 to 35 w / w% of the total blending amount of the tape base. When the blending amount of the rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive is less than 25 w / w%, sufficient adhesiveness cannot be obtained, and problems such as peeling off and peeling of the tape agent occur, which is not preferable. Moreover, when there are more compounding quantities of a rubber-type adhesive than 35 w / w%, since the adhesiveness to skin increases excessively and a physical irritation | stimulation at the time of a rash and peeling may generate | occur | produce, it is unpreferable.

As the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, for example, the amount of alkyl (meth) acrylate having 4 to 14 carbon atoms in the alkyl group is in the range of 45 to 95 w / w% of the total amount of acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, and the amount of vinyl acetate An acrylic copolymer having a range of 5 to 55 w / w%. The blending amount of the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive is not particularly limited, but is preferably in the range of 70 to 95 w / w% of the total blending amount of the tape agent, and more preferably 75 to 90 w / w%. If the blending amount of the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive is less than 70 w / w%, sufficient adhesive strength cannot be obtained, which is not preferable. On the other hand, when the blending amount is more than 95 w / w%, the adhesiveness to the skin is excessively increased, and physical irritation at the time of rash or peeling may occur, which is not preferable.
