Description

The present invention relates to an electronic device having a battery housing part and a lid structure of the battery housing part.

Conventionally, electronic devices that operate using a dry battery or a secondary battery as a power source are known. Some electronic devices of this type are provided with a mechanism for preventing the battery from popping out, dropping off, or the like (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In the printing apparatus described in Patent Document 1, the battery housing part inside the main body is arranged inside the paper package, thereby making it difficult for the battery to fall off.

By the way, in both cases of using a primary battery such as a dry battery and a secondary battery, it is not uncommon for a battery to be attached to and detached from an electronic device. For example, when using a primary battery, the battery is replaced every time the battery runs out. Moreover, when using a secondary battery, a battery may be taken out and charged from an electronic device, and a battery may be taken out at the time of other maintenance. Therefore, in the configuration in which the battery is accommodated in the electronic device, not only the battery can be prevented from popping out and falling off, but also the battery can be easily opened and closed and taken out. For this reason, there has been a demand for a configuration that prevents the battery from falling off and that can be easily taken out.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and in an electronic device using a battery, the electronic device that can prevent the battery from dropping out and can be easily taken out, and a lid of the battery housing portion The purpose is to provide a structure.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an electronic device having a battery housing portion, a rotatable lid that opens and closes the battery housing portion, a claw portion that slides and projects from the lid, A receiving portion that is provided on the battery housing portion side and engages with the claw portion that protrudes from the lid, and the claw portion receives the lid at a position where the lid is pushed into the battery housing portion side from a closed position. It is possible to leave the part.
According to the present invention, when the lid of the battery housing part is pushed in, the claw part can be detached from the engaging part. For this reason, when the lid is opened, an operation of pushing the lid is necessary. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a problem that the lid is unintentionally opened with the lid closed, and to prevent the battery from dropping from the battery housing portion. Further, since the operation of opening the lid is simple, the user can easily open the lid when replacing the battery or the like.

The said structure WHEREIN: It is good also as a structure by which the movement of the drawing-in direction of the said nail | claw part is controlled in the closed position of the said lid | cover.
According to this configuration, since the movement of the claw portion is restricted at the closed position, the lid can be held closed even when an external force is applied in a direction in which the claw portion slides in a situation not intended by the user. For this reason, for example, when a strong external force is applied to the electronic device main body, the lid can be prevented from being opened, so that an unintended battery can be prevented from falling off.

Further, in the above-described configuration, an urging unit that urges the lid in the opening direction in a state where the lid is closed is provided, and is in contact with the lid at a position where the lid is pushed in from the closed position on the battery housing side. It is good also as a structure which provided the control part.
According to this configuration, since the lid is urged by the urging means, the lid of the battery housing portion is held without shaking in the closed position, and when the lid is pushed in, the claw portion is brought into contact with the contact portion. The lid can be stopped at a position suitable for the sliding operation. Thereby, rattling of the lid can be prevented and the battery can be easily taken out.

Moreover, the said structure WHEREIN: The said biasing means may be provided in the said lid | cover, and may press the battery accommodated in the said battery accommodating part in the closed position of the said lid | cover.
According to this configuration, the battery can be stabilized in the battery housing portion by preventing the rattling of the lid and pressing the battery.

Moreover, the said structure WHEREIN: The said lid | cover is good also as a structure which can be elastically deformed so that the front-end | tip part which has the said nail | claw part may displace to the said battery accommodating part side.
According to this configuration, the lid is elastically deformed, and the tip portion having the claw portion is displaced, so that the claw portion can be opened by sliding. Thereby, the structure which controls the slide of the nail | claw part in a closed position is realizable, without moving the main body of a lid | cover from a closed position. For this reason, even if the movable range of the lid is not expanded, unintentional opening of the lid can be prevented.

In order to achieve the above object, the battery housing portion lid structure of the present invention is provided with a rotatable lid on the battery housing portion, a claw portion that slides and protrudes from the lid, and the battery housing portion. A receiving portion that engages with the claw portion protruding from the lid is provided on the side, and the claw portion can be detached from the receiving portion at a position where the lid is pushed into the battery accommodating portion side from the closed position. It is characterized by.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the malfunction which the lid | cover of the battery accommodating part which accommodates a battery in an electronic device etc. opens unintentionally can be prevented, and the fall of the battery from a battery accommodating part can be prevented. Further, since the operation of opening the lid is simple, the user can easily open the lid when replacing the battery or the like.

According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent a problem that the lid of the battery housing portion opens unintentionally, prevent the battery from dropping out of the battery housing portion, and easily open the lid when performing battery replacement or the like. Can do.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a printer 1 according to an embodiment to which the invention is applied.
The printer 1 (electronic device) has a substantially box-shaped main body 2, and the front side in FIG. The printer 1 prints characters and images on a roll-shaped print medium accommodated in the main body 2, and discharges the print medium from a paper discharge port 3 provided on the upper surface of the main body 2. Examples of printing media include plain paper, thermal paper, and label paper with glue. The printing method of the printer 1 includes a thermal method, a dot impact method, a thermal transfer method, an ink jet method, and the like, but there is no particular limitation. A paper lever 6 is disposed on the side of the paper discharge port 3. When the paper lever 6 is operated, the rear portion of the upper surface of the main body 2 opens upward from the paper discharge port 3 and the medium accommodating portion for accommodating the print medium is exposed so that the print medium can be replaced or replenished.
The main body 2 includes an upper case 4 and a lower case 5. On the upper surface of the upper case 4, the paper discharge port 3 described above opens. On the upper surface of the upper case 4, a switch unit 11 having a power switch for turning on / off the printer 1 and a feed switch for instructing a paper feeding operation is disposed. Further, in the vicinity of the switch unit 11, an indicator unit 12 having an LED indicator that lights / flashes in accordance with the operation state of the printer 1 is provided.

The printer 1 is a portable printer that a user carries and uses a battery. As will be described later, the battery is accommodated in a battery accommodating portion 20 (FIG. 2) formed in the lower case 5, and the battery accommodating portion 20 is provided with a battery cover 15 (lid) that can be opened and closed. The battery cover 15 opens on the side surface of the main body 2 as shown in FIG. FIG. 1 shows a state where the battery cover 15 is closed. When no external force is applied in this state, for example, the position of the battery cover 15 when the user is not touching the battery cover 15 is set as the closed position.
When the lock lever 16 is moved in the direction of the arrow UL, the battery cover 15 is rotated and opened in the direction of the arrow indicated by the symbol OP in the drawing. The battery cover 15 is biased toward the open position in the closed position by a spring biasing force described later. Therefore, when the lock lever 16 is slid, the battery cover 15 is opened in the direction of the arrow OP by the biasing force of the spring.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the printer 1 in a state where the battery cover 15 is opened.
As shown in FIG. 2, the lower case 5 is provided with a battery housing portion 20 that houses the battery 21. The battery accommodating part 20 is a cylindrical space and can accommodate the entire substantially cylindrical battery 21. The battery 21 is a battery that supplies power to the printer 1, and may be a primary battery or a secondary battery, and the internal structure and the like are arbitrary. With the battery cover 15 open, the battery 21 can be pulled out in the direction indicated by the arrow B in the figure and taken out. When the battery 21 is set in the printer 1, the battery 21 may be pushed in the direction opposite to the arrow B with the battery 21 facing the back of the battery housing portion 20. Near the opening of the battery housing portion 20, there is provided a guide projection 27 that fits into a groove formed on the side surface of the battery 21 when the battery 21 is set, and the battery projection 21 is straightened by the guide projection 27. Is inserted to the back.

The opening 20 a of the battery housing portion 20 is formed across the upper case 4 and the lower case 5. The opening 20 a extends from the side surface of the main body 2 to a part of the bottom surface. That is, a recessed portion 20b connected to the opening 20a is formed on a part of the bottom surface of the main body 2. The recessed part 20b is formed so that the bottom plate 25 of the main body 2 is cut out in a semicircular shape. When the battery cover 15 is opened, the recessed part 20b is connected to the opening 20a to form one opening.
The battery housing part 20 is formed on the bottom plate 25 of the main body 2. For this reason, when the recessed part 20b opens, the battery accommodating part 20 is exposed in the recessed part 20b. When the battery cover 15 is opened as shown in FIG. 2, the tip of the battery 21 accommodated in the battery accommodating portion 20 is exposed to the opening 20a. Furthermore, at the front end portion of the battery 21, a bottom surface corresponding to the lower surface in FIG. 2 is exposed in the recessed portion 20b. For this reason, the user can grasp the tip of the battery 21 by inserting a finger from the recess 20b. That is, the battery 21 housed in the battery housing part 20 can be grasped and pulled out and easily removed from the battery housing part 20. This take-out operation is simple and does not require a mechanism for pushing the battery 21 out of the battery housing portion 20.
An abutting portion 28 (regulating portion) is disposed inside the opening 20a. The abutting portion 28 is a part of the upper case 4 that constitutes the upper edge of the opening 20a extending downward. When the battery cover 15 is closed, the abutting portion 28 abuts on the battery cover 15 so that the battery cover 15 It restrict | limits so that it may not enter the battery accommodating part 20 inside.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing the configuration of the battery cover 15 in detail. 4 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line AA ′ of FIG. The configuration of the battery cover 15 will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 2, 3, and 4.
The battery cover 15 is configured by slidably attaching a lever member 32 to a flat base 31. The base 31 constitutes the main body of the battery cover 15, and the hinge 18 is connected to one end of the base 31.

A shaft 23 (FIG. 5) serving as a rotation center of the battery cover 15 is disposed on one end side of the opening 20a. The shaft 23 is fixedly erected in the vertical direction as a part of the main body 2 and is fixed by being sandwiched between the upper case 4 and the lower case 5.
The hinge 18 has an elongated hole through which the shaft 23 passes. The battery cover 15 is attached to the main body 2 so that the shaft 23 penetrates through the long hole of the hinge 18, and rotates about the shaft 23. That is, the battery cover 15 is rotated and opened in the direction indicated by the arrow OP in FIG. 1 from the closed position, and is closed by being rotated in the direction indicated by the arrow CL in the drawing from the open position shown in FIG. The position of the battery cover 15 shown in FIG. 2 is a position in the opened state, but this position does not need to be the maximum opening position, and the battery cover 15 may be configured to be able to be opened larger.
The hinge 18 is provided with a torsion coil spring (biasing means) (not shown) and urges the battery cover 15 to rotate about the shaft 23 in the direction of the arrow OP. That is, since the battery cover 15 is urged in the direction of the arrow OP, when the lock lever 16 is operated in a state where the battery cover 15 is in the closed position (hereinafter referred to as a closed state) as shown in FIG. It opens outward by the biasing force of the spring.

Further, the hinge 18 is connected to the base 31 through the bending portion 19. The bending portion 19 has a shape bent in a U-shaped cross section. When the battery cover 15 is opened as shown in FIG. 2, the edge 20 c of the opening 20 a of the main body 2 enters the curved portion 19 into the U-shaped curved portion. Therefore, it is possible to realize a configuration in which the battery cover 15 rotates around the shaft 23 fixed inside the main body 2 and opens to the outside of the main body 2.

The lever member 32 is a substantially flat member, and the lock lever 16 is erected. The lock lever 16 protrudes outside the main body 2, that is, on the side surface of the main body 2. As described with reference to FIG. 1, the lock lever 16 can be moved in the arrow UL direction and in the opposite direction (the arrow LK direction in the figure), and the entire lever member 32 slides with the lock lever 16. . A claw portion 36 that protrudes from the end of the base 31 is formed at one end of the lever member 32. The claw portion 36 protrudes from the battery cover 15 and engages with a receiving portion 51 (FIG. 5) formed on the battery housing portion 20 (FIG. 1) side, and holds the battery cover 15 in a closed state. In addition, a hook-shaped portion 37 that protrudes upward in FIG. The configuration and operation of the bowl-shaped portion 37 will be described later.
The claw portion 36 slides together with the entire lever member 32 when an operation of sliding the lock lever 16 is performed. When the lock lever 16 slides in the arrow UL direction, the claw portion 36 also moves in the arrow UL direction, and almost the entire claw portion 36 is accommodated in the base 31.

On the other end side of the lever member 32, a cylindrical space is formed between the lever member 32 and the base 31, and a compression coil spring 34 is accommodated in this space. The compression coil spring 34 is provided between the base 31 and the lever member 32, and is compressed when the lever member 32 moves in the arrow UL direction. That is, the compression coil spring 34 biases the lever member 32 in the arrow LK direction. The compression coil spring 34 holds the lever member 32 at a position where the claw portion 36 protrudes from the base 31 when the lock lever 16 is not operated.

The base 31 is provided with a battery retainer 41 on the surface on the battery housing portion 20 side. The battery retainer 41 is a box-shaped protrusion that protrudes toward the battery housing portion 20 and includes a compression coil spring 42 (biasing means) inside. The battery retainer 41 is urged toward the battery housing portion 20 by the compression coil spring 42, and the battery retainer 41 can be pushed toward the base 31 against this urging force.
The battery retainer 41 presses the front end surface of the battery 21 housed in the battery housing portion 20 with the battery cover 15 closed. The battery 21 is urged toward the inner side of the battery housing portion 20 by the urging force of the compression coil spring 42. A terminal (not shown) is disposed in the back of the battery housing portion 20, and this terminal is connected to a power supply board (not shown) of the printer 1. When the battery 21 is energized by the battery holder 41, the battery 21 can be held so that the battery 21 does not leave the terminal (not shown). Thereby, for example, even when an external force is applied to the printer 1, power can be stably supplied from the battery 21 to the printer 1. Further, when the battery retainer 41 presses the battery 21, the reaction force acts on the battery cover 15. The battery cover 15 is urged outward in the closed position by this reaction force and the urging force of a torsion coil spring (not shown) provided on the hinge 18, but the battery cover 15 is applied to the main body 2 by the claw portion 36. It is locked. For this reason, the battery cover 15 is held in the closed position without rattling.
Further, a tongue-like portion 35 is provided at the lower end of the base 31 so as to be substantially perpendicular to the base 31. The tongue-like portion 35 substantially closes the recessed portion 20 b (FIG. 2) of the main body 2 when the battery cover 15 is closed.

FIG. 5 is a plan view of the lower case 5. That is, it is a plan view of a portion excluding the upper case 4 and each part connected to the upper case 4 from the printer 1. FIG. 6 is an enlarged view of a main part in which a portion indicated by a broken line A in FIG. 5 is enlarged.
5 and 6 show the battery cover 15 in a closed state. In this state, the claw portion 36 protruding from the battery cover 15 is engaged with a receiving portion 51 provided in the lower case 5. That is, in the main body 2, a part of the lower case 5 extends toward the opening 20 a at the edge of the opening 20 a to form the receiving portion 51. A space 53 into which the claw portion 36 can enter is provided on the battery accommodating portion 20 side of the receiving portion 51, that is, inside, and the claw portion 36 enters the space 53 when the battery cover 15 is closed. In the closed state, the claw portion 36 is urged toward the receiving portion 51 by the urging force of the torsion coil spring and the compression coil spring 42 of the hinge 18 described above. The cover 15 is held in the closed position.

In addition, a hook-shaped portion 52 that protrudes toward the battery housing portion 20 is formed at the tip of the receiving portion 51. In the closed state of the battery cover 15, the receiving portion 51 is on the inner side than the hook-shaped portion 37, and the hook-shaped portion 37 is on the outer side of the receiving portion 51. Therefore, when the lock lever 16 is slid in the arrow UL direction in the closed state shown in FIG. 6, the hook-shaped portion 37 is caught by the receiving portion 51, so that the claw portion 36 is restricted from being detached from the receiving portion 51. For this reason, the battery cover 15 cannot be opened by sliding the lock lever 16 while the battery cover 15 is in the closed position.
In the printer 1 according to the present embodiment, the battery cover 15 can be moved further to the battery housing portion 20 side, that is, the inner side than the closed position.
In FIG. 5, the closed position of the battery cover 15 is indicated by a position C1. The broken line C <b> 1 indicates the position of the inner surface of the base 31. In the printer 1, the movable range of the battery cover 15 is provided up to a position C2 in the drawing. At the position C2, the recessed portion 20b and the tongue-shaped portion 35 are in contact with each other, and the base 31 and the contact portion 28 (FIG. 2) are in contact with each other, so that the battery cover 15 does not move inward from the position C2.
The battery cover 15 is biased outward by the biasing force of the torsion coil spring and the compression coil spring 42 of the hinge 18 in the closed position. When the battery cover 15 is pressed inward against the urging force, the battery cover 15 is displaced to the position C2. At the position C <b> 2, the tip of the hook-shaped part 37 is positioned inside the hook-shaped part 52. For this reason, when the lock lever 16 is slid in the arrow UL direction at the position C2, the lever member 32 is slid without the hook-shaped portion 37 being caught by the hook-shaped portion 52. Thereby, the nail | claw part 36 is drawn in in the base 31, the engagement with the nail | claw part 36 and the receiving part 51 is cancelled | released, and the battery cover 15 opens.

When opening the battery cover 15 in the printer 1, the battery cover 15 may be pressed and displaced inward, and the battery cover 15 may be slid in the direction of the arrow UL with the battery cover 15 displaced. Since the lock lever 16 is erected on the outer side of the battery cover 15, the operation of sliding the lock lever 16 while pushing the battery cover 15 is simple and can be performed smoothly. This operation is common regardless of whether the battery 21 is accommodated in the battery accommodating portion 20 or not.
In the closed state, the battery cover 15 is in the closed position unless an external force is applied, and the claw-like portion 37 does not detach from the receiving portion 51 because the collar-like portion 37 is engaged with the collar-like portion 52 as shown in FIG. . For this reason, even if an external impact is applied to the printer 1 or a strong vibration is applied, the battery cover 15 does not open against the user's intention. For example, when a strong force in the direction opposite to the arrow UL is applied to the main body 2 because, for example, the printer 1 falls and collides with the floor surface, the force in the arrow UL direction is applied to the lock lever 16 by the inertial force. Will be added. In this case, it is conceivable that the lock lever 16 slides in the direction of the arrow UL and the battery cover 15 opens, but in this embodiment, the hook-like portion 52 contacts the hook-like portion 37 as described above, The movement of the claw portion 36 is restricted. Thereby, the battery cover 15 is held in the closed position. Further, when the battery 21 tries to move in the direction of jumping out of the battery housing portion 20 by an external force, the battery cover 15 is pressed from the inside. In this case, since the hook-shaped portion 37 is pressed toward the receiving portion 51, it becomes more difficult to slide the claw portion 36, so that the battery cover 15 does not open and the battery 21 can be prevented from popping out. .

As described above, the printer 1 according to the embodiment to which the present invention is applied has the battery housing portion 20 that houses the battery 21, the rotatable battery cover 15 that opens and closes the battery housing portion 20, and the battery cover. 15, and a claw portion 36 that slides and projects from the battery cover 15, and a receiving portion 51 that engages with the claw portion 36 that projects from the battery cover 15. And the nail | claw part 36 becomes detachable from the receiving part 51 in the position which pushed in the battery cover 15 rather than the closed position. Therefore, the battery cover 15 cannot be opened by sliding the claw portion 36 in the closed position of the battery cover 15, and the battery cover 15 is not opened even if an external force is applied in the same direction. Thereby, the malfunction which the battery cover 15 opens contrary to a user's intention can be prevented, and the fall of the battery 21 from the battery accommodating part 20 can be prevented. On the other hand, when opening the battery cover 15, the user may push the battery cover 15 and slide the claw portion 36. For this reason, the user can open the battery cover 15 with a simple operation.

Further, in the printer 1, by providing the hook-like part 52 and the hook-like part 37, the movement of the claw part 36 in the pull-in direction is restricted at the closed position of the battery cover 15. For this reason, the battery cover 15 can be held closed even when an external force is applied in a direction in which the claw portion 36 slides against the user's intention. For this reason, for example, when a strong external force is applied to the main body of the printer 1, the battery cover 15 can be prevented from being opened, so that the unintended battery 21 can be prevented from falling off.
Furthermore, the printer 1 includes a compression coil spring 42 as an urging unit that urges the battery cover 15 in the opening direction in a state where the battery cover 15 is closed, and the battery cover 15 is moved from the closed position to the battery housing unit 20 side. Also, a contact portion 28 is provided in contact with the battery cover 15 at the pushed-in position. For this reason, the battery cover 15 can be held without shaking in the closed position. Further, when the battery cover 15 is pushed in, the battery cover 15 comes into contact with the contact portion 28 and stops, so that the battery cover 15 can be stopped at an appropriate position in the operation of opening the battery cover 15. Thereby, rattling of the battery cover 15 can be prevented, and the battery can be easily taken out. The compression coil spring 42 is provided on the battery cover 15 and presses the battery 21 housed in the battery housing portion 20 at the closed position of the battery cover 15, thereby preventing the battery cover 15 from rattling and the battery 21. Can be stabilized in the battery housing portion 20.

In the above embodiment, the configuration in which the hook portion 36 and the receiving portion 51 are provided with the hook-like portion has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this, and a simpler shape can also be used.
FIG. 7 is an enlarged plan view of a main part in a modified example, and corresponds to FIG.
In the modification shown in FIG. 7, a claw portion 38 is provided at the tip of the lever member 32 instead of the claw portion 36 (FIG. 6). The claw portion 38 is a projection that advances and retreats from the base 31 as the lock lever 16 slides in the same manner as the claw portion 36. The lower case 5 is provided with a receiving portion 54 instead of the receiving portion 51. Similarly to the receiving portion 51, the receiving portion 54 is formed in the lower case 5 at the edge of the opening 20a.

When the battery cover 15 is closed, the claw portion 38 enters the space 53 and engages the receiving portion 54 to keep the battery cover 15 in the closed position. Here, the outer surface of the claw portion 38, that is, the surface on the receiving portion 54 side is a slope 39. The inclined surface 39 is a surface in which the tip side of the claw portion 38 approaches the receiving portion 54. On the other hand, the receiving portion 54 has an inclined surface 55 on the claw portion 38 side. The inclined surface 55 is a surface where the front end side of the receiving portion 54 is directed toward the battery housing portion 20 side.
For this reason, as shown in FIG. 7, in the closed position of the battery cover 15, the slopes 39 and 55 are opposed so as to engage with each other.

When the lock lever 16 is slid in the arrow UL direction at the closed position of the battery cover 15 and the claw portion 38 is pulled into the base 31, the inclined surface 39 of the claw portion 38 is in contact with the inclined surface 55. It tries to move to the battery housing part 20 side. Here, the battery cover 15 is biased outward by a compression coil spring 42 and a torsion coil spring (not shown) of the hinge 18. For this reason, resistance is applied to the force for sliding the claw portion 38. As described above, when the battery cover 15 is opened in the closed position, resistance is applied to the force for operating the lock lever 16.
When the battery cover 15 is opened, the battery cover 15 may be pushed toward the battery housing part 20 from the closed position and the lock lever 16 may be slid as in the above embodiment. By pushing the battery cover 15, the inclined surface 39 is separated from the inclined surface 55, so that the resistance of the claw portion 38 to sliding is eliminated. For this reason, the battery cover 15 can be easily opened.

The embodiment and the modification described above show an example to which the present invention is applied, and the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and may be changed as appropriate without departing from the gist of the present invention. Of course, it is possible.
For example, in the above-described embodiment and modification, the configuration including the bar-shaped lock lever 16 standing on the outside of the main body 2 has been described as an example, but the lever member 32 has a plate shape with a hole. Is also possible. In this case, by sliding the plate, the claw portion 36 can slide to open the battery cover 15.
Moreover, although the example which provided the receiving parts 51 and 54 in the lower case 5 was demonstrated in the said embodiment and modification, the receiving parts 51 and 54 can also be provided in the upper case 4 side. That is, the receiving portions 51 and 54 may be provided so as to straddle the upper case 4 and the lower case 5 in the vertical direction of the main body 2. Further, the receiving portions 51 and 54 may be provided only in the upper case 4, and the positions of the receiving portions 51 and 54 and the size in the vertical direction are arbitrary.

In the embodiment and the modification, the battery cover 15 can be pushed to the position C2 closer to the battery housing part 20 than the closed position C1. At this position C2, the claw parts 36 and 38 are moved from the receiving parts 51 and 54. A detachable configuration is illustrated. Instead of this configuration, for example, the battery cover 15 may be configured not to move from the closed position C1 to the battery accommodating unit 20 side. In this case, the base 31 and the lever member 32 of the battery cover 15 may have elasticity, and may be configured to be elastically deformed toward the battery housing portion 20 by pressing the distal end side of the base 31. Thereby, it becomes possible to open the battery cover 15 by displacing the nail | claw part 36 to the battery accommodating part 20 side. With this configuration, the same effect as in the above embodiment can be obtained. Further, since there is no need to provide a gap for the battery cover 15 to move to the position C2 between the recessed portion 20b and the tongue-shaped portion 35, the state where the battery cover 15 is located at the closed position C1 is used as a reference. It becomes possible to close between the opening 20a and the base 31 without a gap. Therefore, the gap of the opening 20a can be blocked to prevent dust from entering, and the battery 21 can be protected. Further, it is possible to provide a waterproof performance by disposing packing over the entire edge of the opening 20a including the recessed portion 20b.
The present invention is not limited to the printer 1 and can be applied to various electronic devices using the battery 21 as a power source. The type and capacity of the battery 21 are arbitrary. Moreover, when the shape of the battery 21 is a polygon, the battery accommodating part 20 can also change a shape according to it.
