Abstract
Description
本発明は、微粒子を製造する微粒子製造装置に関する。 The present invention relates to a fine particle production apparatus for producing fine particles.
近年、レーザアブレーション法により微粒子を製造する手法が提案されている。例えば、特許文献1では、第1のターゲットに第1のパルスレーザを照射して第1のプラズマプルームを生じさせるとともに、第2のターゲットに第2のパルスレーザを照射して第1のプラズマプルームと交差する第2のプラズマプルームを生じさせることが行われる。これにより、第1のプラズマプルームと第2のプラズマプルームが交差する領域で所定の反応を生じさせ、特異な結晶構造を有する物質が作製される。
In recent years, methods for producing fine particles by a laser ablation method have been proposed. For example, in

FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a configuration of a fine
The fine
FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the
As shown in FIG. 1, the
A plurality (three in the present embodiment) of
In the
In the production of fine particles in the fine
When the supply of the carrier gas is started, the pulse laser beam is emitted at a predetermined cycle by starting to drive the
Ablation particles generated from each of the plurality of
As described above, the cross-sectional area of the mixing
As described above, in the fine
また、複数のターゲット材料9から発生する複数のプルーム91の間が、仕切板31により互いに仕切られていることにより、複数のターゲット材料9から発生する複数のプルーム91が互いに重なる(互いに影響を及ぼす)ことを確実に防止することができる。さらに、キャリアガスの流れ方向に垂直な混合空間212の断面積が、流れ方向の下流側に向かって漸次減少することにより、アブレーション粒子を効率よく混合することができる。
In addition, since the plurality of
By the way, when producing fine particles by making the pressure in the chamber sufficiently lower than the atmospheric pressure, a large pressure reducing mechanism is required. On the other hand, in the fine
次に、上記微粒子製造装置1により微粒子を製造する実施例について述べる。本実施例では、ミラー42aが省略されるとともに、(+Y)側の仕切板31にはターゲット材料が設けられない。チャンバ2の(−Y)側の側面部29に設けられるターゲット材料9、および、(−Y)側の仕切板31に設けられるターゲット材料9のうち、一方はアルミナ(Al2O3)であり、他方はイットリア安定化ジルコニア(正確には、Y2O3を8mol%混合したZrO2)である。
Next, the Example which manufactures microparticles | fine-particles with the said
The carrier gas includes argon (Ar) gas and oxygen (O 2 ) gas, the partial pressure of argon gas is 100 kilopascals (kPa), and the partial pressure of oxygen gas is 10 kPa. The flow rate of the carrier gas is 8 meters per second. The
図6は、微粒子製造装置1の他の例を示す図である。図6の微粒子製造装置1では、図1の微粒子製造装置1と比較して、チャンバ2に補助供給口25が追加される点が相違する。他の構成は、図1の微粒子製造装置1と同様であり、同じ構成に同符号を付している(以下同様)。
FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating another example of the fine
In the fine
In the fine
FIG. 7 is a view showing another example of the fine
The fine
In addition, as shown in FIG. 9, four
In the above embodiment, the pressure in the
As described above, in the fine
In the fine
The nanoparticle formation completion time depends on conditions such as the pressure in the
In the fine
キャリアガスは、アルゴンガスや酸素ガス以外のガス(窒素ガス等)を含むものであってもよい。また、ターゲット材料9として、アルミナや、イットリア安定化ジルコニア以外に、酸化銅(CuO)、酸化バリウム(BaO)、ニッケル酸リチウム(LiNiO2)、3元系材料であるニッケルコバルトマンガン酸リチウム、チタン添加マンガン酸リチウム、シリコン(Si)、アルミニウム(Al)等を例示することができる。
The carrier gas may contain a gas (nitrogen gas or the like) other than argon gas or oxygen gas. In addition to alumina and yttria-stabilized zirconia, the
上記実施の形態および各変形例における構成は、相互に矛盾しない限り適宜組み合わされてよい。 The configurations in the above-described embodiments and modifications may be combined as appropriate as long as they do not contradict each other.
