特許文献２において軟質フォトフレームは自己粘着力を発揮する写真透視窓が開口するシート体が写真を直接押さえつけ壁面へ接着する形態をとっている。写真の一部がシート体にかぶさることととなり写真全体を展示出来ていないという問題があった、
特許文献３において封筒型フォトフレームは封筒状に重量連結された表シート及び裏シートを有する方形の外枠とこお外枠に丁度入る形状の台紙及び透明フィルムとを備えており、外枠が半透明のトレーシングペーパーから形成され、表シートの中央部に開口窓を有し、台紙における上記開口窓と合致する位置に写真枠用止付切込を有している封筒型フォトフレームである。封筒型フォトフレームは外枠と台紙の写真枠用止付切込にずれが生じる可能性があり、意匠性を損じる可能性があった。

ポケット（５）は図１に示されるように透明シート（２）上に接着された透明なポケット（５）である。
ポケット（５）には挿入口（６）が設けてある透明の袋状の物、透明シート（２）の中央に接着や溶着等で取り付けてある。ポケット（５）は写真等展示物（４）の大きさに合わせた大きさのものを設置している。
挿入口（６）は図１が示すようにポケット（５）に設けられた挿入口（６）で写真を挿入するためのものである。
