又、首の裏側cが最も安定する位置は、クッション10Bの土手の場所であり、この場所の高さを個々に調整することによって、個々にマッチした枕となるが図5に示す、本発明による、ばねと枕台をマッチさせたハイブリット型枕の場合には、パンタグラフ型ジャッキ18前で調整が可能となったこと。
更に、パンタグラフ型ジャッキ18前、パンタグラフ型ジャッキ18後の高さを変更することによって、使用時のクッション10Bの前後の傾斜のバランスも調整できることから、枕としての第一機能を飛躍的に向上させた枕となしていること。
(パンタグラフ型ジャッキ18後を前方に寄せることで、枕を乗せる支持板19Bの傾きを、さらに大きく出来ることなどもあり、ねじりコイルばね13Bの撓みの大きさの選択や、その他のばねの適用等、設計上の自由度が大きくなるなどの効果も大きい)
又、図5に示した、本発明による、ばねと枕台をマッチさせたハイブリット型枕においては、クッション用ベース11Bへ短管35と、固定用ネジ36を付設し、短管35の内部にねじりコイルばね13Bの先端部を挿入して、固定用ネジ36を用いて、締め付けて固定する機構を付加した形となしていることから、クッション10Bをねじりコイルばね13B先端部の上で移動・固定して利用できる。
