Abstract

Description

  The present invention relates to a swab for collecting a test sample, and particularly to a technique for collecting and storing a test DNA sample.

  Conventionally, a system has been proposed for collecting and storing a DNA sample (DNA sample) for examination from the oral cavity using a swab (cotton swab). For example, there has been proposed a swab system in which a plurality of absorbent pads are assembled to a skewer, and each pad can be separated from the skewer and an adjacent pad (see Patent Document 1).
